@Ciphra Back to you.
That was my plan, but either works.
Not you, lol. Platinum's character. I'm trying to get them all off the planet soon.
Great! So, not too much has happened, though there's quite a bit of text. There's two ongoing collaborations that are linked at the bottom of the first post. One is at Siador's complex, where his head of security is testing the new employees, which consists of two Dathomirian siblings, and David's apprentices(none of which have players anymore...)

The other is on Nar Shadaa, where David has tracked down a Force Sensitive to try to take on as an apprentice, and another is actively tracking him.
@Ciphra You're clear to post in the collab.
Real roll:

[Siador, Archaeology 4: 19.
Moderate difficulty technical knowledge: Pass]

He identifies its era and culture of construction. If you had gotten one more I would have even said that he did identify its original owner.

I... Don't think anyone would have the knowledge to recognize it. It's funny, the original system actually had a knowledge check for that, but I don't have it here.

The six is a combination from both of the rolls. They were each three over their equivalent rolls from the droid. Write it however you like, I believe it comes to a "wound" on the chart.
@Minimum
Kil tipped the shit out of his hand there. But that's alright, it gets us moving. And he actually succeeded in that attack.

I took a bit of liberty when making my roll, I assumed that Kil would attempt to strike back as well as block the blaster and that required a second roll to beat the shield. Hopefully you all see why I made that choice. Let me know if he would have acted differently.
The problem with bundling it in with your combat skill, or your strength stat, is that(as someone else points out) it makes strong characters tough as well. I want to separate a character's ability to give damage from their ability to take damage, so that characters will have to choose which to focus on. So I think I will add a new stat for it.

I'd like to add in armor as well, but I still need an adequate drawback.
@TheUnknowable

Can you move your characters to the characters tab? Sometimes I try to compare them, and I have to go back and forth.

So I'm thinking of adding in "Damage Threshold." That is, in a combat scenario, you have to be beaten in the roll by a certain number in order to take any damage. It's a kind of buffer.

So, if we're in a lightsaber duel, you roll 19 and I roll 17, ordinarily I would take 2 damage. If I had a DT of 3, however, I would take none, even though I lost the roll.

I like it, because it means that every crossing of sabers doesn't end in someone getting tagged. Injuries would be harder to get, and would mean a little more.

The question is: how to implement? Everyone could have the same DT, but that's a little silly. I was considering two different ways:

A) Armor, but I don't know what the drawback would be(there must be one).

B) Another stat(Constitution, I guess), more points in our total pool, and give everyone this one chance to respec their characters.

Thoughts?
