I do agree with Yandere's sentiment that words not wording workingly do be a problem this time of year.

Scratch that, place your bets on polymarket.

Looks like I'll be working on memorial day weekend. And no, this does not mean place any bets on polymarket.

due to a typo on my part I was nearly convinced I owed the IRS nearly $3000 in excess taxes this year.

Bio

-There will be delays in replies. Largely due to working overtime, voluntary obligations; other RPs and online-things may compete for my attention.

'Bout me:
Started RPing (badly) back in '05, mostly doing nation-RPs with an emphasis on technology and strategy, later edging out to character-espionage and military-tactics before doing "less serious" character roleplays that were outside of the 2005-2008 continuity.

That's when I went to Dead-Frontier, and found the RP community there, joined a clan, did some pretty good roleplays and pretty much loosened-up my online-personality. When the clan-leader decided to move her RPs here, most of the clan followed.

Took a course in technical-writing back in '08, so now I may sometimes use the semicolon correctly.

In 2010 I dusted off the old nation-RP continuity I had, doing a few hetelia-esque RP-shenanigans there..

RP-Habbits: I tend to geek-out on little technical-details, and sometimes infer how those details would impact the background of the roleplay. Great for world-building, not so great when you had a perfectly good plotline and I just MacGyver it off the rails (though I usually er to the side of amusement, sometimes it creates very grim side-stories).

<Snipped quote by Foster>

1. Actually no, they aren't. They are facing two teams of four enemies (with two already dead) at the moment.

2. Maybe I should have said it before, but the fact that you located the whole enemy team on your previous post without asking anything about their positions was kind of close to godmodding since I only mentioned one sniper on the 1st post, not their whole team.

However, because, I didn't say anything in a timely manner, I couldn't ask you to edit it, much less punish you retroactively by voiding your post. I had her ran into a team (the sniper and spotter), but not the whole enemy team since there's no way to know if a team is two, three, or four men for sure until you get some kills.

3. She could understandably think that they were the whole team, I suppose.

4. That said, I can totally add more enemies if you want. It'll not be a bother at all, really.

1. Only two teams?
-Well, actually I just added an entire random squad to fend-off (hopefully I was allowed to do that, right?), since it was impled to be a bit of a frenzy. Plus, I knew the distance to the sniper was likely too far to make a successful flanking manuver before contacting yet another enemy force.

2/3. Not necessarilly the same one (if it was, it'd have been missing their sniper, and thus not a squad-wipe). She assumed it was the same squad since she had no knowledge of a spotter.
-I also only stated to make "a few good hits, probably" [albeit worded much more confidently] due to the shear volume of fire in close quarters. Not necesarilly killing-shots, but most likely they'd be seeking cover and/or in-game medical attention for a randomized amount of wounds.

4. I'm tempted to agree to more enemies, but I'm sure @Massasauga would hit me with a rolled-up manga if I did.
+I'm going to agree to more enemies anyways, though. Just to cement home that Clem ran into a moment of passing the brown trousers.
++Would a total of 15, including our own, be a reasonable number of players spawned at the assembly?
(I'm fine with numbers as high as 24 spawned into each location, actually)

Other:
Corpses are "immortal-objects" that cannot take further damage due to excessive dismemberment issues in previous games, right? If so... a smart opponent could've thrown a corpse over a grenade.
@Kuroyomihime
Entire last paragraph: Underslines for emphasis and strikethrough-substitutions added for clarity of action/intent: Parts in [Brackets] were not part of original post.
While flanking the sniper [Known enemy last known location] from the right, she had run across the rest of the sniper's team trying likewise to work Kiss❤Shot's flank, here, she whipped her dual RPDs up and ready and sprayed from the hip, driving the group scrambling for cover as she managed to get more than a few good limb-hits with her 7.62x39 machine-guns. "Clem" She grunted in an uncharacteristicly gruff tone as she tossed a hand-grenade behind a scrap pile and retreated [to cover] to evade any counter-nades [or return fire].

But tagging the sniper/spotter team instead of engaging a possible 3rd/4th enemy team is actually fine by me if things turned out that way, it's really just a nitpick. Since it seemed as though some of that post was a reaction to it seeming too easy for the group.

Since by Clem's count, in addition to your reply, GSRT is facing between nine to twelve active hostiles from across four opposing teams. And her focus is mostly on suppression and damage-control [they're at risk of getting steamrolled on their right flank harder than that halftrack-crew in the video] long enough for her team-mates to get out of the killzone.

Once clear, Megumi may use explosion-magic to her heart's content.

Also, kudus for not letting my team off easy. Been awhile since I've had to RP 20:1 long-odds.
To his credit, Pat Quinlan didn't lose a single man. He was ultimately reprimanded for saving his men.
-Kinda grateful about knowing how to RP being deaf.
What else would prove to not be as easy as it first seemed to be was the situation of Team GSTR. While Leadsinger would find her journey out of the Mill an easy one, thanks to the lack of nearby opposition, her allies would have a much rougher time than they thought.

Pretty much the opposite of this is happening:

Also, pretty sure I mentioned a meeting-engagement while en-route to protect the flank, and not engaging the sniper with grenades.
(unless the sniper was busy repositioning, and I just happened to stumble into them)
Banned for not thinking, earlier; resaulting in this ban-chain.

Ergo, double-banned for banning people contributing to the ban chain you yourself started.
