Oh, thanks, I'm relieved, actually. I'm new to the source material, so I'm glad I managed to capture it okay.

Is it allowed to already have some numenera/artifacts? I know we're supposed to be hunters for them. Any limitations on what they might be if we do?

Will we be making them up as we go, or will you tell us what/if we find things?
I mean, I guess not everyone knows that.
I'm pretty sure the Avatar relics would be useless for identifying the Avatar now.

Name: Monarch-12

Age: 13 years awake, unknown when they were constructed.

Sex: none

Type: Glaive

Descriptor: Golem

Focus: Endure

Explain Focus: Mon’s android body is harder to break than squishy humans, and their internal power source never seems to run dry. They can take hit after hit, and never tire or slow down.

"I am a golem glaive who endures.”

Backstory: The Monarch - 12 was created for a long forgotten purpose, by a long forgotten people. They were jacked by a numenera hunter, and sold to an affluent family, who kept them as a manservant. Having no active memories, Monarch learned all they know from them, including language and attitude.

A violent revolution freed them involuntarily, and monarch had wandered the earth ever since. They fell quite naturally into the trade of hunting numenera, but despite their freedom, they have never quite shaken the attitude of subservience that they picked up.
Hm, I have a couple of ideas, I kind of want to see what other people come up with before I make one, so I can pick the idea that will fill a niche rather than make repeats.

EDIT so I don't flood the thread double posting. Can you tell us a little bit about the town of Omar, so we can come up with a reason our characters might be there?
@Mortalya Alright, sounds cool. It sounds from the description like characters are pretty much anything goes, thematically and mechanically, is that right? What are the character types, and what limitations are there?
I like the look of this. I guess it's the setting of a tabletop game, but will we be using any tabletop aspects in our playing?
I think it could be an interesting and kind of humbling experience for the Avatar to have to seek a teacher for their native element after they've already started learning the other ones. Considering they are supposed to be at a mastery level by this point in their life, traditionally and historically speaking.
@AngelofOctober could you do me a favor and put your cs on the cs tab in hiders? I'm often on my phone and it's a lot to scroll through.
