Personally? We didn’t really find much right with the CS at that end, and one of the moderation staff members noted that it was particularly difficult to read at times due to the lack of English grammar (I understand that juggling different laws of different languages is a feat in itself, but I’ve known people who’ve I’ve RPed with from foreign lands who don’t have this much difficulty grasping it). But its not just grammar; it's fluidity, formatting, and structure that leaves it all very so much jagged to the tongue. There’s also concerns of narrative and other stuff and some of us don’t feel entirely too confident and I’m not letting every CS in on a pass—that takes the enjoyment out of it for some of the other players, which as I’ve had, have discussed that with me. Though you are not convincing me with statements such as “that I could teach you where to place a comma” – do you want me to retort that we are not using Scandinavian grammar laws here? Do you wish for dramatics? I don’t want dramatics and I do not want to burn bridges.
I will not argue beyond this. I've told you what is and I will NOT drag the RP down over back-and-forth arguing.

On pending CS’s from: Thatguy and Ben.
I feel a little divided on this one as I have no doubt of the enthusiasm and drive for Ultimate DC in the last few seasons though I do feel I have to stress that while I don’t want to come off as being opposed to Andy’s (and Master Bruce’s) inclusiveness – I feel that to up the quality control of this as a roleplay I have to put some objectivity in the ballpark and concern myself with grammar/spelling and narrative. For Ben, there’s a lot that I see that need to be went over—may I suggest a word processor or something of that effect that covers grammar as well? I don’t want to bar people from the roleplay, but I want to push it to a quality that some of the people I’ve consulted with desire and I can’t promise them quality like this. This is not an outright denial, but I’d like to see more out of the applications (both of them) before I make comments of consideration.
I am not Andy, but I am not Thrawn – so I think I offer a comfortable middle when I ask for a little more than last time. However, I will stress that this isn’t a developmental circuit either. If you want to run in this low advanced / high casual roleplay then let’s show me that dedication; if not, then perhaps down the line after some more time and development I’d have changed my tune. I apologize if this seems overly non-inclusive, firm, and shattering – but I made a promise to myself and the players when this responsibility got handed to me and I’m trying to go for it.
The word of the day is Quality Control and I do not know how to enforce it without burning bridges. I hope that much is understood. I know that this seems to go against "have fun"... but I've always felt we should strive for something more than careless fun when sitting down to write something together where it is fun for all. I hope that isn't seen in a negative way.
I am in the chat if informal chat is more appropriate, but otherwise 'tis my judgement.
TLDR – Revise your apps, work on grammar & spelling, show me a sample with a little more drive or convince me through other means that you're still able to commit to this game.

Edit: The sample shows some narrative I particularly look forward to reading and all of it seems to check out. The Gypsy / The Spirit (with a dash of Nightshade/Shade) blend is particularly interesting and I can't wait to see where you take it on with. Accepted.

I'd like to see more dealing with the details of Slade's backstory; why he killed the Mirakuru project leaders, why he turned to mercenary work (and how, you need a handler or a broker). Perhaps detailing the torture they endured as well. Also a more detailed sample would help too since you tried to impress me last game so why stop now?
