Wait, what about triple colors are we forgetting?

Here's color combinations I wouldn't mind making a character for:

Red white
Blue Red
Green Red
Green Black
Green Black and White(assuming triple colors are still allowed)
White Black
Blue Black

Could also use any monocolor.

I love the concept of using dual colors, but rebelling against the ideals of the guild that usually embodies those colors.
I assume we won't be playing with literal cards anyway, but will instead just kinda use them as a guide to how much a spell might cost.
Yeah, Fallen, we kinda did that out of nowhere. Probably should have kept bumping the topic, or sent PMs.

Well, you now my vote on the Planeswalker front. As for how/why they'd stay: I figured any Planeswalkers that we play would be freshly awakened, and perhaps they don't actually understand how to planeswalk yet, so they're stuck in the first place they accidentally pwed to, which happens to be Ravnica.

I think three colors should be the max any one player can use, because otherwise everyone overlaps with everyone and it kind of undoes possibility for character conflict/interaction through differences.

Well, I think the idea behind "lands" is that it's a place that a planeswalker has a connection to. So how about this slight change to that idea: Same deal, mana is easier to come by if it's plentiful where you happen to be. But, in addition to that, each character starts with, say, four "lands" that are near and dear to their hearts, and from which they can channel mana. And the kicker here is that characters who use more colors would have more difficulty casting their best and most complicated spells.
I see no problem.

Should we get on it, or should we wait in case someone does have an issue and we need to shuffle?
Yeah, I'm cool. Curious who you'll pair Blur with.
I imagine he'll be made to remove his fancy robot gadgets.
See, there's an idea.

The only flaw is that we don't know where the plot will go regarding those. We'd basically have to take a vague idea we know is going to come, and then just bullshit everything. I don't know how comfortable anyone is with that.
What about characters whose powers aren't under the best control?
I can rock any color, and most combinations. So I'll decide after everyone else in case anyone else has a stronger preference. Just to make sure there's variety.
I also think it would be especially cool if we all had different specialties.

I reckon we should pick color(or color combination) and then pick a specialty within that/those color(s). And maybe our characters can learn from each other(and from NPCs) whose colors overlap with them.
