Kendra had a small premonition when she entered the room. The premonition revealed that is Abberline were to start shooting, someone would try and fail to distract him. If she were to take advantage of this failure in a way that put the one who attempted the distraction in the line of fire, Kendra would be safe from harm.
You can either suffer 3 harm or avoid the bullets but have Grace also Keep Her Cool to avoid being shot.
Oooh... this is a tough one.
On one hand, Kendra is the kind of person who would prefer to endanger themself than anyone else. On the other hand, Grace is a ghost... would Kendra even expect her to take damage from being shot? Hmmmmm.....

Ok, I think we've lost Birdboy for now. I'm going to get to work on the next DM post. While I do that, I'd like your opinion on this approach to how long an enemy lasts in a fight.
Sorry it took me so long to respond to this. I agree with everyone else, I think it's a good approach for some fights, though probably not all. I'm still fairly newish to DnD tho *shrugs*
I'd like to say we're the creepiest rescue Misty has ever had, but I dunno. She might've seen weirder in her career xD
