Yeah, I think they'd work well together, rather than clashing.

Were you one of the peeps we were waiting on? Has Fam already guaranteed you a spot, I mean? Because I thought we were at our max, and I'm not sure. I hope you are in, its a cool character, and well constructed.

EDIT: Oh, it looks like we have an empty slot regardless.

So, Fam, are we going to be divided into separate teams for missions? I think sixteen players in the same place might turn into a cluster jam.
Maybe there's a minimum threshold. Like, say it's a "gate" that lets the energy through, but it needs a certain amount before it can be opened?

It is a little weird, that's the only way I can figure it.
Since no one has interacted with you(or anyone, really) yet, I would assume that that is the safe thing to do. Since Artist is no longer in the game, but Press is.
Hey Fam, how do you feel about Charles Atlas Super Powers?
I was thinking about the literal limitations of Blur, and I figured at present he's probably about at a high school athlete level of physical fitness, with a safe desync level of six times normal time speed. Like I said in his profile, his main limitation is normal human stamina. I was thinking that as the RP goes on his "level ups" will be attained through intense physical conditioning at Sanctum, which could give him enhanced endurance and even faster base running speed, well beyond normal human levels.

Let's say he's flat out sprinting and going 20 mph(that'd be a pretty good high school athlete) and he goes full(safe) desync up to level six. He'd be going a relative speed of 120 mph. And also bear in mind that that's just flat out speed, and that in addition to that every action he takes, including his thoughts and reaction time, are also six times faster.

I think that's a fair and fun base level, and that he could increase both his endurance and his safe desync range as the RP progresses.

Thoughts on those limits?
While I definitely agree that the GM has the last and only truly important word, I don't see anything wrong with discussing it civilly. I a player has an issue with a power, I think it should be within their right to mention it. I may be biased, as I was the first person to do so. But that is my two cents.
I don't think it will come to that, Scar. Really the only additional limitation that I see you needing is that your drawings can't have their own supernatural abilities. That still leaves you with the entire range of mechanical and biological creation.

But I think all in all we should totally wait for Famo to chime in on this situation.
I didn't get a chance to defend my actions, and since the GM has spoken I won't say another thing on the subject other than I'm sorry I controlled things I shouldn't have.
What exactly determines the properties of things that Artist draws? Does he when he summons them from the paper? Does the artist(I assume he can pull other peoples drawings as well) merely need to intend for that property to exist? Does it need to be inherent in the drawing itself? Does Artist just have to intend for the drawing in particular to be able to read minds? Because if that's the case than he could just say that all of his drawings can read minds. Why not?

You're going the right direction to avoid it being OP with the limitations that you've placed so far, but I can still see a lot of room for abuse.

I kind of agree with Fox. Like the example I gave, if you can give any power to any of your drawings it's just crazy. And you can't just say "Well it was a robot that looked like a fly. Because if you set that precedent from the get go you can make things up like that every time.

You already have an incredibly powerful ability, don't go pretending that we're making it useless by asking for fair limitations.
So are you going to retcon the mind reading in your IC post? Because I object to that as a character power too. Especially if you give it to him with the power he already has. A little bit BS, I would say.
So Bruce is P505?

Anyway, I posted.
