Alright, uh... Well, since I'll be heading off in a bit anyhow, let's get the evaluations out of the way.

@LotusWarrior:

• Hrm. well, for one, I'd rather not have magitech in the RP, because then it sorta crosses the boundary as the series puts it (no pun intended) and pushes it into pseudo sci-fi territory. It's... Strange, to say the least. I mean, I know that one character in the series uses a weapon that does that sort of thing, but having multiple ones stocked...
  Plus having to compete with others because, you know, only one stone drops per enemy, and coming into conflict because no speaking...
  Yeah...
• Grammatical errors aside, 'American youmu hunting' sounds... Silly. I would like to think that there isn't one generalized fighting style, considering how every clan essentially has its own unique abilities. But I digress.
• Okay, that ability? Too multipurpose for my liking. 20 foot attack/defense radius on a physical and spiritual level, healing, flight, and so on and so forth... A bit too much in one pack for my liking. The limits thereof are also not defined, which... Worries me. Tuning heavily recommended, in this case.

As for @VitaVitaAR...

• Hrm... Well, while I have no issues with using images for appearance, I'd still like some more side details to supplement it. Height, hair color, eye color, notable features that aren't explicitly stated... You know, that sorta thing.
• Onmyodo is a fine basis for abilities, but I do have to ask if she can just pop any old ream of paper. Like... Computer/copy paper? Looseleaf? Any benefits/weaknesses of using certain materials? Things like that.
• So... What happened to her parents? Orphaned? Killed? What?
• How big is that duffel bag you speak of?

Appearance: Standing at an unimposing 5'9" with his scruffy brown hair, most people probably wouldn't peg Daichi as anything more than a background character. His clothing is fairly unassuming, as well; in that regard, he's fairly difficult to pick out in a crowd... So long as you choose to ignore the fact that he's almost always wearing a sports visor with a picture of some sort of anime character on it, regardless of the time, season, or weather. Nobody's really sure how big his collection is, but he's never worn the same one twice over the course of a year... If that means anything.
Personality: A relatively laid-back and lax individual, Daichi's never really worried much about his life as a whole. It wasn't as if everything was served to him on a silver platter, but his family's history and seemingly limitless resources have allowed him to breeze through a lot of things in life without much trouble. Of course, that also meant that he's had to step up and take responsibility for many of the goings-on of the town. In a sense, he's been kind of pushed into taking up his family mantle and lead the clan for the future. He is by no means a leader of any sort and doesn't necessarily have the courage to face danger head-on, but he's resolved to step up to it...

Abilities: Has the ability to create clouds of fog, which can then be subsequently used to generate electricity. This electricity can't be controlled, but it can be amplified or diminished and can be restricted to certain areas within the clouds, if at all. He cannot amplify a charge to a point to where it can effectively mimic an actual lightning strike, though; the worst he can really only give humans are second degree burns and temporary paralysis for about ten seconds. This is done in short bursts within the fog itself, and not by means of continuous shocks to the body. Of course, prolonged exposure will damage and eventually kill, but...
History: Serving as the heir to the Kawamoto clan, Daichi's upbringing has been one of careful balance. While he has been given a fair amount of freedom growing up, Daichi has also been more or less forced to be acquainted with every family- past, present, and future- that lives in the town. It's been drilled into his head that he'll have to be a community leader in the future, but for now he's fine with just doing his job as it stands and relaxing while he still can.
Other: Allowance? What's an allowance? The only money he's allowed to spend is what he earns, which means youmu hunting is essentially his part-time job.

The town of Tsukihari, located in Yamanashi Prefecture just to the west of Tokyo, isn't exactly what you'd call 'active'; it's a relatively suburban area that, while not off the beaten path, is still slowly growing in size. Established in the years following World War II, it's what people would generally come to expect a normal township to look like. In many ways, that's true...

But, like a lot of places these days, it's home to its own group of Ikaishi, or 'Spirit World Warriors' as they're known outside of Japan. These Ikaishi exist to keep the youmu- spiritual creatures borne of the negative emotions of humankind- from wreaking havoc upon the populace. But that's not to say that's all that these Ikaishi do; after all, they're simply humans, but... Special, to put it one way or another.

Which brings us to now. Be it as a new person moving into the town or as one whose family is ingrained into its history, you are an Ikaishi of Tsukihari who works to keep the balance of the town in check. This is your story, and though each life is different, many remain intertwined.
Now, how will yours end up?

Glossary

Ikaishi (Spirit World Warrior)- A person with the capability to see (and fight) youmu. Their supernatural abilities stem from their lineage and vary from family to family; some more complicated abilities require some minor setup, but most do not.

Youmu- Usually originating from humanity's of negative feelings, most youmu actually coexist peacefully with humans, often not doing them much harm, if at all. They're also invisible to the naked eye, meaning that a majority of the populace cannot see them. While they are usually docile (and occasionally aid humans), those that become aggressive become a threat to society and, as a result, are hunted by Ikaishi. Youmu come in all shapes and sizes, but a very key thing to note is that all youmu drop a 'youmu stone' upon death; these stones can be traded in for money via official appraisers. The value of these stones varies wildly depending on the strength of the youmu killed.

Appraiser- A person that appraises youmu stones for a living. These are who the Ikaishi go to in order to obtain money for a kill... Essentially.

Spirit World Warriors Society- A group that keeps track of Ikaishi, their registration, major events, and keeps records of youmu. Think of it as the group that keeps everything orderly, in a sense.

Anti-Human Wards- Appearing as little metal sticks with a green flame lit at the end of them, these tools are usable by all Ikaishi and related personnel. They use a form of subconscious redirection to steer people away from a location; their power varies depending on the power of the user, but can be amplified by those other than the user.

Cleaners- People who clean up after the inevitable mess that occurs after Ikaishi take down a youmu. They're a necessary existence,but mostly don't come to light; they're there to keep the whole situation(s) under wraps. In essence, they're the janitorial crew that clean up after your messes and cover for you in case people start getting curious.

Rules

1. No half-youmu, alright? They're explicitly stated to be rare, and Akihito's more or less one of the only ones in existence. I mean, everyone should be an Ikaishi anyhow (since normal humans can't do much other than treat this like a SoL on the off-chance that the rest of the players are doing their thing).
2. I'll be handling usage of major NPCs (such as those involved in appraisal, major story-developing characters, etc;), but minor NPCs can be used by whoever, whenever. This includes youmu, by the way.
3. Generally, families will specialize in terms of abilities; no doubling up on those. Also, no over-the-top broken abilities. Jealousy is a green-eyed monster, after all. Youmu as pets are a rare occurrence, so bear that in mind. Maybe one or two, at most, can have something. Small. Maybe.
4. No powerplaying/godmodding. Standard fare.
5. No Sues/Stus. Also standard fare.
6. PG-13. If two characters develop a relationship, then that's A-OK. If you want them to take it to the next step, to PMs you GO.
7. Max 3 characters per RPer; having them be from different families is advisable, but not mandated. You know, just to have variety.
8. The RP begins in late July, right after school ends for students and summer break begins. Bear that in mind so that, unless you've got a damn good reason for doing so, you're not doing something stupid like wearing a down jacket to the beach.
9. Even though youmu and most abilities are invisible to those unaware of supernatural existences, not all of them (in either case) are. Bear that in mind if you're about to rip through half a building or something. You can still damage the world around you, so letting loose all the time isn't advisable.

Massive Multiversal Crossover

Gintoki

Wiping the sweat from his brow as the current wave of mooks had been dealt with, Gintoki brushed off his clothes and checked his bokuto over carefully for any signs of damage; though it was nowhere near likely that it'd break, the chance still remained that it might, and without anything to replace it with being readily available...

"Alright, no cracks, just lots of blood. Good to know." he breathed, a hint of relief present in his voice as he leaned against the wall. Well, human mob tactics only worked so well. Just going through the motions now, right?

Just as he let down his guard a little, though, he noticed a figure steadily approaching his position. A friend? A foe?
...
A little girl.

"...O-oi. This ain't right." he sighed, shaking his head. The child in front of him was wielding two blades, it seemed, but... Letting her roam free around the mansion at a time like this? "Hey, kid! It's dangerous here! Don't think yourself safe just because you've got a weapon!"

Of course, the thought of that little girl being an enemy crossed his mind, but since this place was so chock-full of little girls anyways...
Actually, what was WITH this place, anyways? The gender ratio was so skewed...

Suwako

"Recette... Tear... That's an interesting duo you've got here~!" Suwako laughed, looking at the juxtaposition of the two. The fairy certainly seemed to be different from what was normal in Gensokyo; there was no indication of any affiliation with nature, and... Well, the snarkiness that she was using certainly set her apart if the rest hadn't already. The girl, on the other hand... Well, Suwako wasn't entirely sure how to peg her, but hey, help was help.

"Hey, so, I've got a lot of questions. I mean, a lot. But... You know... Too much attention right here and all that; any place we can go to get our bearings straight about this place?" she asked, beaming. "We're not gonna get anywhere if people start getting too curious about us just popping outta nowhere."

Kakine

With both of the contracts signed, Aleister calmly retracted both back into wherever the heck they came from before sending a file with the location of their guests' new temporary lodgings to 10032's goggles and dropping two cards- one for Marisa, and one for Lucina- into their hands.

"Thank you for understanding. I'll bring Awaki up here to escort you out shortly." Aleister stated, his voice just as lifeless as it had always been. "10032, Teitoku, please bring these two to their new lodgings. You'll be contacted tomorrow in regards to the next location you'll be dropped off at; in the meantime, you are free for the rest of the day. Dismissed."

As if on cue, Musujime appeared behind the group of four, an irate expression on her face. Though Kakine was certainly aware of that fact, by no means did he want to irritate her, if at all.

"You ready? Then we'll be off." she said, waving her flashlight at the four of them. The sudden spatial distortion and change in lighting temporarily made Kakine cringe, but... No matter. If it meant he could stop dealing with Aleister for today, the better.

"Okay, if that's the case, then... The machine's probably down for maintenance again. It's unstable, so it makes... Reasonable sense." he muttered to himself as his eyes readjusted to the light. "Well, we've got time right now, so we can either get you two settled down like Crowley suggested, or we can explore the city for a while. And no, Marisa, that does not mean 'fly around and steal everything you come across'; you've got your guest ID now, and it's got money linked to it, so you can buy stuff instead. Alright?"

Pokémon: Warriors of Sengun (Up To Four Spaces Open)

Shinsuke sat down in contemplation next to the brook as he took a look around himself. The forest seemed to all blend together to him, which made it difficult to figure out where to go and which way was... Well, the road, for one. It was a tad silly for him to walk this far without any way out, admittedly, and even moreso to just lose himself in the wilderness like he did.

"Hm... Maybe an aerial view might do me some good...?" he muttered to himself as Kumie situated itself comfortably on his head. Right. Well, now was as good a time as ever to see how well formerly-wild Pokemon could understand the human language. Carefully taking the Swablu off of his head, Shinsuke sighed and looked it straight in the eyes.

"Fly into the sky with Hanzo and see if you can find a road nearby." he stated plainly, placing Kumie on the ground for Hanzo's convenience. The former nodded as it had before, which Shinsuke interpreted as a sign of understanding, as Hanzo climbed on. Though the little Swablu seemed to struggle momentarily, it didn't take long for both of the Pokemon to be completely airborne. It didn't take long, though, for the Swablu's strength to finally give out and bring the both of them plummeting back to the ground. Barely managing to catch the both of them before their faces met the dirt below them, Shinsuke sighed and shook his head. Well, he should've seen that one coming.

"Well... Did you two see anything?" he asked, placing the two Pokemon on the ground. Kumie and Hanzo both seemed to nod, which was, clearly, a good sign.

"Alright; if you would, then."

With that statement, Hanzo climbed his way onto Shinsuke's right shoulder and pointed off to the side. Nodding, Shinsuke brushed himself off as Kumie perched itself on his left before walking off and following Hanzo's directions.

It didn't take long after that; the forest's density began to thin considerably after a few minutes, and a little while later the trio found themselves back on the main road to Mystriver. Convenient enough.

"Good job, you two. I'll get you something later." Shinsuke said, slipping his hands into his coat as he began to walk back down the road towards the bridges mentioned by that young assistant from earlier. Well, it was certainly better than wandering about the region aimlessly...
