Nova

Name - "Nova"

Age - Unknown

Species - Human

Role - Bounty Hunter

Gender - Presumably Male

Appearance -
Just below 6', never seen without his armour.

Personality - Nova is a man of few words. He just wants to get by, doing the only thing he knows how. He's aware of his capabilities and is a loyal ally to have, following every order he gets to the letter. He prefers remaining mysterious, even to his crew and captain. He's even gone as far to fit a voice modulator into his helmet, so no one knows what he really looks like or sounds like. He rarely gives his opinion without being asked to do so, but enjoys providing the combat expertise he gained from his time in the military.

History - For reasons unknown to all but the Guardian himself, the mysterious soldier of fortune deserted the UCGP and has no intentions of returning. He spent a good portion of time taking different jobs before becoming a bounty hunter, deciding to use his skills effectively. He's recently joined a crew of Bounty Hunters, now taking orders from a cyborg named Alexis. He doesn't mind though, and as long as he can keep doing what he's been doing, then he'll remain a loyal ally to the crew.

Equipment - UCGP "Guardian" Class Battle Suit= Nova's military grade suit is equipped with an army standard HUD, thrusters for increased jump distance with reflex, speed and durability boosters. The suit also has active camouflage capabilities for stealth insertions. If he is somehow disarmed, then he can charge his fists with electricity and engage in hand to hand combat. The electricity can also be used as a contact Taser or to overload computer systems if need be. The suit, combined with Nova's training makes him an ultimate commando.

All purpose UCGP pulse repeater rifle= A medium sized energy rifle. Comes with an up to 12x, selective zoom scope. The gun has been outfitted with multiple firing modes:
- Full auto
- Semi automatic
- Sniper
- Taser

Ship - Part of Alexis's crew.

Activity - I'm on almost every day. If something comes up, I'll be sure to notify a GM.

The Flaming Scourge

Name - Malcolm "Flaming Scourge" Whitfield

Age - 56

Species - Cyborg human

Role - Pirate

Appearance -
Malcolm stands at an intimidating 6' 5", and despite his age is incredibly fit and muscular. (The parts that are still human anyway). His legs and left arm are all cybernetic implants, so it can be hard only having one arm. However, when it can change into a sword, you get used to it.

Personality - Malcolm is a ruthless solo pirate who doesn't have much time for making friends or enough patience to be merciful. He's been doing his job for a while now and is damn good at it. He's a darer and has a penchant for going for the more crazier way of doing things if he can help it. However, he's not reckless all the time and knows to take the smart play when things get dire. He's all about making that money, and if he can create more stories on his quest to becoming one of the greatest pirates ever, then even better. He wants to be known for his crimes and actions, and want to forge his legacy onward by leaving a wake of fire and ruin across the stars behind him.

History - Malcolm isn't one to share his private history with others, only stories of daring do, cold-hearted murder and of course; sweet, sweet loot. The story of how he lost his arm and legs isn't one he likes to share either, but it's part of the reason why he now runs solo and is very difficult to trust others. However, if you're in the Flaming Scourge's sights, you've fucked up. Either by pissing off the highest bidder or just by getting in his way to the next paycheck that he goes to and from and has been for the past thirty years when he first became a pirate.

Equipment - "Hellburst" Energy Scattershot= Malcolm's preferred boomstick when it comes to ranged fighting. The Hellburst is similar to that of a sawed off shotgun. except it uses concentrated heat energy and has two firing modes. A spread shot, or a charged shot. The spread shot is in the name. The charged shot fires a condensed beam, being more precise and more damaging, but smaller overall, whereas the spread shot can cover a whole hallway. The gun does not require a physical reload, but does need time to recreate the energy between shots, even more time if the charged shot was used. Two seconds between spreads, six seconds if it's a charged shot.

"Mechanical Interchangeable Appendage aka MIA- Cutlass variant"= Malcolm's black market, mechanical arm is a robust implant which the forearm changes from a normal looking human's arm but metallic and retracts, swapping out for the Sword mode. The arm can only be in one mode or the other, and the arm requires regular maintenance to keep it working, less the sword gets jammed and Malcolm is temporarily left with one functioning arm. The sword's edge can be super heated for a short period of time, making cutting through metal just as easy as flesh.

Explosives= Malcolm usually carries two types of grenades. His normal stun grenades, which creates an electric field that can shock up to five enemies as once, effectively tazing them. The other choice are his incendiary charges which are remotely detonated explosives that burn at intense degrees. After seeing the hole it creates in a metal door, you don't wanna know what it can do to a body, which can and will be used upon if Malcolm feels it is necessary. The pirate usually has two of each on hand equipped to his belt.

Ship -

The "Devil's Fury" is a one man star fighter, which lack of heavy weapons is compensated by it's speed and maneuverability. While it's not a heavy hitter, the ship is not defenseless. It comes equipped with two light repeaters, that can fire a steady stream of medium powered shots that can do some damage to other star fighters or shuttles but are next to useless when it comes to frigates, carriers or other large ships. It's engine is a powerful quad core reactor, and if a situation gets really sticky, he can make a jump to hyperspeed. However, the ship can't fit a small enough navigation system, so it jumps to a random location and will need heavy maintenance and repairs to get her back to efficient flying condition and it takes a heavy toll on the hull and engine.

UCGP CLASS: All Purpose Energy Pulse Assault rifle= A medium sized energy rifle. Comes with an up to 12x, selective zoom scope. The gun has been outfitted with multiple firing modes:

Although these are what he has equipped, Nova is trained in the usage of a whole variety of weapons, armaments and equipment thanks to his military background.

Nova's Land Cruiser "Velocity"

The Velocity is technically owned by Nova, but it's home is upon the Thunder Raid. The Velocity is an incredibly quick two person maximum hover bike. It is not made for defense but speed and maneuverability, usually for scouting or quick hit and run attacks if necessary. It has a front heavy laser repeater for firing at hostiles.
