I do agree with Yandere's sentiment that words not wording workingly do be a problem this time of year.

Scratch that, place your bets on polymarket.

Looks like I'll be working on memorial day weekend. And no, this does not mean place any bets on polymarket.

due to a typo on my part I was nearly convinced I owed the IRS nearly $3000 in excess taxes this year.

-There will be delays in replies. Largely due to working overtime, voluntary obligations; other RPs and online-things may compete for my attention.

'Bout me:
Started RPing (badly) back in '05, mostly doing nation-RPs with an emphasis on technology and strategy, later edging out to character-espionage and military-tactics before doing "less serious" character roleplays that were outside of the 2005-2008 continuity.

That's when I went to Dead-Frontier, and found the RP community there, joined a clan, did some pretty good roleplays and pretty much loosened-up my online-personality. When the clan-leader decided to move her RPs here, most of the clan followed.

Took a course in technical-writing back in '08, so now I may sometimes use the semicolon correctly.

In 2010 I dusted off the old nation-RP continuity I had, doing a few hetelia-esque RP-shenanigans there..

RP-Habbits: I tend to geek-out on little technical-details, and sometimes infer how those details would impact the background of the roleplay. Great for world-building, not so great when you had a perfectly good plotline and I just MacGyver it off the rails (though I usually er to the side of amusement, sometimes it creates very grim side-stories).

Chartose was too busy making sure he kept all his possessions about him when the giantess roughly picked him up. He stared-back at what he was expecting to be the jealous expressions of Beran, Torrin, and Hinkley; only to see their mortification of his fate. The thought of him being held against his will hadn't crossed his mind until the collar was firmly placed around his waist. He was quick enough to notice that despite not being a caretaker of animals, she had an impressive large assortment of shackles before being chained-up to the proverbial fence-post in the middle of the yard.

He heard her roughly laid-out plans for him, and had a question; not exactly directed towards her, but it was the first and probably only chance he would have to ask it: "Your leader, Ihleen. She said some voice of the winds told her we were coming even before we knew for ourselves. Any idea how this informant could predict such things?" He asked, although 'magic' was a likely and simple answer, he was hoping for some idea whether this 'voice' had anything to do with causing their detour away from the gates of Fridgemount.

When left alone, he knew the giantess still had a clear line of sight on him from inside her cottage. The idea of the shackles being enchanted or encrusted with null-stones had crossed his mind, and if-so he'd probably want to try at some point to pick the lock with his spear-point. But first he tested his magic by summoning Becker to help him watch-over the rams as he wondered how his captor could sound so sure of themselves that they'd be away for so long.

The chain would prove a great nuisance, as he had to take great care not to cross the path of the mammoths, lest the chain catch on them and he be dragged underfoot, it was also heavy and cumbersome. He assumed it was also quite cold, but blessedly could not feel its biting chill about his waist as he watched the red sunset fade and he allowed Becker to return back to the inn in Green Fall.
Endre blushed, feeling somewhat ashamed that she still was not used to his rather unique affections.

Eventually, he managed just enough courage to give her an answer. Not just any answer she would have liked to hear, but the truth: "Because I wanted you to get used to it." He said quietly.

"Why would you want me to get used to it?"

"Do you want me to stop?" Endre asked, teasing her.

She shifted around, a bit unsure of how to respond, "I don't know... it's kinda nice but if you are only doing it to get me used to it, and that's it... maybe you should stop?"

The half-elf stopped rubbing, again, "But, don't you think you've earned it?"

Azura made a face and shrugged her shoulders, "I don't know, I haven't done much of anything as First Elder other than try to secure our people's safety."

"No, not that. Someone you can call a loyal friend instead of servant." as his fingers began to glide up from Azura's thigh to her face, "Or, if you'll allow it, more than a friend?" Endre at this point was trying to read the finer points in her posture, and facial-expression.

Azura silently thanked the gods once again that Endre couldn't see her blushing in the dark, beneath her blue fur even as he touched her warm cheeks, "The fur doesn't bother you?

"Do my smooth hands bother you?" He asked, hoping she'd say they weren't, despite what he was doing with them.

"Well, we aren't exactly able to choose the way that we are born can we?" Azura replied as she leaned her face into his hand slightly.

"No, we can't." He answered as he drew Azura's face in closer to his and kissed it; "but we don't hold that against each other." he said as he kissed her a second time, under her muzzle, leading-up to a third one on her neck.

"Well... no..." she replied on a higher pitch, "Um... what are you... doing?"

Endre didn't say anything as he was too busy kissing as his deft left hand worked up from inside Azura's thigh around to her back, then suddenly stroked the base of her tail. His right hand left Azura's face and combed behind one of her ears as it inched dangerously close towards her bra-strap.

"I'm doing what I want." Endre stated quietly into Azura's ear as he took a soft breath of fresh air.

"H-hey! Not the tail! How many times do I need to tell you that?" Azura demanded, swatting at Endre's hand a little, "You... um... why are you..." Out of embarressment, she hid her face in the Elf's neck and bit into his shoulder, though not hard enough to hurt him.

Endre's hand went up to scratch the back of Azura' neck, and tugged her scarf loose until it fell off onto the floor as he noticed she was getting a little hot under the collar, his other hand obeyed Azura's wishes for the time being and his fingers danced and glided along her spine as he kicked his boots off.

But then as the elder bit into his shoulder, the half-elf wasn't sure of his actions, he felt as though she was on the verge of tears as it was quite possible she couldn"t handle all this attention, "You're awfully warm all of a sudden. Are you feeling alright?" He asked, showing for a brief moment geniune concern as he tried to soothe her nerves... by continuing to do exactly what he was already doing...

"You know damn well I am not used to all this affection," she murmured, releasing his shoulder and giving the area she bit a tentative lick, "I'm just nervous, and not at all sure what to do with this." Frowning, she simply rested her head on his shoulder and tilted her ears back, her tail wrapping around one of Endre's arms. She had no idea what the male was up to, nor had she expected to end up in the situation she was now considering she had only planned to have a conversation with him.

Endre gave Azura a slight squeeze, a tiny hug as she licked his shoulder, "Well, we could go at your pace. But then we'd have died of old age before getting this far." He began to suggest, before doubling-back on his helpfulness by making light of how much progress they'd made in one night.

He then noticed her tail enthralled around one of his arms, beckoning for his attention, "We could just lay here for the night, see what happens." He said, giving her majesty a kiss on the forhead as his fingers brshed the end of Azura's tail as it came within reach, figuring Azura's pace may not be so slow as to be intollerable after-all. Although to speed things up just a bit, his other hand did manage to unbutton the clasp on Azura's bra.

"No more articles of clothing are to be stolen tonight," she said as she gave him a playful glare, her arms moving up so she could cover herself, "Though I guess I could stay the night if you really want me to. It is kinda nice to be close to someone when I sleep, seems less lonely anyway." The tip of Azura's tail playfully smacked at Endre's hand after he had stroked it.

-This part of the roleplay intentionally left blank-

Endre woke-up late that morning, having long-since forgotten that he was to help Kharlee remodel the store earlier. Instead, more pressing matters drove him to act today. His talks had kept Kharlee from siding with the rebels, and they would stay in Azura's good graces -with benefits- for the time-being. But all it would take was for one associate to bring trouble into their lives...

So that afternoon he set-out, he set-out to check the backgrounds of everyone who worked with Kharlee, everyone she offered to help. Even despite her less than sociable demeanor, the list was quite extensive.

That afternoon he spied their normal delivery-person. Cass, was it? They were moving swiftly through the city as any good courier should, but Endre had a bit more experience in that field from his younger, far less prosperous days by making things meet in far less moral ways.
I guess I'm waiting for AtomicNut to post.

Which means they have until Wednesday to post if they expect a reply this month.
Adrian sighed, it wasn't even his turn to serve drinks and this one person orders not one drink, but four, all at once... on top of that, they threatened his establishment... He didn't even know where to start with how rude this person was as he looked over his shoulder to see Miro's familiar if baffled facial-expression on the other side of the bar with Jossie. Perfect.

"Jossie! Six shots shots of whiskey!" He shouted over the din of the bar, loud enough even for Miro to hear.

Joslyn looked up and around for a moment after getting over the fact that Miro was in Adrian's bar. She had not seen the male since the last time she had needed identification and had told him that she would be fine on her own. "As you can see, the Boss is over at the bar," she said, "Take a minute to collect yourself while I go get him and take care of the whiskey order he just shouted my way." With a smile, she trotted off to the bar and hip checked Adrian on her way, stopping long enough to whisper in his ear that Miro was looking for him.

In the mean time, she made quick work of the whiskey shots and set them down in front of the person she assume ordered them. "Hey Adrian, is it common for so many people to come in during the afternoon? I thought bars were more of a night establishment." As she spoke, she trained her eyes on the robed figure and squinted into the folds, a small smile gracing her lips when she caught a bit of their features. To a normal person, nothing would have been distinguishable, but she wasn't exactly normal was she?

Adrian kept out of Jossie's way, but did not move to avoid her obviously placing a hand around his hip as she glided a few quick words past his ear and finished making-up his order. He took one shot for himself and quickly downed it as he slid four of them Lyn's way and held the last one all to itself for Miro as he watched Jossie give a faint smile in recognition of both her guests.

"I think we're just about on the same page now. Do try not to raise a fuss." He said to the rude patron as he smiled broadly and stood up to walk away, taking the money and the last shot with him over to Miro. Nodding to Jossie that afternoons were often busy enough to stay open for.

"I see you have met our newest staff-member, Miro." He boomed, as he sat-down and slid the whiskey towards his old friend. "I may have a little job for you, I'm fixing-up one of the nearby apartment-complexes and could use some retired muscle with anger-issues to help with remodeling."

He pulled a small wad of twenties out and slid them across the table, "As usual, the pay is reasonable."

Just because your character met Joy... who you just met that morning... and mistook her for a boy... does not make you instantly able to recognize all her friends.

If you're lucky, Lyn could introduce you.
<Snipped quote by Foster>

I had thought they were acquaintances, as Kokushi stated before they knew eachother.

Kokushi also stated that Joslyn hadn't been around men before.

Is Miro not a man?
<Snipped quote by Cherry_Shield>

Pretty sure the one tending tables is Joslyn (Kokushi).

And the one Miro met at the junkyard was Joy.

Joslyn (Cherry) is ordering a fistful of whiskey.
Actually you're threatening... er... yeah, you're threatening Adrian.

Meanwhile, Miro appears to have met Jossie... just not all dressed up?
Well, over the weekend I found a job and just finished my first day today. Now that my employment woes are out of the way, I should be free to post more often. I'll be writing my post up tonight.

Funny. I find that time available to post usually worked the other way around.

Oh, and won't be able to post on the next few weekends. Shit be needing to get done and moved.
