Bio

Well hello.

I guess I should introduce myself, huh.

I'm Gardevoiran, just some schmuck going to college and working towards getting a degree in Fine Arts.

I do commissions and what-not, and you can ask me to do a commission for you through my Discord (Gardevoiran #1429) or up here through RPGuild PMs, and I receive donations and payment through my Ko-fi page. Clicking the box right below here will take you to it.

I'm a nerd. I play Pokemon religiously, I dabble in some anime, I write up here, and I love watching incredibly awful movies and just making fun of them. Specifically things like "Leo the Lion" and what not.

I don't have much else to say, so I guess I can leave you guys with a really bad joke.

"What do you call a cow with two legs?"
"Lean beef."

Bonesword

Bonesword's eyes flicked to a shade of bright purple when he heard the insult dished to him by Helena. Here he was, standing in front of something just as powerful as everything he had seen before, but this time felt different. He'd been on the field with someone like Victoire, and he almost took her down with a single strike, but this time he felt like he was more... whole. Like he had been more himself in his entire afterlife in this moment than he has since he woke up that faithful day. Whether it was a surge of adrenaline from feeling like he had a purpose again, or a surge of hatred that he was being pushed around by this person again, he didn't know, but what he did know was this.

He was the best at what he could do.

Next to his sides, two large oak trees burst out of the ground with blistering speed, and as Bonesword took control, they began to act as two incredibly large hands for the skeleton, catching a good number of swords summoned by Khaine. Just what he needed to cause a few problems for Helena.

A row of cacti slowly rose from the ground behind Bonesword as he pulled a sword out from the nearby tree, taking aim at Helena and throwing a sword at her. And that sword was followed by another. And another. They'd be no problem for her to dodge, but once the battlefield gets crowded with his summons and other fighters, they'd be harder and harder to dodge, and eventually one would hit and cause her to bleed.

He just had to live that long.

Helena is a showgirl; she`s using misdirection ever since this battle began, the roses never had any effect and are only there for decoration. They are just for looks. There`s no usage for BS to control those roses. He can try and it`ll have no effect at all on the battle.

The thing eating away at your character's mind before was Helena`s own power via the blue roses from before. None of them having anything to do with Victoire, even if Helena tried to make it look like that with the flowers being made of blood.

Regarding Victoire`s own roses, I don't think Bonesword actually made the deal with Victoire on that. If he did, can you point it out for me?

This clears up more things than it should.

Also, BS didn't make the deal, but it was implied that he could still control the roses without the deal, although he'd have little power over them as he would effectively only have the rose part of a blood rose. If he had made the deal, we wouldn't be in this situation.

Edit: In any case, BS is tired of being useless, and he's coming in with power for this fight.
@Lonewolf685
Unaware of this. I'll stop asking any more questions until a proper response is addressed. I hope she fixes the issues soon.
@TheWindel
If it's the latter, then oh boy.
@TheWindel
They are made of blood.

<Snipped quote by Banana>

Do I need to answer that one? Obviously you can't control others' powers. Not only is that a big problem from an etiquette side but also those roses are made of blood, so they aren't normal plants.

And the only idea that these are different are really their colors and waht they do. These are purple, and they embody nothingness.

"Just you wait, there's far more from where this one came from," Helena shouted. She disappeared from her place at the tribune, leaving a burst of rose petals behind her as she reappeared above one of the many tall columns that dotted the arena floor.

"If you want to test my mettle, you are more than welcome to bring it on," Helena said as the faint perfume of roses filled the stadium as the columns in which Helena stood became covered in flowering hedges.

They're incredibly similar as to what we've seen, and the only thing left out was how they got there.
@TheWindel
She outright stated in an earlier post that they were made of blood and that BS couldn't control them, but far earlier (Arcadia) she said this about them.

@Banana

If Bonesword wants a bit of her roses, Victoire is very well willing to make a deal with him. He would never be able to control them right without her permission, anyway, since the roses are part of her Primordial Vampire powers. He has the potential, all he needs to is think, "How much is this worth?"

It implies that BS could control the roses, although not well at all.
@TheWindel
Slightly, but that doesn't necessarily answer if BS can truly control them or not, which is what I was trying to figure out.
@Skinner35
I was, but I think I've lost interest in ever trying to continue this.
@TheWindel
I'd like to say so, but then I got the message that they were made from blood, and the only blood character that controls roses is Victoire to our knowledge.
@KoL
Actually, hold the fuck on. Flood is right.

They fucking did grow from seeds in Arcadia. How far off could it be from an actual plant?

A cactus can grow off barely any water, and BS controls those easily.

BS could create Charlie, a fully sentient basilisk, and still let him grow to massive sizes. What changes now?

And there is this.

This implies that BS can control the roses to some degree. Why can't he now?
