I gave it a different weapon in the second hand.

And sorry that I'm not really around on weekends, it's a busy time for me usually.
@Dynamo Frokane Okay, I think I have it finished, if you want to take a look now.
Work in progress, but let me know what you think so far.

We should have height on the mecha page, so that we have a good reference for how they compare in size.

And sorry I haven't gotten anything written yet, I worked, but today's an early shift for me and I'll probably get something this afternoon.

This would be a Hylo Noble who is working outside the law?

EDIT: I'm going to start work on the OOC, just to keep it all nice and clean, if you could submit the Minister and Royalty ideas in this interest check, and then when I approve them I'll post them in the OOC main thread.

Oh, no, that idea wasn't meant to be related to my write up for nobles and such.

Probably my main character, and they would be a sort of black marketeer in the Fortune Region.
Oooh, character idea.

Solar poacher: Has a mech with a large built in battery, and on board equipment to receive the microwave beamed energy from orbital solar farms. Hangs around the solar receiving facilities, illegally siphoning off power from space, and selling it in out of the way villages.
Swell, I'll throw some things together for those.
So if there's a Prime Minister, I take it there is a series of other ministers(Minister of Defense, Minister of State, Minister of Agriculture etc).

If you like, I can come up with a series of short bios for such people as them and various nobles in Hylo. Just to kind of fill the ranks, you know?

EDIT: Is there gonna be an aesthetic differentiation between mechs from different countries?
Timelines are great, and so is a division between the upper and lower classes in Hylo.

So is there a sort of nobility in addition to the Royal Family?

Where does the religion get it's priests? Are they nobility, or do they specifically look for people who could be taught to build and repair Colossi?

What sort of power does the Colossi Priesthood have? They must be in some level of control of the military, if we're going with their role as the technicians in charge of the their mecha.

So priesthood brings some prestige with the upper classes(though, possibly some disdain from the lower in recent years). Imagine poorer, desperate people "selling" their children(after extensive intelligence and aptitude tests) to the priesthood. They would have a better life, and would cease to be a strain on the family. But in return, they are disconnected from(and possibly even completely rejected by) the lower class community that they were born into.

So how does the Hyloan royalty keep their control of the lower classes? Or, maybe they don't. Maybe in the last eight years they have been quickly losing control of the populace, and are resorting to military measures to keep the peace in their own borders.

EDIT: Oh, and what exactly did the Outcast Guild start up for? What's their mission statement, and who started it?
@Dynamo Frokane That's alright.

So the Hylo Empire has a sort of religious connection to Mecha, yeah? Maybe they have a different vernacular and actually call them Colossi, giving them a verbal quirk that's pretty easy to spot out.

Do you have much fleshed out for their religious beliefs?

I would suggest that they have an order of monks who maintain and repair their mecha(or Colossi, if you take my suggestion on that). It may even be that a Hyloan(?) would refuse any other mechanic who wasn't a member of that order.

EDIT: Maybe they believe that every advance in mecha technology brings the world one step closer to the return of their gods. Maybe for that reason they are particularly aggressive toward any foreign culture that is hoarding technological knowledge or data.
