Idols Are Heroes Too!

Jess stood by and carefully watched as the last few idols that remained for her particular segment emerged to introduce themselves. Dancers, singers, musicians, it was an impressive bunch that had been gathered here, yet sh did her best to remain relaxed and confident in spite of those many famous people around her. She would not let it stop her from doing her best in this competition, whatever might happen.

Once the intros had ended the MC emerged, and Jess braced herself as she suddenly found the stage transformed, and herself wearing a princess outfit. It didn't quite work with the instrument that she held but she did her best as she danced along with the music, flourishing in kicks and spins, twirling her bow and otherwise doing her best to put on a show. She wasn't the best dancer there, but she liked to think that she made a good go of it.

Overall though, she didn't go all out as she might have. It would be best to keep something in the tank, a couple surprises for when the competition really got started. No one would be foolish enough to throw out their whole bag right off the bag, in the opening number when they weren't even going against each other. So sh held back and kept it a bit subdued, even as she grinned for the audience with the energy that pumped through her veins.

The song ended at last and Jess posed, wearing a grin as she looked out to the crowd. When the lights dropped she hurried off the stage, vacating it so that they could move on with the program. Heading back past the others, she made hr way to her tam room and took a seat on one of the couches there once she had dealt with hr instrument. There she could look at the monitor and watch the show to see how everyone else did. She was sure that it would b spectacular.

Well, the idea that I had previously worked out with the GMs was that he would be raiding an Imperium supply convoy for valuable materials that she's using to build her special Final Boss machine, that he thinks he'll be able to resell for a good chunk of change. Does that sound like it could be fun?

@Inner Demon I had originally had Miyu survive Juno's attack but later maths made that ridiculous. 50000 g's is not remotely survivable.
