Might take some pressure off Est too in regard to the time lapses if those scenes become an integrated apart of that, sort of an open welcome to those interested to summarize their major actions through side NPC's or throw away characters in small and/or fun little scenes~. @Estylwen At your final decision of course.

ooo also, just had a thought, but Soylant Green hasn't had much time in the limelight lately. Maybe a moment for Soylant, Mayor, Otto and other setting prominent NPC's to shine and discuss the effects of the latest/next game events on Nocturnia as a whole? Could just be short and sweet for anyone interested~. A snippet for them to muse on items such as "Why is my goddamn factory on fire" and the like ^_^.

Description: ‘Zeus’ is often found butting heads with Jackson. That's just how he is. Their arguments usually get so heated that it takes a race at top speeds through Heavy Crossguard and a winner to be decided for Zeus to finally simmer down.

Deep down, he has an extreme love for the gang of misfits. ‘Merc’ looks up to him like an older brother. ‘Akira’ invites him over for game nights all the time.

When it comes to business in the gang, Zeus is often the ‘area of effect' specialist. If there's a large crowd of people giving them trouble, he can ‘address the situation’ in a matter of seconds. He's also brilliant for scouting, and can cover a somewhat large area in a short period of time.

Description: It's true, ‘Akira' is known for cheating his way to number one whenever there's a race in the gang. But most of the others forgive him. Except ‘Zeus’, but Zeus always tries to take an issue with anyone.

It's actually a funny story how Akira got his nickname. This was back in the beginning days of the Wolves, when they were attempting to claim Heavy Crossguard for their own. The mafia leader at the time had the poor idea to challenge them in the open. Two seconds later, there was a rev of an engine as Akira and his red bike sailed into the leader, leaving nothing but a smear after.

Yes, he's the little hero of the gang, usually taking bold and reckless moves simply because he can finesse his way around most mistakes that would probably kill anyone else.

19 | She/her | The Embers/Mafia

Description: ‘Merc’ gained her way to fame in the gang as the daughter of the man who fixed the gang's bikes. One night, she heard a crash in the garage, and found enemies of the gang trashing the bikes. She moved without thinking, and set them all alight.

Word got to Jackson, who made her an official member the same day. Everyone knows how precious their rides are, after all. Everyone in the gang tries to shield Merc from the harsher realities of their life, but Merc not only embraces the darker side, she gets frustrated at their attempts to shield her. She's a Nocturnian, she says, and everyone in this city has dirt and grime on them.

When there's a fight, Merc is up there with Zeus, able to take down many enemies in quick effort. However, she is more often used as a last resort, as her gyft is so devastating.

Jesus Khor is going to have a time sitting all these kids down XD. I wouldn't at all be surprised if she ends up trying to mentor them somehow though hahaha. Super interested to see how Jackson and Khor would go once they meet. I feel like Khor would have some pretty scathing remarks but would ultimately leave him with something helpful in terms of reclaiming some essence of independence~.

Finally made a rule set for Khor's Gyft for dice rolls and cleared for postin'! If it's too much I have some rules I can restrict it with, for now it'll be in the hands of live fire testing lol.

Rules:

Khor Gyft Ruleset

Khor Gyft Rules

Khor can boost roll results provided they can feasibly react in time to an action and MUST be declared before Khor's roll. Boosts cannot exceed dice limit (D6 result 6 is always 6). Boosting rolls incurs exhaustion points according to the rating and number of boosts they perform. Too much boosting incurs penalties to Khor's consecutive dice rolls in the cycle. Exhaustion is reset to 0 provided 8 hours of rest is achieved IC.

Boost effects
1 - Light boost (Time slow) : + 1 to D6, +2 to D12, +3 to D20 rolls.
2 - Moderate boost (Time Stutter) : + 2 to D6, +4 to D12, +6 to D20 rolls.
3 - Heavy boost (Time freeze) : + 3 to D6, +6 to D12, +9 to D20 rolls.

Area exhaustion addition
1 - Self : Only khor gets bonus.
2 - Room/Vehicle : Khor + adjacent gets bonus.
3 - Building : Khor + all get bonus.

Exhaustion = 2 ^ (Boost lvl + Area lvl)
(Example: Khor uses a heavy boost{3} only on herself{1}, added together for {4}. The resulting exhaustion added is 2^{4} = 16.)

Exhaustion Point thresholds
25+ : -1 to D6, -2 to D12, -3 to D20 opposed rolls.
49+ : Incapacitation check at end of post, incapacitated on 0 or less result, pure D6 roll - 1 * every 10 exhaustion above 40.
74+ : -2 to D6, -4 to D12, -6 to D20 opposed rolls.
100+ : Immediate incapacitation. Lethality check at end of post, killed on 0 or less result, pure D6 roll - 1 * every 10 exhaustion above 100.

If incapacitated, Khor cannot oppose any roll made against her until next cycle.

They already went on lockdown. All the windows are steel/metal reinforced, guards are posted everywhere, etc... Khor or any of his group/members can come and interact though it's the night after Asterion got mowed down. Krish is probably still nerved up from speaking with Bella but he wouldn't be against talking to others but their will be a ton of caution since he's trying to heavily keep Asterion's state hidden/on the down low and so on.

If you want Khor or anyone to interact with Krish, we can do it, but I have no idea when the time-skip post will be posted or not, but we can still write a collab together and just make it a flash back scene at worst.

Fair fair~! Khor and crew are going to be very busy next post, so things will probably calm down or at least have adjusted a bit before a meeting.

A flashback could be really interesting! I can see Khor offering their services to Asterion a while back and seeing something of a reflection of themself in him. If we took that route it'd mostly just something along the lines of character development though, nothing cheesy like "and it turns out they were they were allied all along! woooooo spookyyy!" haha.

It definitely will. I honestly am not going to push too much with Asterion/the Kairo Empire because he's like dead and I really think Krish would buckle. Zarek might stand up. But they are really trying to be on the defensive because of Asterion's condition so I'll probably not really participate unless something is a direct threat/issue/request from someone else.

Qia and I were also in a collab trying to get Asterion semi-healed or in better condition but with this new development. I don't think that interaction would happen at all so I am speaking with Qia in DMs about possibly just scrapping the whole idea/what has been written out in the collab. We will see what happens.

Fair fair, if the Kairo Empire goes on lock down you might end up finding an ally in Khor ^_^. They've been meaning to get a better handle on what the Kairo Empire is about too~. Let me know if you'd be interested~! (If Khor's not available, there'll be an Akula or other party happy to represent Khor~.)
