Current People are torn apart in the status bar ? Not me. I am heavier than iron, splitting me apart will release dangerous levels of energy.

I got money, I'll just buy the whole prison including all inmates from the state, but not before placing a bet on the financial markets that crime rate will massively increase very soon and suddenly.

Colleagues told me I'd look like a viking. I'm not sure whether that's a compliment, a warning, something derogative or all of these things.

I'd change the name from 'President' to 'Presidentist' to troll the nation. If a press conference is too noisy, I let a piece of chalk screech on an old whiteboard in front of the microphone.

Why doesn't the US government order the invasion of their own country, North America got plenty of natural resources, too! *looks at ICE and national guard activities* Oh wait, they already are...

Bio

Welcome to my profile page!

Who the hell is this person behind those many miles of fiber optics and copper cable ?

  • I'm a 34 year old guy.
  • ... who's working as a software developer
  • ... and enjoys roleplaying as a casual hobby to distract himself from ongoing stress

And into which hell will I descend with you participating in one of my roleplays?

  • I'm a fantasy addict: medieval high and low!
  • I'd consider myself to be a low casual roleplayer, 3 paragraphs per post on average.
  • My schedule varies. It might happen that I won't be able to post at all for a week, but then again it might happen that I'll reach a sweet spot inside which I can go on a posting rampage. I'd say one can expect 1-2 posts a week from me, depending on the lengths involved.
  • English is not my native language, but so far I've not encountered anyone who had had trouble with me over that :)

Want to RP with me ? Shoot me a PM, but don't shoot me!

Thanks for visiting!

@Aspen Wren Asmund's already at the stables, Laurel is in her room if I read correctly. He didn't follow her and Vlad.
@Deserted I think I'm going to make an Etlock. If you're interested in teaming up, feel free to PM me :)
@Aspen Wren Please tell me if you need more input from me to make a post. Having read over it again it appears to me that what I've given could be at the lower end of what is adequate.

"If they come with pitchforks and torches, I will come with fists and magic!" Madawc snarled. He was clearly steaming, but at least he did let Xavier and Bette into the general store before entering it himself. With that protective barrier in front of him his bad mood probably would not be too penetrative.

While he was letting Bette and Xavier do their business first, he counted his remaining coins. It really wasn't much that was left, but it would be enough to keep him nourished for a few days. He could sleep outside, if necessary.
The careful onlooker would notice that there was a brief interruption in which An-Hasst appeared to stop moving completely and just stared at Yaroslav. So this mage had been on the battlefield himself ? How interesting... The Skayleigh looked askant at him, then slowly let his hand slide along the other man's. He retracted it without shaking that of Yaroslav. Would the mage notice this indication of him not being amused ? An-Hasst didn't think so because he already seemed engaged in talking with Alice.

The Skayleigh didn't care. It would have been a lie not to say that he had started fighting with the more unstable parts of his personality. In fact, it had not been that long ago that he had lost his job as a doorman for another tavern. In an outburst he had exploited his giant heritage to beat the shit out of a particularly annoying guest who had thrown a barrage of insults at him. He realized that it was of utmost importance to not let this happen again right here right now. The half-elf didn't feel the need to show much mercy with Yaroslav, but the task at hand sounded far too grave for letting his personal aversions infiltrate the coherence of their group too much.

"An-Hasst Ahal" he said while he was lifting himself back up again. It already was more directed towards the woman than towards Yaroslav. There appeared to be a bit of an accent in her speech, but right now he didn't care about. It didn't sound like Andred and that was sufficient. After all, he wasn't eager to disturb their dialogue.

The next destination of what possibly many of the people around here would consider a walking tower was the counter. One could hear his deep voice ordering one of the local beverages. When he returned, he was swaying a liquid looking like beer in a rather large tankard and sticking his nose into the evaporating smell. Judging by his facial expression, it didn't taste that good for him, but An-Hasst found his coins to be too valuable to become wasted. The skayleigh made a chug-a-lug out of it. Would a more ordinary elf have allowed himself to spill some drops of it onto his clothing ? He used his arm to collect all the items he had spread out onto the desk in one go and dropped them back into the elven silk bag before sitting down again.

Even with this overwhelming amount of muscle attached to his frame he just had to put his slimness at a serious challenge, because... He was unleashing an all-out offensive against the meal on the table as if there was no tomorrow to care about. Between the loads of food he forced into his mouth, he still managed to speak to Beren: "Sooo... I'm An-Hasst Ahal. What's your name ? I guess you're a great fighter, aren't you ?" He knew back in his head that there was still a request pending he had directed at Vanya, but that would be a short interruption and nothing more. At least so he hoped.

[...], making well written posts (some might want to re-read to get the correct wording for certain things, but not too much of a big deal), and you've got good characters and effort. [...]

Can you please PM me if it is me you want to address or not ? If I want to improve my posts (what possibly could be necessary - English is not my main language) I need to know it for sure ^^

Remember though, the better/more realistic your posts, the better loot you get. goldgoldgoldgold

What ? Gold ? Damn! I was hoping for something more interesting like... depleted uranium, for example. If An-Hasst had crossbow bolts made out of this... Or perhaps a vial of Skayleigh growth elixir. Being enraged he would be crazy enough to use it, perhaps.

......I came first place in archery class

Physics. Yes, I'm boring :(
@POOHEAD189 Do you want to let Vanya respond first before I post again ?
Asmund Gjanarsson

Ohh shit! This wasn't actually happening to him right now, was it ? Asmund halfway panicked when he noticed that Vlad had passed out. The gifted quickly checked if his grip could be too firm for the witch. Vlad appeared rather sturdy, but someone who knew Asmund knew that difficulties controlling his strength were no new phenomenon to him. After all he had just lifted that tree out of the way without feeling much of an effort. Being able to shake hands with someone else required an amount of sensitivity that many people didn't judge him to have. Not that he could not understand that. Asmund checked Vlad's pulse.

"Here, you can have him if you promise me to do no harm. That won't teach him anything." He let the unconscious Vlad slide out of his arm into those of Laurel. What Asmund didn't tell her that he was somehow glad to get rid of the problem. Those red glowing scars, paired with the direction Vlad's eyes were pointing at and the position of his eyeballs in general, were a bit scary indeed.

"I'll tidy up this mess a bit and then go to the equine center. If you want to find me, look there first." He didn't judge his chances very high though. It would not be the first time he would be sitting on a horse, but the last time he had been a teenager not knowing that he was gifted. Since then, he had grown by more than three feet, gained an incredible lot of muscular bulk and got a bit of a gut. He certainly wasn't the most agile one around here and not the fastest either, but it was worth a try. He could remember very well that he had enjoyed riding in the past.

Asmund used the side area of his hammer as a shovel to fill up the small crater he had created with the very same tool. The tree was a different thing: If he moved it out of here he would likely cause more damage to the surrounding vegetation than by just letting it rest here, or the charred wood would start to desintegrate in his hands, leaving a trail of ash behind. He planned to get a saw and cut this thing into innocent pieces later, but for now, he headed out to the stables.

"Erm... anyone here ?" Asmund's lack of self-confidence was audible in his voice. At least the ceiling here was comfortably high. The Mjölnir-ish hammer and the other two items had disappeared from his girdle as mysteriously as they had entered this world. He cerintaly would not need any of them here.
@Fetzen @The Fated Fallen I did our doubled up conversation. If An-Hasst Ahal is going to punch up Yaroslav don't let him aim for the face that's his money maker.

Don't worry. He will just wait until they stand in front of a mountain ridge they need to get over, then step or even jump onto Yaroslav's ribcage and shoulders until they collapse, and then claim: "Hey guys! It seems I have found a way to get people through this tiny gap in the rocks over there. I believe there's a secret passage behind that will save us several days of stressful and dangerous journey! Who wants to be next ? Andred folks preferred, because so far they are the only ones this method has been proven to work!"

(No, please don't take me seriously...)
