You're saying that as if there's nothing random to anything. You also say that as if 90% of all humans aren't utter morons.

Intelligence is irrelevant when a person decides what they do and do not enjoy. And though there are random elements to it, it boils down to the fact that if whatever thing is in question is truly bad, it never would have gained traction in the first place.
<Snipped quote by Galaxy Raider>

Yes, but there are plenty of other factors in play.

Thanks. I set it up just for you.

Other things can go into something to make it look nicer and other such things, but in the end, the raw entertainment value of media is what determines how objectively good it is. Subjective good is arguable for anything on nearly any grounds, but objective good has numbers to back it in audience size and profit in viewer revenue and marketing.

SAO is also statistically very popular. It's still trash. Trash argument.

One Piece never had a SSJ2 moment. There.
DBZ told several full stories without needing much filler.
DBZ created the whole "fusion" craze. OP never did anything like that.
I can spell faggot with two letters, OP.

That's exactly my point though. You might think yourself that whatever is trash, but in the end, things become mainstream for a reason. SAO has proved more entertaining to a larger number of viewers.

It's the goal but doesn't necessarily mean that it's of higher quality, just that it appeals to the masses.

Also sorry about the delay; I had to put some pictures in the attic.

Yes, but quality if the production also does not equate to its entertainment value. The only way to objectively gauge something's ability to entertain is to see how many it entertains.

You're fine. Nice attic by the way.
<Snipped quote by Galaxy Raider>

>Believing in the power of the majority to estimate quality

Part of the problem is that DB is broken up while OP is 810 episodes long.

It's not a fallacy when in regards to entertainment media, where appealing to as many people as possible is the inherrent goal.

Yes. I'll give you that one.

>Parodying my rendition of the meme instead of the meme itself

This is why even though Dragon Ball got to enter back into the Big 3, it will still be outlived by One Piece.

What better way to attack your credibility? /s

It is statistically more popular than One Piece. Numbers don't lie.
One Piece > DB[Z S]

Prove me wrong
Pro tip: you can't

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Dragon Ball. The action is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics, most of the fights will go over a typical person's head. There’s also the implicit "always-improving" outlook, which is deftly woven into their characterisation, wherein the value of another individual's opinion on the internet is inversely proportional to what percent of said opinion is present on the internet- the ideological philosophy draws heavily from ancient Japanese tales like Journey to the West, for instance.

I just dont want to see anyone else die. Ive alredy lost my son to this momster, ive seen the horrid deeds shaes commited... rape, murder, torture, all the above. She is the worst thing I've ever seen, and I was around when Dark was still a thing.... that, and I feel that no one else shpuld have to be involved. I feel responsible for this...

I know how it feels, losing family. Losing your child. Believe me, there has never been something more atrocious than that, as you commit multiple atrocities with a single action. But don't let anything you said drag you down, because if anything it should be adding fuel to your fire. It doesn't matter how disgusting of a person someone is. If they deserve it, we give it to 'em. So don't you worry about other people being involved in what you might feel like is your own problem. If the general consensus was that everyone be left to their own devices, we wouldn't be much of a group, huh?
<Snipped quote by Galaxy Raider>

You should put that on a t-shirt. I'd get one.

<Snipped quote by souleaterfan320>

Why not?

<Snipped quote by souleaterfan320>

Dang it.

Wouldn't want to ruin the secret by announcing such valuable philosophy to the world, now.
<Snipped quote by Galaxy Raider>

..im just, worried, is all...

I understand. With any risk comes worry. It's the part of the job I hate most. What kills worry, though, is another invaluable tool we've got at our disposals: Trustworthy friends. And I mean this in more ways than just your child's cartoon teaching kids a lesson. We'll protect each other when one is down, and then pick each other up. We'll cover all angles, snagging opportunities one of us may not have seen alone. We'll strategize as a team, which allows more flexibility than going solo. And there are more of us, ready to come out of the woodwork if things get dire, prepared to give the enemy a hard time. We're a group for a reason. We get it done together, more than ever possible alone.
<Snipped quote by Galaxy Raider>

Yeah.

I'd say we already have more in many departments sitting within this room than she does alone. No question.
