-There will be delays in replies. Largely due to working overtime, voluntary obligations; other RPs and online-things may compete for my attention.
'Bout me:
Started RPing (badly) back in '05, mostly doing nation-RPs with an emphasis on technology and strategy, later edging out to character-espionage and military-tactics before doing "less serious" character roleplays that were outside of the 2005-2008 continuity.
That's when I went to Dead-Frontier, and found the RP community there, joined a clan, did some pretty good roleplays and pretty much loosened-up my online-personality. When the clan-leader decided to move her RPs here, most of the clan followed.
Took a course in technical-writing back in '08, so now I may sometimes use the semicolon correctly.
In 2010 I dusted off the old nation-RP continuity I had, doing a few hetelia-esque RP-shenanigans there..
RP-Habbits: I tend to geek-out on little technical-details, and sometimes infer how those details would impact the background of the roleplay. Great for world-building, not so great when you had a perfectly good plotline and I just MacGyver it off the rails (though I usually er to the side of amusement, sometimes it creates very grim side-stories).

I pretty much expect that if I enter any roleplay or 1x1 that the other person will ghost. I do the same occasionally too so I know I'm at fault, but sometimes life gets in the way and well... RP is only a passtime for me
After awhile, you figure out how to un-ghost a person and revive an RP...even if it has been dormant for half a decade.

I'm trying to search for a roleplay partner, everything seems marked in 18+. I'm just 14! This causes me to make my own RP-intrest check and that's not marked 18+ either.
Oh well, does anybody have an answer to why there are so much mature+ themes?
1. In a certain large english-speaking country, there's a law regulating online corrispondance between people over 18 years, and those under that age. This is despite [and takes precedence over] the age of consent being around 16 in most places [give or take 2 years].
2. People sometimes don't got no filter. Exposing minors to... content their parents obviously may not approve of... resaulting with an awkward meeting with the roleplayer's parents' lawyers and threats of getting extradited to another country's [argueably harsher] legal system.
3. Less likely to get 'fixated' by the smut [since smut is everywhere] so more likely to focus on a story/plot.
4. See point 1... you'd be in triple-deep shit for trying to actually meet each other in person.
Doesn't matter how horny the minor is, them's the laws. Lewdness between minors is allowed, tho... for some reason.
