That's all of the characters created then. What happens now?

A little world-building. One of you takes the map which is the setting section, marksw one location, uploads it, then the next person will do the same and so on until we've gone round the entire group. It can be a location listed in the top left corner, a location mentioned in any character or overall backstory, or something you just came up with. Since Haruki's going to be busy for the week, we'll have her go last.

Anyone up to going first?
Ah yes, those two Experiences are good! You're good to go!

Oh and thank you for correcting me on that! I will fix that in the part list immediately.
Done with the sheet!

Looks pretty good! All I ask is for you to clarify what the two Experiences mean are about, and then you can pop it in the character tab.

And with THAT, we have our full party! Heck yeah!
Flicker glanced over at Aura when she brought up the genie war, a grimace forming over their face as they remembered that. With the Nanna May stuff and their dream, they'd almost forgotten about it. They made a mental note that their next letter to the Order should be if they'd heard anything about that. They hadn't been the only genasi in the Order, after all. Someone must have some intel that could be helpful.

When Jørmund mentioned destroying the items they had gotten from Nana May, they nodded. "That would probably be the best solution," they said. "Just get rid of the temptation immediately." They then pointed with their thumb to Aura. "But, considering they're in Aura's lamp, they're pretty out of the way already. We can't get to them without her, and I trust her to stop us from doing anything stupid." They look at Aura. "So it's your call really. I mean... how much space do you have in your lamp? Are they, I dunno, taking up too much room? If not, we can keep them in there and it probably would be fine."

They then looked over at Jørmund. "Considering I'm going to be on the front lines, I probably need a little extra help." They turned their gaze over to Cascade. "Unless you think you might need it."
I think Flicker should have the buff.

Well, if Haruki's okay with that, sure. After all, Flicker probably could use it.
I must admit I'm somewhat confused about why all the place names on the map are in a box in the top left corner, as opposed to on the spots that bear the corresponding name.

So from what I've gathered, Daggerheart encourages the idea of collective world-building, where I lay down a map and we go round the table marking locations on the map. Those locations would normally be ones we each come up with, but it seems each of the campaign frame maps come with their own list of possible locations. Once everyone's character sheets are done and we've covered connection questions, we can look to adding locations to our map. We can either use the stock ones on the side (or some of them at least) and/or make up our own. I imagine, for example, characters might want to put their home villages/towns or landmarks associated with their backstory... or just something that sounds like a cool place to visit. Plus, the map has just enough detailed that you might see a spot on the map and come up with an idea of what that place may be.

For example, I might mark where the village of Alula is, since that's our starting place, or a sacred area associated with one of the deities. We don't have to fill up the entire map, it's encouraged that we leave blank spaces, but a few starting locations are good.
Have you heard anything back from them yet? It's been seven days since they last posted something publicly.

I did hear from them yesterday, they haven't been around for the last few days because it was difficult for them to get onto the guild, but they said they would start work on their CS today.
One of the greatest joys for a GM is going to sleep and then waking up to find that your players have been happily fleshing out their characters together. That was a nice thing to wake up to, thank you guys ^^

Also thank you for giving me a bunch of cool world-building stuff to work with. I definitely will only use these tools for good and not for evil.

I have an idea for a connection between Pepper and anyone from Fanewick if either of you are interested (and if the DM is okay with this. ^^")

I was thinking that the Book in Pepper's inventory "The Book you're trying to translate", is a family heirloom. She was given this book before she left to find the cure, and was told to take great care of it. Naturally, she would be curious about the book and work to try and translate it on her own time.

She doesn't know the contents and the history behind the book: Pepper's wizard ancestors received this book after somehow saving the life of a Fanewick resident. Perhaps the Fanewick resident was Arnannel himself, or a relative of his, or somebody else he knows.

Dimple could have seen this happen, if not know the Brevil ancestor himself, and maybe recognize Pepper as their descendant?

If the players in question are cool with it, so am I.
I will say, I am (pleasantly) surprised to see so many people chose to make Haven-aligned characters. I was worried that, given the overview, people would have a difficult time wanting to empathize with Haven as opposed to Fanewick. Glad to see that is not the case.
