That was almost a page on banners, yeah. Real productive. About as productive as my promises.
I make my own with picfont.
I know this might sound like a surprise coming from me, but I don't think about post headers too much.

The information Diana received from the lasso of truth was fruitful, but not as telling as she would’ve liked. Whoever was behind the attacks on Kaznia’s citizens and infrastructure was smart enough not to have told Giganta much; a fact that was a bit worrying to the amazon.

Doris had received an advance of two hundred and fifty thousand dollars to come to Kaznia and deal with Wonder Woman from a pay advance that was supposedly only five percent of the total cash reward. Diana didn’t need to do math to know that was quite the reward for dealing with her— though it seemed whoever hired Doris had not read reports about the villain’s success rate in her bouts with Diana previously. But the “whoever” it was knew that hiring one of Wonder Woman’s enemies might result in a confession through the lasso of truth, so when they approached Doris with this cash advance it was done completely quietly and discreetly. The only thing Doris could tell her was that the individual that hired her was male and that upon completion she would await a phone call.

Unfortunately, that didn’t give her much of a lead.

Diana tightened her hold on the size-changing metahuman with a frown, “I was hoping you could tell me more, Doris.”

“Well, if I could I would; your little rope makes sure of that.”

Diana could feel her annoyance, and it was one she was quite used to with those that found themselves on the other side of her lasso. “Indeed, the lasso tells all.”

“Before we end this conversation—”

Diana looked back towards the damage the duo’s fight had caused on the city of Zvono. The damage had been excessive as it always had been in the past when Diana came to blows with Doris at her peak height. But Gateway City had insurance as set up by the United States Congress following the years of superhero-related damages. Kaznia was barely a second world country in a small stretch of Serbian-controlled Europe. Diana always found herself not proud of the damage done from her getting involved with criminals and this was no exception. She knew how to fight Doris; she could’ve ended it faster.

She looked back towards Doris. “—what ever gave you the idea that you can take me on alone?”

The lasso didn’t need to hue in mystical gold, Doris intended to speak the truth in this answer; a wicked truth accompanied by a smirk. Alone? Why would you ever think I was in this by myself? You cannot be that stupid.”

“Doris.” Diana’s brows narrowed. “Where are they?”

“Ask the Royal Family.”

Diana nearly threw her knee into her nemesis’ face upon her smug albeit truthful reply. She drew back the lasso in quick succession. Whilst Doris was in no shape to run or change size, she would recover and a Kaznian jail cell wouldn’t hold her… or it wouldn’t for long. She couldn’t personally escort her across the Atlantic Ocean to proper accommodations with more pertinent matters to take into her hands— she was too short on time. As Diana took to the skies she mentally kicked herself for not thinking what her presence would do in Kaznia; whoever had arranged these attacks were moving up their schedule while she was distracted. A smart move, but one that made her livid.

She just hoped she would be there to help Princess Audrey in time.

That must have been one long breakfast.

Would you believe me if I said I got distracted?

working on it right now I swear

STEIN KALFOX

“Greed is so destructive. It destroys everything.”
E A R T H A K I T T

SIMULATION ROOM - NEW ANCHORAGE

The simulation had carried on.

Stein Kalfox found herself particularly impressed on the able distraction Elizabeth had brought, though due to a lack of communication wasn’t sure what specific enemy had caused her partner in the simulation to go dark. It was something she would have to work on if the squadron had any hope of cohesive progress on future missions. If there was anything that simulations were good for it was knowing the weakness of your comrades without the risk of loss of life; something she was glad she did not have to discover in the field. However, the blonde-haired mech pilot was far away being “happy” with the results of the scenario. She had known that Blur had been in trouble and had tried to cohesive rush through the enemies in front of her to get to support her comrade. But she had been too slow— it had been her failure. Even with the fact in consideration that their squad had gone from a decent size to only three people seemingly overnight, there was no question in Stein’s mind that those factors didn’t matter when she failed her partner.

There was no excuses about it; a thought that carried with her up until the simulation ended.
ZFFT!

“I’m pretty impressed, Ms. Kalfox! With only one minute to spare and you took down an opponent who seemed to have all of the advantages.”

Stein’s expression was nothing but displeasure as Dr. James Lofgren spoke her accolades in her upbeat congratulatory tone— accolades she did not seem to hear as Stein removed herself from the simulation equipment and ran her hands across her face. The young woman didn’t feel good about the situation at all and found herself disjointed and numb. Despite “finishing” the scenario she didn’t feel comfortable with the way things went in any way or form and kept going through her thoughts of how she could've formulated a better tactic or had been faster to aid in the combat scenario her comrade had found herself in. There had to be something.

“I failed.” She muttered under her breath, “I will accept full responsibility for the failure. I will take whatever discipline that command deems worthy.”

It was then that there was a silence between pilot and scientist for a brief moment. Dr. Lofgren did not expect to hear those words out of a pilot’s mouth who technically “won”, but there was something else to it and she felt an unnerving energy as her eyes met Stein’s own. The dulled… almost lifelessness to them took her out of her element for a minute. She felt it difficult to reply to Stein, let alone comprehend one.

“Am I dismissed?”

“Y-Yes. You can go.”

Stein blinked and nodded, leaving the room.

As the doors opened and closed behind Stein, Dr. Lofgren leaned back on the table and let out a loud breath of relief. The tension she felt… what was that? How was she going to mention this in her statistical report to Commander Graham? However she did it, she knew he wouldn’t wait much longer after it became clear the simulation time was over. Moving her attention back to the monitor she bit her lip as she thought about the two female pilots.
For the record, there is a lot of fallacies presented in the criticism that was written. Glided Throne has never "emphasized realism" as this RP before launch was clearly a medium-level fantasy affair which was actually what drew me in originally. You can be certain that the GM's involved are looking at every concern and development carefully in the hopes for this to be a long-lasting game. We can understand the pace can seem mammoth-like at times, but it is first week rush so a lot of that is to be expected.

Thanks for not completely torching the forest. It does actually have a lot of value to Tellaria.

One fire isn't going to take down a forest of that size, I wager, anyway.

BTW: "Odvin, 7th of Gerna 1200 AU - 06.03.1200" date is worth an edit...
The IC took of quicker than I had anticipated. With the IC as far as it is right now and my lack of time to put into this at the moment, I'm gonna have to drop from this. No offense or pun intended. Just the ferocity this took off with and my increase to fourteen hour work days I can't do it. My apologies.

Don't let it intimidate you, GM's can work around your schedule. Huge rushes like this, I find in my experience, are temporary and things slow down quite quickly. If you're still out good luck on your future writing endeavors.
