There. Not the most amazing thing I've ever written but it's a start. Expect ransom demands in the next post
Finch
Two days after the Behir

The time had come again for Finch to go to work. No longer having to look over his shoulder for an unfortunate Epic dropin after Magus uncovered him at the park during that incident, he had gotten word from his contacts that an opportunity was open, and now he planned to take it. This wasn't about money though, this was about fame, prestige, getting his name out there. That was what mattered the most to him.

He was all ready to go, of course. He had some glass items on his for when he needed to fight, and had on his trademark outfit. Now it was just a matter of getting his target. And of that he had little worry due to the arrangements he had set up to make this all happen.

Getting into the garage had been easy, with a bit of money and not looking that suspicious. It was once they were firmly inside the parking facility that they could get to work, parking the van somewhere out of the way. The men and Finch himself poured out, and he gestured forward to begin moving through the darkened structure. It was the end of the business day but of course the mayor had been delayed by a phone call, so most of the people had left. One driver remained with the van to watch over it, while the other men went to work.

Finch himself was unarmed, but his men had guns with them. They needed it more than he did, and the group moved quickly down the rows and halls of the parking garage towards their target.

They arrived just in time to see the mayor getting into his car to go home. He had escorts of course, since nobody would be that stupid to be in a position of power without some protection in a city like this. But that wasn't going to make a difference here. There was no such thing as perfect protection.

He waved to his men who went to work, short bursts of silenced weaponry taking out the guards. He strode up to the car, touching the window with a bare hand. That allowed a hole to open, through which he tossed in a smoke grenade with knockout gas before closing the hole. It filled the car, subduing the worried and then suddenly terrified mayor.

Finch went about opening the doors, letting it disperse a bit before grabbing the unconscious mayor and passing him off to his men. The guards were tossed in back and the windows fixed, leaving th casual onlooker to think that nothing was wrong.

"Good job boys, like a charm," Finch said to himself with a grin as the van screeched up, th men loading back onto th vehicle as they prepared for their daring escape. This had been easier than he would have thought. Presumably people were distracted, it happened (as he well knew).

Before going, he left a note on the front dashboard indicating himself as the one responsible, indicating that he would call soon with ransom demands, and leaving a red glass flower to accompany it. What was the point of an abduction if no one knew that you did it?

"Alright, let's go," he said to th driver, who nodded before pulling away on a course out of the parking garage with no one hopefully the wiser. So far so good, now it was time to prepare for the next stage of the plan
Were you going to do a heist of some sort for Finch still?

Yeah, I'll see what I can get up today
Some day Alicia will interact with people not affiliated with Beacon and not have it end in a fight
Alicia Hayden

Watching the boy transform, he ended up basically as Alicia expected that one of his kind would look like. She had seen stranger monsters in her time as a magical girl, so the horns and the tail weren't particularly unusual. The shield was more problematic, but since he was keeping it at his side for the moment she wasn't worried. Besides, she had a way t deal with that sort of thing when it came down to it.

As he walked she followed, stepping to the side to maintain that distance even as she tracked his motion. The term with the Z that he used was strange, but from context it was not hard to guess what he meant. She enjoyed the occasional compliment as the next person, but this was in a direction that she wasn't really a fan of.

He did mention some things that she had not seen. It sounded like the fight had attracted more attention than she had thought, though she supposed she should have been worried to hear how many people were at the event, with how things were for Beacon at the moment. If it was to see which side was stronger, then she was not sure that they had mad a good showing of that, and if that had hurt Beacon then she would not forgive herself.

"Because I wanted to know," she explained. "And yes, I am. I just don't feel like wasting my time in a fight when it isn't needed." She wasn't like the more radical members of the organization, though that should have been clear by now. If she was going to fight then she would have already been shooting. Of course she was unaware of Penny's imminent attack, and so had no quick response prepared. It seemed fate had chosen to determine her the fool after all.

@FlamelordIs It really a surprise that a god the destroys old thing want to destroy Beacon? He even mentioned it the first time he showed up.

I forgot. It's been a while and a different RP
Penny why :(

Man, Beacon really isn't going to survive this RP, with all the people gunning for it. I don't know what Alicia will do

Alicia waited calmly to see how the duo would respond to her statement. It was unfortunate that they had been discovered while they were in the middle of their investigation, otherwise things might have been more amicable. At the very least they would have had an appropriate response prepared based on how dangerous the duo seemed to be to normal humans. But there was nothing that could be done about it now, and they would just have to work out the situation as best they could.

But things seemed to be working out for a change, much to her surprise as one of the pair took her leave, walking away and leaving only the guy behind. Of course, he proved to be one of the types who could be very annoying, so she was going to need to hold onto herself more than ever. "You can't use semantics to dodge around the intent of what I said," she challenged. With Star Seraph manifested she took aim as he began to walk forward, a silent indicator for him to not get too close.

"How she became aligned with us is not your concern. But know that it is an exception which is unlikely to happen again." She wasn't sure how much he knew, but she was confident that the rumors about Penny working with Beacon didn't know all the facts. Normally she would have dismissed it as the rumor mill, at least, but with the familiar aura she couldn't do so that easily. "You were at the hospital during that attack," she noted. "See anything particularly interesting while you were watching?" Her bow lowered, but only slightly. She wasn't going to blindly trust him that quickly.

@BrokenPromise@Shifter_Master
@Flamelord You want to answer the Bates or should I have Penny speak up?

I can answer sure.
Seems fairly straightforward. I'm about ready to launch my evil plan, so I'll do that within a day or two
