The Sins of Chaos and the Virtues of Harmony are forces we still don’t understand. These fragments of energy became latent artifacts with medium's that kept the three worlds connected known as The Force of Eternity. This Force were discovered by peoples unknown; but the current peoples of Ehki and Lazeruzi inhabit runes of their nature and worship them. The danger of these runes is that they overwhelming of power and domination of their nature.

Chaos – Lazeruzi.
Harmony – Ehki.

The fragments of the realms of daemos and ancestros split their energies into two halves: chaos and darkness from daemos, harmony and light from ancestros. The true power of “heaven” and “hell” is hard to place, but what is known is that there are ways to tap into the celestial bodies and the spirits that inhabit there. The first creatures of daemos (perverted souls) and the first creatures of ancestros (benevolent souls) gave their gifts to the first men who touched their realm and it almost destroyed the world. The aftermath however has created several holy orders such as the Hunters of Kael’van and the Holy Order of warrior monks that hails from Rakir. The accursed worshipers from the various parts of the worlds though do ultimately still exist despite their obscurity….

Darkness - Domain: Sin - capable of curses, hexes, demonic binding, etc.
Light - Domain: Virtue - capable of blessings, healing, ancestral summoning, etc.

Holy - blessing, healing, smites; the basic paladin skillset. More connected to Ancestros (the celestial plain of heaven) then the Virtues of Harmony.
Harmony - raw energy, the antithesis to chaos energy: can be molded into barriers, projected attacks, energy bombs.Connected to the Virtues of Harmony.

Actually this makes me realize I made a minor whoopsie: holy/dark and harmony/chaos are supposed to be seperate magics... will fix.

Also a little bit of a breakdown....

This Force was discovered by four races: the ehki, rakir, lazeruzi, and uburu. Each of these would hold on to the runes of which they held (ehki with harmony, rakir with light, lazeruzi with chaos, and uburu with darkness). The danger of these runes is that they overwhelming of power and domination of their nature.

Chaos Magic is a sort of red colored generic energy, it is innately corrupting as mentioned outside of the race that FOUND the rune of chaos. So other races that aren't the Lazeruzi will feel a sort of sickly radiation when they are attacked or near an abudnance of chaos energy. Harmony is more-or-less the same in the opposite field (blue colored generic energy).

Holy and Dark magic are sort of malleable multi-purpose curses and blessings (as well as summons, divine/demonic magic, etc) that are colored white and black respectively. They have the same radiative effect, etc etc.

However this is not to say there havent been chaos/harmony/dark/holy users of different races/cultures-- but it slowly corrupts or "enlightens" them depending on the frequency of use; changing their mental state and even their personality. For example in one RP, a mercenary named Marlux got a hold of a chaos artifact he began to use and his brain over-time gave in to impulses, hunger for chaotic results and actions, and ultimately made him insane.

I'd wager not since they are tied into a force that is ruled by the aspects of virtue. Though I imagine characterizations are a lot more complex than "saturday-morning evil" and "lawful stupid", it's likely there could be a priest who follows the path of light who is zealous to the point of murder but still believes in helping people and such.

Though that's not to say harmony is GOOD, as the virtue of justice is as ruthless as the sin of wrath can be.

This sounds like the perfect idea for an RP! If there's still room, then I'd like to try for a place - a long-running roleplay is something that I've been trying to find for a while.

At this moment I'm not even thinking of capping population of the playerbase as I don't know the skill level, general activity, or creative ideas of the players interested just yet. So for now its sort of a "feel free to be interested! =D" thing.
