Satana: Look, I gave the Crow increased sentience!
Ashley: You messed up a perfectly good crow is what you did. Look at it, it's developing anxiety!
One would think a near death experience, a sudden increase in sentience and acquiring of literal superpowers would drastically alter the Crow's daily routine... and it had, though perhaps not as much as one might believe.

In the day or so since fleeing the scene of the destroyed Mario's, the Crow had been surveying their territory only slighter closer than usual, keeping an eye out for any weird activity that may resemble what they had experienced with their new comrades. They'd even spread word to some of the other crows about the man who's phone the Crow had stolen in case he returned to the area, though with a warning not to directly engage, merely observe. In a time that no longer existed, that man had been responsible for the Crow and his comrades' death, and while it seemed that such a thing may have been unintended, the Crow was not about to risk another birds' life. They didn't need that on their conscience...

Conscience, huh? Yes, it seemed the Crow had one of those now, or at least that's what they assumed this new feeling of weight each of their individual thoughts had was. The sense that, from now on, every decision they made might have wider spread consequences that what they intended. That everything they did was not part of something much larger than they could even comprehend with their increased awareness. It was thrilling, but also incredibly disconcerting, and they weren't exactly sure how to deal with it. So they didn't. They pushed the thoughts down as far as they could and decided that, should they continue for too long, they would ask one of their human allies for insight. Perhaps they would be able to make sense of these new thought and feelings in a way that Crow was unable.

Speaking of his human allies, the Crow hadn't seen much of them in the past couple of days. He assumed they had their own human concerns to attend to. However, on the fourth day of Christmas, when the Crow caught sight of Ashley on his territory, he decided it was best to check in with her. Of the three humans he'd spoken to, Ashley was the one he knew the least, but from what he had seen of her, she seemed quite astute and level-headed. He landed on top of a car close to her, pausing for a moment to clear the inside of his left wing before addressing her. "Good day, Ashley," he said. He glanced over at Mario's. "Am I to assume your surveying the area in which we had our brush with death? Fear not, for I have informed the other crows of the man who attacked us, and they will be keeping an eye out for him and any other shenanigans that mat happen in the area."

The Crow had yet to grasp the idea of small talk, it seemed.
If no one has anything to add, I'll get to work on the next DM post. It will be up some time next week.
I don't know but I think they are far away from each other.

Walking distance far at the very least.

Then how is Ashley able to here the argument between Emily and Luka if she's at Mario's and they're at the Dorms?
Just to clarify before my post, 'cause I'm slightly confused: are the Dorms on the same street as Mario's?
@XxFellsingxX

Interested at doing a Tie Event between Nevermore and Ashley? I could start it if needed.

Sure! Sounds good. And it would probably be best if you started, because I don't think the Crow would approach Ashley first. She's the member of the group he has the least read on.

If Ashley needs to find him, he'll probably be hanging around the street outside the diner, or a street connecting to that one. Because of the white spots on his wings, he'll also be fairly easy to spot.
Does anyone want to have their characters intercept Pepper on her way to the inn or are you all wanting to just have the next GM post?
Pepper: Ah! My eyes!
*proceeds to fall to the Forest Floor, and dies*
Video Game Narrator Voice: GAME OVER!

Who knew that gravity would be the final boss?
I love how Skobeloff is casually just like "I need to talk to Fellwing about unicorns" to all the NPCs

Like... I know why, and he knows why.

But to the npcs it would be akin to us saying, unprompted, "I need to go to talk to someone about pterodactyls".
Jub the Peculiar

Jub made a disdainful face at the cats' rhyme, which only became more so when they started with their creepy laughter. "I hate this so much," he muttered, before following after Brutrumukk.
