The years behind me grow and become brighter whilst the years ahead shrink and become dimmer, providing me an excellent opportunity to use the word 'whilst'. Now I'm tired and can't think of anything else funny to say. Let's see, classy info dump should do. I am FlitterFaux this time around, I tend to get horribly busy (still am) and leave the guild sometimes for years at a time but I just can't stay away forever. I'm not awesome enough for advanced but fast paced one lining does not work for me either so casual is juuusst right. I'm a lady, possibly past 29 but don't ask which 29th birthday I'm at, I like rainbows which is good because they're hard to escape in Hawaii, I like fantasy and sci fi with liberal sprinklings of horror and drama, and I'm tired again. I'll finish the rest later. Edit: Whoa, whoa, whoa, hold the phone. I can start a private conversation... with myself!? Epic. Truly epic.

Aw, dammit... Don't want to see you go. I know thinhs have been slower lately and I'm trying to see where people are at right now. I'll talk with Az about what to do. Hate the idea of scuttling any of the progress we've made so far...

Anyone planning or working on a post? Waiting for others to go ahead before I post anything myself.
Thank you @hagroden for putting that together and posting it :3

Rough? Hectic? Do these two usually fight Grimm that size? Should I be at all surprised at this point? No, I should probably just be grateful.

"Glad to.. be in one piece. But I.. wouldn't survive another class like that. Not in this state. I'm lucky you and Bianca ended that as quickly as you did. I owe everyone a lot for covering me. I'm... sorry I didn't do so well.

She gratefully relaxed in the seat Ben had pulled close for her. Just sitting down felt amazingly good.

Skye somehow managed to stay focused enough to keep up with Ashe and their conversation following the ordeal in Grimm Studies. However, once her new friend departed for her own class it was as if all the energy Skye had left drained out of her all at once. Her eyes glazed over and her shoulders slumped and she began to walk towards where she thought her next class was. Her aura was fine as far as she could tell but physically she knew she was not okay. Her shoulder was healing but much slower than it should be, and she felt far too fatigued and sore for just a single fight lasting less than an hour. Not only that but everyone else had ended up having to help her; she had not held her own like she was supposed to. In the end she was lucky everyone else had been so competent.

She thought about everything she could have done better as she wandered closer to the physical education classroom, gradually correcting her directions by asking around. Eventually she found where she needed to be though she was a few minutes late. She noticed Luke and Ben talking together in their own corner of the gym and her spirits lifted. She walked over to the two of them and sat down nearby, quite relieved to finally be off her feet.

"Hello again, Luke, Ben. She inclined her head in a sort of informal bow towards the two of them.

The rest of Armory class was... interesting, in the sense that the general mood had shifted completely and everyone seemed very involved with their projects. In the end Annabelle opted to send Tiger back to wait for her rather than to show him off just yet. She decided she could always show Gren later, they were friends after all.

Oh well. We did get a lot of work done at least. But what was all that with Gren and Oz? What the heck happened out in that hallway? Woo! I sure have my work cut out for me to get this team out of the dumps! I sure hope our leader isn't too grumpy, that would be three spirits to lift and no backup cheer. My work never ends...

The very long walk to the surprisingly isolated survival class was fun at least, for the most part. The weird silences where Emerald and Oswald started withdrawing back into their heads were easy enough to break up with a bit of teasing and joking around.

Upon arrival at what she had to assume was the right place, judging from the very pretty welcome sign, Oswald brought her attention to the cupcakes. Seriously? This teacher is the best! It's even strawberry frosted... Are they homemade?

The treat was partway in her mouth and her tongue a hairsbreadth away from what was sure to be a heavenly experience when she froze in place for a moment. Perhaps it was the expression on Oswald's face, or his comment about calories that made her stop. But in the end she chose to believe her seventh sense was speaking to her again.

With a gentle poke to the big man's injured ribs she got him to open his mouth, and before he could start yelling at her she stuffed the entire cupcake into his face. She felt a pang of disappointment at missing out herself but it felt like the right thing to do. She stood fully facing Oswald now, leaning towards him and looking up at him. She smiled brightly at her tall teammate and reached up to gently pat his cheek.

"You're lucky I like you, Ozzie."
Aw, dammit. I once again did not properly put in my mentions. Please accept my apologies...

As she pretended to scan the crowd for a third person that was not Madock Holliday, Yrhen's full attention was on the boy behind her. She didn't need to see his face to know he was upset from her reaction. Who wouldn't be? Especially if he remembers that day in detail. Several months and hundreds of other customers may not be enough distance between us like I hoped.

She made it seem as if she was ignoring him as he pointed out that the recoil issue was brought up at the time, and that they would have been happy to make any changes then and there. Stars be damned, he remembers everything! He did say that, for sure... I just couldn't bring myself to ask at the time. She felt a sudden rush of blood to her face and quickly turned away from anyone close enough to see.

By the time she got her color back under control the Holliday boy had already excused himself. It was a relief and just what she had hoped would happen; but the mix of confused irritation and sad dissappointment in his voice was not lost on her. She felt a sharp pang of guilt which she had to spend the next half minute burying. With that ordeal over for now she went back to actually trying to find a third person, though she hoped Alex might have taken care of that on his own before-

It was too late. Professor Brovak called the time and even openly shamed those that had not formed a full team, and Alex was standing there alone, still her sole teammate. No... I'm such an idiot, I can't believe I just let this happen! Wait, maybe if I just grab Holliday fast eno- But that thought was cut short when she turned to see the boy she had just rejected already with another girl. She had to stop herself from physically recoiling when she saw that it was the pale girl she had noticed earlier. The one that looked perfectly normal and friendly otherwise. The one that still set her on edge.

She heard a name, Mat Harken, assigned to her and Alex and a sense of dread washed over her. Oh please, if the universe knows any mercy, don't let this be the worst case scenario. I don't care if I can't stand this Harken character, not anymore, just please don't let them be useless. She turned to the boy that had been decided for them and in just a few seconds of assessing him her face froze in a grimace.

Fuck you, universe.

Her hopes crashed down around her and she glared at the new boy in front of them as if this was somehow all his fault. He's scared. And he doesn't have a good handle on that fear would be my guess. A shiver went down her spine. There are few things more dangerously unpredictable than a scared human. This boy could get us killed or worse... She turned away from Mat with an openly digusted expression. She tried to calm down by focusing on Professor Brovak's instructions.

Fortunately, the new equipment that manifested in front of them was quite the distraction, as was the method of delivery. She had never seen magic used to make solid things like this appear, though she knew it was a simple thing for professional mages. Not only that but this was the first time she had ever held a semi automatic rifle, as they were rare and too expensive in the kind of places she had lived. She started gathering the harnesses and securing the uncomfortably tight things over her coat. She ground her teeth as they pinched in several places but she knew it couldn't be helped. The extra knife and revolver were a welcome addition as well since she didn't need to worry about how much weight was on her today. Taking her time to learn what she could about the new rifle her eyes narrowed and her movements slowed as the professor began to outline the details of their objectives.

Hunt... people? She did not succeed at fully disguising the shudder that went through her in that moment. We have to hunt down and survive against intelligent people using guns and magic. And we can't just run away, we have to fight over an objective. She stared at professor Brovak as his face visibly grinned under his extensive bandages and he continued talking. He then began a countdown with no other warning.

'Three,' Traps? On top of everything else?!

'Two,' We're all just applicants, we're not even students yet! Just what do you expect out of a bunch of clueless kids?!

'One.' Even I'm not ready to pull the trigger on another person just like that, and I've been killing to support our family for years!

The scenery abruptly vanished with a loud pop and a sickeningly uncomfortable and disorienting sensation throughout her entire body all at once. The shock was intense, she had never experienced teleportation before, and her stomach roiled. She clamped a hand over her mouth and closed her eyes, barely managing to not vomit.

He did warn me this would be harsh, didn't he? I guess I forgot, for a moment, the most important lesson i ever learned. This world is cruel.
Yep, alive and getting well :3 Plus one post I can put in now, just need to give it a once over for mistakes.
Appearance of Weapon: Ryusei appears to be a massive sword at first glance, with a silver white blade split down the middle and a very large and complex looking crossguard in dull gold and dark red. The blade is straight and approximately five feet long by itself with the rest of the weapon adding another two feet to its total length. The handle forms a rough T shape with each of the three ends being hollow tubes. A large simple diamond shaped block connects the handle, crossguard, blade, and various other systems.

Name of Weapon: Ryusei

Type of Weapon: Multipurpose, roughly classified as a combination heavy melee/cannon

Description: Ryusei is a very useful but very expensive weapon. It is also easy to use but difficult to master. At first glance it appears to be a giant sword with a magnetic cannon built into the blade. Ryusei does serve as either but it is primarily a weapon that enhances mobility in combat. Each end of the crossguard and handle fire bursts of vector thrust using fire Dust crystals, one crystal for each thruster. Depleted crystals can be ejected and replaced easily. Two rotating smaller thrusters powered by a single fire crystal usually stay pointed forward.

Eight pivoting grappling hook launchers, four to each side, can aim straight out to either side, forward, backward, or diagonally. The hooks are serrated blades that open to hook into an object or target and close to be retracted by the metal cable connecting it to Ryusei's core. Each cable is an impressive 60ft long for its thickness and can support the weight of the weapon and its user easily without snapping. The hooks can also pull targets that aren't too large into melee range.

The cannon functions almost entirely on a complex system reliant on gravity Dust. The 'barrel' is between the separated parts of the blade and both spins and accelerates an object between the blades for a brief moment after the cannon is fired. Though any hard object could be used as ammunition in an emergency the cannon works best with the metal spikes designed specifically for it. These spikes are fed into the launcher via cylinder usually but a single round can be loaded by hand into a gravity field that holds it in place prior to firing. When the trigger is pulled a powerful burst of gravity shoots the projectile into the 'barrel' which adds even more velocity.

Most of the weapon is infused with gravity Dust for the simple purpose of making Ryusri lightweight for easy use. The quality of the materials used to make Ryusei, the complexity of some of its parts, and the amount of gravity Dust used make the weapon especially expensive to manufacture. So far only one prototype exists.

(Apologies, this is a very rough description of the weapon, kinda poorly written and a lot of important details are left out. But that's what I get for trying to do this last minute :P)
Sounds like a solid preference for IC so.. yes.
Really bad shape right now, going back to sleep. Will catch up when a bit better
