Okay so I've talked to Gowi, and you'll need to create a new CS whether you reprise your role as Duela or choose a new character since this RP is taking place in a new year. Sláinte!

and if accepted I'll make whatever edits I need to do on my behemoth of a batsheet.

Definitely interested. I'm curious though as to what the Dick Grayson role is heading towards? Is there room for a Tim Drake? Also, how much can characters be changed? Gender bending allowed?

There's two or three people interested in Grayson. I've left any mentions of him empty from my Bruce Wayne CS for a reason.

Also, how much can characters be changed? Gender bending allowed?

I once changed Rocket Red into an Iron Man allegory.

We've had a Joker incarnation who was a psychic/telepath.

We've had Slade Wilson (deathstroke) absent from a mercenary path and actually working for the government's metahuman watchdog group.

We've had Vic Sage AND the Riddler redesigned as GCPD detectives.

Not sure about gender twisting examples, but previous versions of this game show a lot of options.
It'll be up this week, just need to work on it.
The problem with UDC is that it had things defined from previous incarnations of the game. If it was year one it would've been a lot different. I don't deny I'm micromanaging Gotham or Batman's family of characters. Believe me I've heard the criticisms and would have taken no offense to your own. I have been nothing but courteous and neutral here, shame that you see it as a hostile attack.

Again, cheers.
I think you are being too overcautious where it conflicts with the fun of what alternate universe role-plays are. It's fine to have a strict outline of the beginning but to put so many walls for everybody takes out the endless possibilities of an AU sequence of role-plays can have. You shouldn't be worrying about conflict once the role-play is going as at that point its branching out into it's own reality and that is the fun in playing these sort of things. Being ruled by canon detracts from it.

Either way, that's not the reason I'm not coming back to this RP, but here is some outline expressions:

1) I defined two characters I really like for this particular timeline and I'm not going to create new characters right now.
2) We have only started this thing about a month ago, I do not like it when a perfectly semi-active RP is "cancelled" out of nowhere.
3) I can't muster interest for Aegon's Conquest.

Hope you all have fun though.
I can make appropriate edits to my sheets in the repository at any time as well so if something doesn't mesh I can maybe work something out.

Martin hasn't written a short story on the Conquest.

But he's written the outcome. So why does it matter if he hasn't written a short story?

I know, but another important question was just asked:Oh, no. Nononono. Before anything even starts I'd say it's 50/50 odds.We aren't looking to re-tell Martin's Conquest. We have given the players A LOT of power in deciding where things go. Politics will never mean more, and everyone starts with at least one army in the field.

Devil's advocate, You seemed pretty firm on "not stepping on Martin's toes" with this game. So why is it different with this next one?
I don't know if I want to shelf all the work I put into this RP (family trees, Blackfyre specific characters, characters I like in the lines of Byron and Edwina) to go to another timeline even if the CS's are less extensive.
That's fine by me.
