Then a very, very small value will be obtained. If the projection itself can't do any harm, then it's not very important how powerful the being is anyways. At least until the moment they decide to show up in person.

How does figure determine power?
Well, I didn't mean that. I meant that it will detect the being and their appearance and any info that can be gathered will be stored in a database if they met the criteria to begin the process. Then, it wouldn't make sense for a projection of a being to not be somehow connected to the being his or herself, right? And energy, in some form, has to be put in to form and maintain the projection, as well as perform actions through it. The math revolves around the energy that can be detected either within or coming from it.

Just for the record, this isn't something I made up on the spot. It's one of a few defense systems Vex preemptively created to counter as many known superhuman abilities as possible, starting with the more dangerous.
