It's not private. It's long since been a dead project. I was not involved in it, and neither was Vex, but Zach was. They called it Project Steel, and all I know is that very, very inhumane methods were used to produce the deadliest people the Alliance has ever known. Most of them ended up on the wrong side of the law, but a few of them ended up as the Alliance intended- as fighters for the greater good. Zach was unaware of the crimes against humanity in the project, and I believe him, but that's nearly everything I know about it.

Don't let it get to you. Granted, I am physically and mentally at my peak, I lost the trust of nearly all of those I care about. Now I plan to never go down that road again... Just a wee bit of advice from a relatively old man with experience far beyond his years.
