EARLY LIFE ■ YEAR-YEAR The House of El’s history is one comprised of hope, wisdom, and faith. This is something Kara-El knew as she looked to her father, Zor-El. Raised on the planet Krypton, Kara had an idyllic childhood until her entire fate was changed when a great disaster began to tear through the planet.
The childhood of the girl of tomorrow was one of isolation, tragedy, and obscurity; which would very much explain the blonde-haired Kryptonian’s personality in the years to come. Kara’s father, Zor-El, was one of the brightest minds of his generation and alongside his brother were crucial to developments on their planet until the shadow of darkness befell it. Kara’s father was a very paranoid intellectual— something that would only become worse as before Kara reached her six cycle after birth something tragic and terrible occurred in Argos; his wife and the mother of his child had been murdered thus changing everything. At this point there was nobody to rein in his delusions or theories and on the shadow of a great crisis he refused to listen to even his own brother. The last thing Krypton knew of Zor-El was that he had locked himself and his daughter away in his laboratory rambling to himself about fate and danger.
Following the isolation, Kara found herself in an environment that was shaped around her father and his extensive educational process due to the fact that either the death of Alura had degraded him to lunacy or that he had deduced a crisis that would shatter the world; Kara was taught the latter. At such a young age, Kara didn’t really know how to come to terms with her mother’s death nor how to handle her tutelage by her father. The next few years for her were all planned subsequently through this tutelage and with Kara in mind, Zor-El began to toil with her genetics in the guise of medical checkups which would net her the engineered physiology. This engineer physiology would increase her brain functions, evolve her immune system, modify her perceptive capability, and much more. Kara didn’t understand why she would in time pick up on information from archives and instructional lessons at a faster level than before nor did she understand why she no longer became prone to illness; but she never thought much of it until much later in life.
In time, the crisis that Zor-El had predicted had come and the aged scientist made the decision to doom his daughter away to an alien planet with nothing and nobody. The last daughter of Krypton was placed in a hyperbolic sleep and placed in a illegally developed spacecraft destined to make sure that the House of El in the form of Kara lived to see the next cycle and damn the consequences. This starship would drift in space as it literally froze her in time until it landed in the star system known as Sol. Equipping her with a robotic AI with a recorded log from himself, he hoped Kara could make it out there with what he had given her. Much like Kal-El, Kara-El had been designated towards the planet known as Earth. However, due to a variety of complicated events she would never reach Earth until much later than anticipated.
UNBOUND ■ 2015-2016 Discovered and intercepted by Superman, Kara would awaken confused and with all of her senses absorbing the effects of Earth’s particular atmosphere and solar connection whilst awakened by a strange man bearing the symbol of her house on his chest; not a pleasant introduction at all. It would turn out that time would mend all wounds and the experience of at least having somebody that was of the House of El beside her would make it all the more easier. However this would come with consequences as her landing did not go unnoticed as SHIELD’s extraterrestrial division called SWORD, and Lex Luthor himself would investigate – a terrible precedent to the beginning of her time on Earth.
Initially this did not concern Superman, who had just discovered a connection that he thought he could never have. Under suggestion by Steel, he found he would have to prioritize her safety above all else which meant she had to be raised low-key like he had.
HOMECOMING ■ 2016-PRESENT With Supergirl now known as a public figure, things began to change as Metropolis— people were still unsure about Kryptonians especially following the Zod crisis that was dealt with sufficiently by her cousin. Political figures like G Gordon Godfrey sought to demonize the increasing nature of “child superheroes” as well as his delusions that the existence of Earth-based Kryptonians only preluded dangers they would bring to the planet as well as a belief that individuals like Superman sought to become their “new gods” and strip the powerless of their liberties.

SIMULATION ROOM - NEW ANCHORAGE
It had been only seven days since Sophia decided to deject herself from New Anchorage.
The events around New Anchorage had been… aggravating to Stein to say the least. Not only did their irate commanding officer decide to jump ship, the program had nearly collapsed into nothing after little than one mission with the group. It was a hard reality, but independent factions had to deal with this all the time— she knew that quite well considering during her time at Volkov she had read the reports and looked over the facts. Had Michael Graham not been hired in Sophia’s absence she most certainly would’ve spoken to the elders about taking lead; she certainly had the field experience compared to anybody else New Anchorage had even despite her lack of experience in other areas needed. But Graham had seemingly come out of nowhere when the opportunity opened and now he had restructured the operation as best he could in the time he had. But something smelled wrong… as it did when Sophia lied to her about the statistics of the previous mission she had inquired about— she just couldn’t place what was wrong with newly appointed Commander Graham.
But she knew something was up. Time would tell what it would be, perhaps.
A heavy breath left her lips as the doors to the simulation room opened, the female pilot and soldier walking forward— her hair cut short, dangling right below her neck unlike the long strands she had when she had entered the service of New Anchorage.
“You must be Stein Kalfox.”
Stein nodded as she looked to notice one of the pods, next to the one Elizabeth Jackspar had chosen. Seemed good enough. “I’ll take Pod A02.”
Mandated simulation was a familiar feeling that reminded her of home back in Magadan. Her last simulation in New Anchorage had been with Jan Van Gent and it was particularly brief. This was with what remained of the squadron. She went through the typical pre-setup of simulation as the machine soon began to whir back to life. Her brows narrowed as she prepared to focus on the simulation that had been prepared, eager to get back in the sense of things.
Lynette is the spitting image of her mother with long blonde hair and bolstering emerald green eyes, a fact that her father had trouble accepting for the majority of her life. With a bolstering personality, Lyn’s appearance seems to be just as bright and vibrant as she oozes confidence and an approachable demeanor. Given her athletic sensibilities and her father’s self-defense classes Lyn also has a healthy yet toned build that is the results of a lifestyle that has been consistently outdoors. Her preferences in clothing and appearance is simple considering she likes to be comfortable. It is with this in mind that she actively avoids tight dresses or superfluous fashion. A watch given to her from her grandfather and a locket that belonged to her mother seem to be the only things they have in common.

Lynette is many things; bold, loud, honest, cocky, lively, sarcastic, defiant, and excitable; but above all of those things she is resilient. For most girls, losing their mother when they were in elementary school would’ve resulted in a quiet and shy demeanor but for some reason Lyn’s outlook and personality has taken a turn in opposite directions. And for the most part, she’s been better for it and not dwelling on a terrible incident that happened in the fourth grade. But despite her forward-thinking and optimistic outlook, Lyn is not as impervious as she appears— emotions flare easily for her and while she can outwardly laugh at them in public that is not to say in private she is so well put-together as she seems.
Much like her father, Lynette has a bit of a short fuse and as such can crack under the fumes of her temperament as she turns emotionally compromised and needlessly volatile. If she gets mad she gets mad. Much like her father, Lynette has a bit of a short fuse and as such can crack under the fumes of her temperament as she turns emotionally compromised and needlessly volatile. If she gets mad she gets mad. This tends to cause friction between her and others but generally those she calls friends have understood how Lynette is that she can be talked down from her hot-blooded impulses; though there have been exceptions where it has made the emotional young girl react even worse. But no matter how mad Lynette gets it is very apparent that she cares more about her friends than her own anger issues and if she offends one of those she is close to she will immediately apologize when she realizes she has done them wrong.
Beyond her anger there exists a girl that is over-confident with a huge bluster, a personality that has made it easier for people to talk to her even though her loud, honest, and bold personality is often littered with sarcastic and defiant retorts or language.
Short Bio
Lynette was born in Millington around fifteen years ago, the second child between Detective Henry Weston and Michelle Weinhardt.
Up until Lynette was nine years old she lived an active life that was entirely mundane; active in youth activities such as soccer, softball, volleyball, biking, and hiking. Whereas some of her closest friends sat bored on their porches, stowed away in their bedrooms, or wandered around the local downtown aimlessly Lynette dedicated herself to finding something fun and adventurous to do consistently. Even with the death of her mother when she was nine years old, Lynette didn’t seemingly change— as long as she had her friends there would be no reason she couldn’t escape.
Upon going into High School, things haven’t changed very much for Lynette— she’s still into escapism, adventurous activities, and sports; seemingly apathetic towards that adulthood is right around the corner. As her father continuously gets lost in his work as a police detective and is still desperate to solve her mother’s murder, Lynette tries to remain focused on the present rather than the past. Her maternal grandfather, Matthias Weinmann offers to her work at the Fruitvale Orchard when she is ready for the responsibilities; and while the prospect is a new adventure Lynette wants to keep seeing what 2016 brings her before jumping into it.
Her grandfather on her mother's side owns a farmstead on the outside of Millington that specializes in grapes and has its own winery.
Her father is a police detective in Millington, possibly higher up if the role hasn't been filled up.
Her mother died when she was in elementary school.
She likes sports, fun, and stuff.
Her favorite artists are Kacey Musgraves, Paramore, and Neko Case.
One of the oldest enterprises in Millington is The Fruitvale Orchard— an orchard that is nearly as old as Millington’s own town hall. Located in the northeastern outskirts of Millington, Fruitvale is an equal opportunity employer that serves the greater area with large production of wine, juice, pie, and other products.
The Weinhardt family while quite well off still attributes itself as “working class” and is hardly the richest or the most powerful dynasty in Millington.
Edward Weston: Lynette’s grandfather on her father’s side— Chief of Police of Millington.
Edward “Eddie” Weston, Jr: Lynette’s uncle— police detective.
Henry Weston: Lynette's father and a seasoned police detective and official of the Millington PD who pretty much has had talks with the majority of the older residents of Millington at one point or another.
Benjamin Weston: Lynette’s older brother, lives out-of-state as he studies forensic science at a college level.
Jonathan Weston: Lynette’s younger brother, aged 13.
Miranda Weston: Lynette's youngest sister, aged 10.
Matthias Weinhardt: Lynette’s grandfather on her mother’s side— and the owner of The Fruitvale Orchard & Winery.
Brandon Weinhardt: Lynette’s uncle, works at The Fruitvale Orchard & Winery in Sales Administration.
Eloise Weinhardt: Lynette's aunt, works at The Fruitvale Orchard & Winery in Quality Control.
Gregory Weinhardt: Lynette’s uncle, lives in another city.
Kevin Weinhardt: Lynette's uncle, works at The Fruitvale Orchard & Winery in Accounting.

Age
18
Appearance
Miriam is a girl who has a quiet, but warm charming look to her appearance with dark black hair and gray-blue eyes. To put it simply, Miriam holds subtle if melancholy expressions as a standard which has gotten many people to presume that she is depressed, antisocial, or odd. When it comes to her preferences in appearance she is much like her physique— modest, unassuming, and simple. She finds little sense in overzealous fashion and due to her lower income-based childhood she finds little reason to change now. You will find her clinging to the same shirts, jackets, hats, pants, and skirts she stuck to in high school.

Record Store Clerk
Personality
Miriam has “girl next door” written all over her from her head to her feet. A quiet yet kind girl, her siblings believe her to be impossible to make spiteful or angry. Though despite her amusingly long fuse it is clear that she does have emotions and feelings as much can be heard by her output through her music. Though as much as she is kind, tolerant, and supportive— Miriam is introverted, fearful, and sad beyond her facade of surface appearances; but she doesn’t view that she wants to burden anyone with the knowledge she isn’t completely happy on the inside as it would do more harm than it is good. Additionally, Miriam has a sort of quirky sense of humor that while it rarely comes out due to her lack of a “real” social life does exist— of which can be occasionally heard in her lyrics.
As aforementioned, Miriam’s has a passion for music and this goes beyond her own songwriting but also on sounds she surrounds herself to cope with her inner feelings— sometimes going into a solitary safe zone in her closet with a pair of headphones and a blanket. Perhaps it is a point that due to her lack of a huge group of friends, no romantic relationships, and a lack of social aspirations that she connects with music in the way that she does. Her siblings say she is talented in “playing, singing, and knowing”. Whilst she is far from a music critic or historian, she has poured over books and articles to give her a comprehensive understand of her preferred styles and groups of artists who inspire her as well as comfort her. If there was no music, Miriam would not know what to do.
Due to her father’s sense of overbearing safety, Miriam has been taught with how to defend herself with fist or handgun— a fact that may seem odd given her demeanor and appearance. Her small frame might strike a bit harder than whoever attacks her may presume. Though despite this “training” Miriam is not privy to handguns, she doesn’t like holding them and she certainly doesn’t care for shooting them; the same extends to brawling. But if the fight is forced out of her, perhaps she may find herself thinking differently.
Short Bio
Miriam was born in Millington eighteen years ago, the third of a bundle of six. But much like many families in Millington, the Pryde Family had a legacy although small.
As far as anyone can tell, Miriam’s childhood was mundane and quiet. She grew up surrounded by music and books and was never a considerably active child as she preferred her thoughts and space far more than engaging with other children. There were exceptions of course that forced her to break out of her “shell” but generally she’s always been the quiet girl next door who was bookish and shy. Some of her family and friends have attempted to get her to be more active in her passions but for the most part she has kindly rebuffed the chance to do so— this passion being of course songwriting, composition, and analysis of music. Whilst she has lacked the drive to perform in public or show others her body of work there is an inkling inside her that wants to but she has reservations that are far stronger than such desires.
The fading enterprise of her family’s business always in the background, Miriam tried to focus optimistically on the present as her childhood passed her by— the contents of it as mundane as any other. Following High School she ended up a full-time employee at the family business. As she sells records during her regular shift she tries to move through life one day at a time.
Established in 1972 by her grandfather, Theodore Pryde Sr., Pryde Records started as an enterprise to produce records in the Millington area to be the voice of a booming west coast brand of country-tinged folk, soul, and blues artists that became prominent in the area. Much like Muscle Shoals in Alabama— there was a sound and a recipe for art blooming in this small town. However, that legacy would not last forever— a fact that became obvious long before Miriam’s birth when the “peak” of the Millington Sound and Pryde Records ended around 1985. But while Pryde Records became less relevant it did not go bankrupt nor did the Pryde family end up with nothing. A fact that would be fortunate by the time Miriam was born and her grandfather was on his last legs.
Theodore “Ted” Pryde, Jr: The patriarch of the family, and Miriam’s father— runs the family business, a music studio and record store called Pryde Records; a small independent outfit. The business hasn’t been run very well following the murder of Ted’s brother, Jim, fifteen years ago. The business is currently profitable but not to so much that the Pryde family lives in luxury.
Rebecca Pryde (ne. Jamieson): Miriam’s mother— works at the studio/store as a manager.
Jeremiah Pryde: Miriam’s eldest brother, works with his parents at Pryde Records.
Jeffery “Jeff” Pryde: Miriam’s second oldest brother and a waiter at “Giovanni’s Italian Restaurant”, went to college for the culinary arts and is trying to move up the ladder.
Jessica Pryde: Miriam’s younger sister, a junior in High School.
Alexander Pryde: Miriam’s younger brother, a freshman in High School.
Edward “Eddie” Pryde: Miriam’s youngest brother, is in the seventh grade.
Alfred Jamieson: Miriam’s grandfather on her mother’s side— a stodgy old man who refuses to retire from his post as a High School teacher. Teaches Literature to the 10th Grade students.
Michael Jamieson: Miriam’s uncle, works as an acting agent in Hollywood.
