Well you don't really need to be traveling through the woods, it is just preferred.
But maybe she gets knocked out and wakes up in the woods outside the mansion, or opens a door in one building and finds herself in the mansion. Just a couple ideas.

if we did that it would ruin some of the concept of the roleplay I already have fully planned out Framing, and would also make the concept of the multiple forms somewhat useless, among other ideas I had planned out throughout the roleplay, eventually (depending on how well they do in their second class) they will be able to sustain long timed summons like keeping their summon in it's chibi form with them. I have a lot of things pre-planned Framing.

the ritual itself takes a lot to begin with, and their supplies do constantly drain aslong as the summon is with them, it's basically like a leech on your energy, which is why Oni said they could only handle Channeled form currently, because it uses the less magical supply, each form takes a different amount of magic to use and sustain. the summon returns to where they came from, so for elementals back to their elemental plane.
