Leaving this section sparse for now, hoping to collaborate with another character.

Does Jiwari have any family? Wouldn't your animal friends be classed as allies?
Except for the honey badger. Kill that thing with a napalm airstrike.

Seriously though, Bernie's wanderings would probably take her close to Tortoisefolk territory and having a creature she could camp out on the back of would certainly be useful during an acid rain storm.
The ever-irritated half honey badger half poisonous porcupine...

Honey badger!?! ~slips into FarCry 4 post traumatic stress flashback~

It's okay... I'm safe now... it can't get me here...
Feasting for 6 days to celebrate the formation of the Royal Council? Hmm... perhaps not the best course of action...
I would like to mention that I did design Trey to be more of a tank and a heavy hitter than a frequent speedster. He only has so much fuel in his body at a time and it's important for him to be careful when he uses his rocket engines.

...

I don't mean to be negative or argumentative, but I did design him to be a birthed tank unit since I he was most likely to see combat than mechanics and be deployed in the field not as much of a flanker.

I was picturing it more of a case where when combat started Nightmare would be slow and heavy, and so would have to move towards the enemy as best he could, providing cover for the softer members of the team. Since Trey has a speed boost, he'd be able to dart ahead and establish a second front. This would either cut off an enemy's retreat or divide their resources as they attempted to target two locations rather than just a single group of approaching hostiles.

EDIT: I'm picturing this as squad level tactics, so Trey would at worst by twenty to thirty meters away from the rest of the party. Just far enough out of range to not be eaasily suppoortable in close combat, but still within range for fire support.

Once the perimeter was secured, Trixie would provide ranged cover with her support drones, backed up by Kiki's telepresence calling out targets and disrupting enemy communications and equipment. At this point Trey could either remain where he was, drawing fire and harrassing the enemy's flank, or could push in to get into close combat, depending on how well the engagement was going. His speed boost could then be used to close distance or move between cover if absolutely required, but he'd most likely just be relying on his polymerised skin to protect himself as he made his way through the enemy ranks.

The reason I called him a 'flanker' was that he'd be the one getting into combat from the enemy's flank. If anything right now he'd be the main hitter for the squad, the one who actually went in and took down targets with precision while Nightmare provided covering fire and defence for the main part of the team.

If you need twenty men to all duck at once, send Nightmare. If you need one guy taken out, send Trey.

If you need twenty guys taken out, send Trixie, but make sure someone's got a whole load of cash to cover their bar bill afterwards. :p

Also, this is exactly the time to be negative and argumentative. Any problems are best sorted out before we get into the RP properly so that we're all on the same page and not causing problems for each other later. :D

@ReusableSword So the team would break down something like...

Operations (team leader) - Nightmare/Trey
Assistant Operations/Intel - Trey/Kiki
Weapons - Nightmare/'Rookie'
Engineer - Trixie
Communications - Kiki
Medical - Fiore
@Mara Don't worry, they have knives.

the second there is an ic post... god my post will fucking hit the IC like a NUKE buddy

...And that would be the sound of a Unit B strike team heading for your address... :P

I'm thinking of a more team system instead of the isolated pairs that I thought of in the beginning. there would still be birthed/mechanic pairs to an extent, but we would all collaborate with each other in battle.

I completely agree with that idea.

As far as team roles go, I'd see Nightmare as the Blocker, standing at the front and soaking up as much damage as he can. His shield and armour should help him out quite a bit with this task.

Trey would be a Flanker, using his speed and mobility to reposition rapidly but often leading to him being separated from the rest of the party for short periods during combat.

Trixie would be the Jinx, deploying drones to harrass and distract enemies, as well as capitalising on any moments of opportunity to cause damage.

Kiki would be the Mastermind, using her abilities to both keep track of the battlefield as well as disrupting enemy technology, keeping them from bringing their own support in and disrupting their plans.

And Fiore would be our Support, providing medical aid and keeping an eye on the team to ensure no-one is left unassisted.

This means we really need a Blitzer right now, someone who can provide steady damage to our opposition, as well as occasionally blowing large craters in the landscape. Trixie could be repurposed for this role, depending on how well she can scavenge materials to build fully operational battle bots, but a character with dedicated heavy firepower or close combat capabilities would be perfect.
@Mara I was kinda glad it went down, since it meant I could stop adding little details to Susie's profile. :)
