You should look at my new account, I think.

You're character, despite being a female, is still a Blackwater. The disgruntled Gorgon lords would probably rather see a woman on the throne then a Briar, but more then that they would probably try to wed themselves to you, which would give their House a claim on the throne. My recommendation would be to play out either the Valeal / Valaria storyline for a while, while subtly leaving a papertrail of your lineage. That way when someone puts the clues together and discovers a Blackwater is still alive, the news will reach Gorgon and a hunt will likely begin between the Briars and the Blackwater Loyalists to see who can get to the claimant first.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. I'm not sure how I'm going to do the snippets of a papertrail but perhaps my co-writers and yourself will have some interesting suggestions for that. Right now, it's getting her into the Valeal/Valaria arc stuff.
EDIT: Where would be the easiest location to set my second character? I'm thinking the coast of Valaria as opposed to Gorgon because Ink and I are sort of planning to collab there, and I would like to keep my characters separate.

Well, I don't have shitall planned for what Edessa will be doing (like I said Blackwater nonsense may come to her later, but for now she's pretty much distant from that conflict).
First half of Edessa/Ilayna's bio is amended, now I have to fill in the "what she did from age eight to age twenty-four" blanks and design narrative after that.

Originally my idea was to group up (somehow) with the people in Valaria/Valeal before going into the Gorgon plot stuff, but I'm not sure how tangible that is. Feel free to workshop/suggest stuff to help me there. I'll be working on the rest of the bio right now.
There is a pretty big age differential between you and Lucian, who are siblings. I would recommend somewhere in your Bio you mention that your father remarried a younger woman, which would make the age gap more plausible. Also, you need to change around the years a little. The earliest you can be born is 18 years ago, meaning you were conceived the prior year, but born when your father went to war. Since the coup began two years after your father left, and ended with his death the third year, I would recommend you say your character left Gorgon around age 2 or 3, since you currently say she left at age 6 (meaning they lingered for a few years after Briar took the throne)

I'm refitting my character to be around twenty-four or so years of age, and in my bio it mentions that she has "Of course, she was far behind in the line of succession with three elder brothers ahead of her" meaning that there's plenty of room for her age gap given Lucian is the eldest.

This all making my character eight years old when the coup occurred and all that.
I've begun on retroactive edits regarding my character's age and background.
I made a Blackwater before it was cool.
Oh yeah, feel free to add me to skype or whatever if you guys want to and such. Always welcoming for better communication.
Noted, though I would like to hear from Brand on a rough timeline of said events so I don't have to retcon/fix it later. But once I get some time I will start effective edits.
If you insist on your character being eighteen years old ( and having a twenty seven year gap with her eldest brother), she would have to be a baby, yet I still do not see it working out for you. Perhaps you should increase her age slightly, say, make her twenty and make her guardian set off on the road with her while she's a baby or even in her mother's womb, but her mother dies during childbirth (for the sake of drama).

A timeline section in the OP would be useful, eh?

But, I think she was old enough to have been born a few years before the royal incident (5-10 years old). So how old exactly am I looking at here given those preferences? Once I get the information, I will edit her age and fill in young adult bio stuff.

Though if I threw away that preference and go with the "she was an infant" as you suggested, I could do that. Just want to figure out my options.

Sorry, I forgot your CS was in here. You're welcome aboard. I still need to review the newly submitted CS's, Ie Reaper and Tali's second character.

Yay! and stuff.

CS Link for accessibility.

If anybody has thoughts/peer review or general conversation of the character sheet, that'd be helpful if consensus thinks I should touch it up or whatever. If it's fine as is, I'll try shotgunning plot ideas once tabletop night ends.
