I do agree with Yandere's sentiment that words not wording workingly do be a problem this time of year.

Scratch that, place your bets on polymarket.

Looks like I'll be working on memorial day weekend. And no, this does not mean place any bets on polymarket.

due to a typo on my part I was nearly convinced I owed the IRS nearly $3000 in excess taxes this year.

-There will be delays in replies. Largely due to working overtime, voluntary obligations; other RPs and online-things may compete for my attention.

'Bout me:
Started RPing (badly) back in '05, mostly doing nation-RPs with an emphasis on technology and strategy, later edging out to character-espionage and military-tactics before doing "less serious" character roleplays that were outside of the 2005-2008 continuity.

That's when I went to Dead-Frontier, and found the RP community there, joined a clan, did some pretty good roleplays and pretty much loosened-up my online-personality. When the clan-leader decided to move her RPs here, most of the clan followed.

Took a course in technical-writing back in '08, so now I may sometimes use the semicolon correctly.

In 2010 I dusted off the old nation-RP continuity I had, doing a few hetelia-esque RP-shenanigans there..

RP-Habbits: I tend to geek-out on little technical-details, and sometimes infer how those details would impact the background of the roleplay. Great for world-building, not so great when you had a perfectly good plotline and I just MacGyver it off the rails (though I usually er to the side of amusement, sometimes it creates very grim side-stories).

The conclusion we came to is "yes" Adrian knows about Miro forging legal-papers for GMGs.
At mention of taking a shower, Adrian sniffed the air, and noticed a very pungent odor had come with their newest 'guest'.

"I'd offer you one, but this place doesn't have any warm water, so unless you really don't mind a free-" Adrian started to explain the problem of a shower, suggesting a very adamnt "Hell no" to her sleeping here smelling like that planned for afterwards, but which never came before Joslyn interrupted him.

"Shower first, I am not about to let you stink up my living space," Joslyn interjected, "There is a gym that I go to to use the showers, thankfully they do not question it. I will take you there, have you bathe, and then you are welcome to sleep here while I go to work or whatever." Once she finished speaking, she threw a look over to Adrian, wondering if he would have any objections to what she had just said, not that it really mattered in her mind since she had already decided on a course of action.

"Well, in that case. I have a car. If our friend doesn't mind sitting in the back-seat, we can get there a bit faster and with less hassle." Adrian offered, knowing he was going to probably stuff a metric-ton of car-fresheners in the back after this. Still would beat walking, especially since he was pretty sure a patrol would be sweeping through.

"I'm all for it... Can I drive?" While she did not have a liscense due to who and what she was, she had trained herself to drive using vehicles she had stolen over the past year, so she really wasn't all that bad. "Oh... If I am going to work for you, aren't I going to need a photo ID of some sort that states I am at least 21? I know a guy who can make one for me if you want." As she spoke, she started to steer Joy out of her apartment and towards the outdoors.

You can navigate. Adrian responded as he led the way to his car, not trusting an Joslyn to drive more due to the fact that she'd just drunk half his flask than to being too young.

The car was an old gray 4-door sedan with a slowly rusting undercarriage, it creaked and even seemed to sag slightly as the three of them piled-in, Joslyn and Adrian in front, leaving Joy to have the entire backseat to sprawl-out on.
-Picks up book from tower-

Title: "How to train your raptor"

-steals this book-
@Foster
Y'all can take it to PMs if you'd like.
I think we've been in transit-limbo long enough. This evening we will continue the story.

The question is, should we include you?

Darklight included.

As the PMs may turn into a massive hot-springs episode of questionable continuity
So wait, you're saying if I went with the kit, I could've had a combat-capable scream-raptor at no additional cost?
Should we move it to messages?

I dunno....

And is Sarah going to be firing with her own two hands?

If the scene gets drawn-out in further detail I don't think Ari would appreciate the delay it would put on the rest of the RP.
-Plus content that may or may not be fit to post. I'm keeping that option open.

If she does, and Aristo sez "no", that scene can be chalked-up as non-canon fan-fiction using our own characters.

Who else wants in on these shenanigans?
<Snipped quote by Aristo>
No mixed bathing.

Also, @Foster, who is best girl and why is it Laura?

Speaking of boob-shots, I also suppose Maxwell's attention may be focused uhhh...elsewhere

If it was Laura, it would be because naked wrestling for unfair advantage.

I'd vote for team Lingyin/Charlotte.
...

Mellowlink/VOTOMS never had a hot-springs episode...

Or a happy-ending, come to think of it.

>Was going to mention something about boob-shots.
BTW, Darklight/Kat raised an interesting point:

3 to 1 girl to boy ratio.
32, 24, 20, 26, 26, 28
45, 21

Marlene is still the youngest.
-Haven't seen Oliver King much.

Cecelia and Max being the two oldest.
-The second oldest and youngest girls being the next-up in command (Sarah and Alyssa).

So much like Shock and AWE.
-Should totes designate an unwilling harem in a mecha-school non-canon side-story.
Marlene grimaced and wheezed as Sarah gave her one of her infamous hugs, but smiling through the pain since she knew it meant she managed to crawl out of her funk; still not sure what put her in a bad mood, though.

"Well, I only de-forested this side of the ship, the other side is still fair-game." Marlene laughed, pointing at the veranda leading to the other side of the ship. Although Sarah was already starting to show-off when she let-loose a short-burst that completely sealed herself winning her own bet.

"For you, it only counts if you shoot it free-handed." She blustered in response as she went after her, somewhat taken-aback by how quick she'd gone from feeling low, to embracing the little pleasures aboard the ship fully and completely.

[May or may not time-skip here of the duo spending a good portion of the night chasing each other around the ship and shooting the shit out of some poor defenseless trees; if no-skip.... PMs?]
