I do agree with Yandere's sentiment that words not wording workingly do be a problem this time of year.

Scratch that, place your bets on polymarket.

Looks like I'll be working on memorial day weekend. And no, this does not mean place any bets on polymarket.

due to a typo on my part I was nearly convinced I owed the IRS nearly $3000 in excess taxes this year.

Bio

-There will be delays in replies. Largely due to working overtime, voluntary obligations; other RPs and online-things may compete for my attention.

'Bout me:
Started RPing (badly) back in '05, mostly doing nation-RPs with an emphasis on technology and strategy, later edging out to character-espionage and military-tactics before doing "less serious" character roleplays that were outside of the 2005-2008 continuity.

That's when I went to Dead-Frontier, and found the RP community there, joined a clan, did some pretty good roleplays and pretty much loosened-up my online-personality. When the clan-leader decided to move her RPs here, most of the clan followed.

Took a course in technical-writing back in '08, so now I may sometimes use the semicolon correctly.

In 2010 I dusted off the old nation-RP continuity I had, doing a few hetelia-esque RP-shenanigans there..

RP-Habbits: I tend to geek-out on little technical-details, and sometimes infer how those details would impact the background of the roleplay. Great for world-building, not so great when you had a perfectly good plotline and I just MacGyver it off the rails (though I usually er to the side of amusement, sometimes it creates very grim side-stories).

Well, we still need could use a sniper.

One that doesn't leave a big firing-signature and can get into hard to reach places.

Also: @DarkStar

Sarah! Come glomp Aristo and don't let go until they post something!

As Richard was wrapping up his sentence, he narrowed his eyes to get a better look at the girl running right for him. When he finally recognized her, his face stretched into a pearly grin before being smothered in her grip.

"Srhr!" he muffled into her chest. Sarah had evidently returned from a period of personal leave, and with little notice save for a bear hug to mark her arrival.

Some of us have waited awhile for this.
It already happened.

At least, that's another viewpoint.

A trippy one, but still...
>Insert over-dramatic chibies of ourselves lamenting on thread

<Katushya goes to fetch her recoilless rifles

That or ShPG-N... totally not a ship-gun... for shipping...
*fires warning shot at the dispatch tower*

Also tempted to paste an image where two pilots doubled-up to threaten the dispatch-officer for clearance, but it seems a tad wordy and too easy to lose the context of their friendly belligerance.

And we've already been scolded by dispatch for being belligerent.

Also, huge amounts of info in Spooki's bio... totally not going to be obviously jealous...

Also, looks like there's a second guy to pull some of the flak off of 'Lil Rooster.
For those that are presently with us, I'd like to get sheets wrapped up around next Wednesday, the 25th. Then IC preparations and maybe a start can roll out over that weekend.

Aristo, you know we love you and all, buuuuut....

Lazy but awesome.
No, I meant this, glorious thing.
>Internally debating whether or not to lock Spooki and Pugbutter in a cave to argue over life, the universe, and everything.
Y'all have some seriously eloquent sass going on, you know that?

It's what separates us apart from the beastmen.
@The book of bad juju
Quoting of others to say something that has already been said is sometimes done for poetic, or rather a e s t h e t i c reasons, and usually does not imply cowardice in the slightest.
-What it does intone, is that such a view is shared by another, more highly regarded individual. Not a bad thing to do in a persuasive speech.

Anyways, thanks for your concern, but I think we've got things hashed-out to a peaceable series of agreements.

I have a feeling that if our characters are even half as passionate of their views ICly as we are OOCly, some interesting sparks are going to fly in the dialouge. Because 'Merricuh.
-Pretty much a firm believer that the strength of any RP lies in the energy behind character-interactions.
