Posted. Flicker's social skills are... questionable, but they're doing their best, I swear xD
While Aura didn't seem to harbor any ill will towards Flicker specifically, the fire genasi could tell she wasn't entirely happy either. Whether she was mulling over their conversation from earlier or was bothered by something else entirely, they had no idea and they didn't think right now was the best time to address it. Maybe once they were on the road or even once they reached Cascade's village. However, they did resolve that they would at least try to talk to her at some point. Perhaps over a tasty meal of some kind.

That last thought was like a light going off inside Flicker's mind as their introspective gloom seemed to almost immediately melt away, giving way to various plans of what kind of things they could cook for their companions.

It was at that point Aura seemed to acquire the group a cart and asked if they were ready to leave, to which Flicker quickly raised a hand. "Ah, one thing," they said. "It's just occurred to me that I haven't had time to try out the new cooking utensils I bought. If nobody minds, I would like to go get us some fresh ingredients so I could possibly make us something nice along the road." They're already starting to take a couple of steps away from the group even as they're speaking, not seeming to register Rala's words and question... or perhaps, are actively ignoring any mention of their injured comrade.
You should be good on that front.

Cool. I'll try and get a post up over the next couple of days.
someone hasn't forgotten her T _T

Oh Flicker hasn't forgotten... they're trying very hard not to think about her right now because you know... lots of guilt and rage about that whole situation.
If I recall correctly, Flicker enjoys cooking, yes? Well with the grocer and the general merchant both within reach, this is a golden opportunity to purchase some ingredients.

Might actually do that, if that doesn't slow things down too much. I have been meaning for them to cook for the group at some point (especially cook Cascade a meal as thanks for putting up with their temper earlier)
I'll let a couple of other people react to Brut's transformation before I put another Jub post... but just know his mind is racing to figure out how to defuse this situation xD
Also, speaking of vocals, does Brutrumukk still know the goblin language? And does he know gnomish now?
Man, the scene was awesome, coming up with follow up questions was hard. I've a bunch of small ones I'd like to ask, or ones that boil down to "would she know about this". Lmk if these don't work, I've backup ones:

- What did Greeny want out of the talk with Brume, if killing her wasn't the goal? To convince her of something? Would Fellwing have been able to pry into the objective, considering she did sense some of Greeny's emotions?
- What island does the vision take place in? Would the alpine forest give her a clue/would she have been able to try and pinpoint some landmarks (like mountains etc.) while in the vision?

Oh and one of those "would she know" questions that isn't really a follow up question-- what, if any, would she know about unicorns/bicorns, and are the latter normally a thing?

Was going to work on a post but realized I need to ask these first, oops. I can get a post up next week though!

No, those are perfectly good questions!

1. Greeny's goal was to try and convince Brume to join her and Bicorn's cause, not just because Brume was an old friend but specifically because Brume was a elemental, and a very powerful one at that. Greeny seems to hold elementals, and nature in general, in high esteem.

2. This vision takes place in the very northern part of Yves. You've probably never been there yourself, because Kebros' strongholds tend to be in warmer climates, but you know that Greeny's been there plenty of times, and you're able to recognise it through her knowledge.

3. Unicorns... are something you've only heard of in fairy tales. They are a very ancient race of fae that are supposedly meant to have gone extinct before the Great Houses were even formed, so there's never been any reports of one being on the Isles ever. They were hunted by the ancient dragons for their horns, which have great magical properties particularly in the arts of healing and purification. You've never heard of a Bicorn before.
Jub just trying to grieve his friend in peace but the Feywild still wants to pull some bullshit.

Jub: Is 'why' an emotion? Because that's what I'm feeling right now.
Jub the Peculiar

Jub had been replaying the scene of Brutrumukk's demise over and over again in his head when the wild magic starting playing up, and his body instinctively tensed as he sensed that familiar electrical feeling in the atmosphere. In his shocked and grief-addled mind, he was fully prepared for something to happen that would decimate him and his remaining companions. After all, Brutrumukk had been the strongest of them, and he had been taken out so easily.

However, instead of some terrible catastrophe, some strange music started playing as something came out of the lake where Brutrumukk's body had previously been. It didn't look like him, but something in Jub could tell it was what remained of his departed friend. His essence, spirit, soul... whatever you wanted to call it, Jub had never been particularly spiritual, but he got the idea. It placed itself out on the grass and all Jub could do was kind of stare it. Through the numbness and confusion in his mind, Jub could feel the smallest spark of hope. Then, the area was overtaken by a bright light, causing the goblin to wince. He wasn't sure what was going to happen when he opened his eyes again, but he had this nagging suspicion that it was going to be something weird. The Feywild seemed incapable of being normal for more than two seconds, after all.

Sure enough, when the light cleared and Jub opened his eyes again, there was a naked forest gnome lying where Brutrumukk's whatever had been. Jub stood up as he had a creeping suspicion of what had just happened, but he wasn't about to do anything until said suspicion was confirmed.

Then the gnome woke up and started cursing at the goblin gods and Jub knew he was right: this was Brutrumukk, reborn but still the same guy he had been a few minutes ago. Jub let out a small sigh of relief, followed by a louder sigh of frustration as he removed his wizard cloak. "This place really is going to be the death of me," he muttered under his breath before he approached the transformed barbarian. He handed him his cloak. "You might want to put this on for now. Don't want you catching some kind of, I don't know, weird fairy cold or something."
