I still wanna be the villain!
Oh, I see. Well my bad, I should have waited a minute then. But we shall press on.
I already posted, but I figured Fam would start the tour, as he plays Vita and also actually knows exactly what is in the base and what they are allowed to have access to.
Bruce had had a nice little snack, but he was getting restless again. Nothing was happening. It would be nice to get to know his team, but those that weren't already petting a dog or having a physical crisis had left in a standoffish huff.

He heard someone talking to that floating AI thing, asking about a guided tour. That could be just the ticket. He dashed over in a desynced blur and stood next to scrawny Russian kid. "Hey!" he gave the kid a playful tap in the arm, "Tour sounds awesome, mind if I tag along?" He spoke a little faster than necessary, as he still hadn't gotten the hang of keeping his own time field in sync. "Do you guys have a garage? Or a sport field? Or a running track?"
Three hours. I know the west coast is three hours behind the east.

I am on right now, I think I'll join Nikolai and Vita on the tour.
When Bruce heard Ming exclaiming about the wonders of the refrigerator, he desynced and literally skipped across the room to the fridge. He followed her into the walk-in and grabbed a yogurt off of one of the shelves and immediately tucked in. He had already finished it and walked back out when he realized that he had forgotten to resync. He snapped instantly back into normal time flow, and tossed the garbage into the nearest receptacle.

"So do we have to not train today?" he asked. He was a lot looser after seeing Ming drop the strict demeanor without getting yelled at. He had been a bit up tight in the presence of the soldiers. Or rather, his superiors, as he was a soldier now too. Or so they said. "I haven't been running in like two days and it makes me feel like a lazy prick."
I always copy my post before hitting submit. That way it's saved in the clipboard if something went wrong.

@Rain: Well if you want or need to be the next to post, you can always ask everyone else to hold off until you get yours done. Sometimes it's important to collaborate OOC so that the story will work properly.
You don't always need multiple paragraphs, though. Like, for instance, the situation that just happened where a bunch of us just responded our characters saluting in kind. If you had written two whole paragraphs for that post I would have accused you of purple prose.
Something suddenly changed in Bruce's sped up vision of events. As quickly as he could, he resynchronized his time field, and saw that everyone else was saluting. He brought up his hand in a slightly belated salute. That's what you get, he supposed, for fastforwarding real life.
I'm here. Also PMed you about a villain, in case we aren't full up on them.
