The site also seems to have trouble accepting line breaks. I tried to put space between the two CSes but no matter how many times I hit enter they're still back to back.
Name: Orun Age: 25 Appearance: ![Celebrating victory.](http://media.wizards.com/images/magic/daily/features/feat262c_6ettwm8x8n.jpg "Orun") Bio: Orun hails from a desert civilization somewhere far to the South of Anaxus Prime. His people are known to periodically pass through Anaxan controlled territories, almost always traveling alone. It is understood in Anax that the desert dwellers travel as a rite of passage, and bring stories and treasures back to their communities. Orun was one such traveler, heading North to seek his fortune. When he came upon the Prime Coliseum, he was intrigued enough to spend what little money he had to watch a fight. From the stands, he watched a pair of slaves with spears cowering in a corner as a griffin, wings clipped, paced back and forth hungrily. He thought to himself that he could do better fighting such beasts, having hunted similar animals back home. He joined the arena to prove it, and has been fighting ever since. He's best known for fighting beasts, and(as he is a free man and can make the choice) rarely accepts fights with men and women. Strength: 2 Speed: 0 Dexterity: 1 Armor: Heavy, level 3. Equipment: Fights with a spear primarily, but always carries a short sword into fights as well. --- Name: Vran Age: Unknown Appearance:![Her likeness on a promotion poster.](http://fc08.deviantart.net/fs71/i/2013/053/9/4/gorgon_by_celiarts-d5vtr5i.jpg "Vran") When not in the arena, she wears a brass mask that covers her entire face, leaving only the snakes that she has for hair free. The mask is locked securely, and will only be taken off before a fight. There's a hole for her nose and mouth so that she can eat drink and breath, but the mask is uncomfortable and leaves her with sores on her face. Bio: Vran is an interesting and special case in the Coliseum. She is from a lineage of creature-people that Anaxans say were cursed by the gods, for reasons that vary from story to story. To look directly into a gorgon's face up close causes immediate paralysis, and for this reason she is both an interesting show and a dangerous asset. She is handled very carefully, as most who are struck by her power die when their heart stops. Vran is not an ordinary fighter, and is only put in the ring with slaves and condemned criminals, and even then only when the fighter in question has lost favor with the crowd. Vran has been at the Coliseum for just under seven months, and yet she has never lost a match, and is hated by the slaves for it. She is held in the same harsh conditions as the other slaves, but they keep a distance from her as even with her face covered, her snakes have a dangerous bite. She doesn't speak the Anaxan language very well, and is unlikely to improve because no one talks to her. All she understands is that when she fights, her face can feel the free air. To her, the danger of the arena is worth the temporary relief. She is unique even among the slaves as she does not get paid for her victories. Strength: 0 Speed: 2 Dexterity: 1 Armor: None, level 1. Equipment: She is given a shield to block blows, but is expected to kill slaves with her visage alone.
It looks good.
So maybe it's in your cookies rather than in the site's databanks. Yeah, that needs to be fixed.
Weird, I've been able to edit my posts no problem. In fact, my above post was edited like three times. What you could do is copy it before hitting edit, and then just paste it in the edit text box.
No, they'd fit in just fine. I know I didn't mention any female gladiators, but the arena is owned by a woman. In fantasy settings I prefer to have cultures be more progressive regarding gender than they were in real life, because it makes for a greater range of characters. That said, female gladiators are rarer than males. Because female slaves have even more barbaric uses. Most women gladiators are actually willing volunteers. By the by, I don't know if everyone missed the fact that not all gladiators are slaves, but some of them are just athletes seeking a very risky glory. Also note that not all slaves come from conquest. Many are born into it, or else sold into the Anaxan market by their own countrymen. You can also be enslaved as punishment for a crime. I hope nobody is upset if I take the basic premise of your character's culture and sort of run with it.
I mean write "one" instead of "1" yes. And yeah, a general proofread, there's a lot of type errors. But wait, do you have problems with losing data when you edit? I've never had that. Are you on a phone?
I don't honestly know Braum's origin. I actually just started playing LoL again today, and Braum was free to play so I used him. That's literally the only reason I recognized him. Xander, slight alteration to your backstory: Ironthorn at large was occupied by the Empire to make use of its vast mineral wealth. Helmfirth got in the way, and so they were subjugated by the invading force. The taking of slaves is actually not performed by the Legion itself, but by companies who basically follow the army. A town or civilization that surrenders to Anaxan rule and pays their taxes are pretty safe(Pax Anaxa, you might say). But Helmfirth resisted, and battle ensued. Fleeing civilians(possibly Alexander, carried away by his caretaker) were picked off by the slavers. Let me know if you find that acceptable, we can work on it otherwise.
Sure. Is that Braum as your avatar?
You're gonna need to proofread that, Jang. And type out numbers rather than just using the number.
