Shizuka Nadra

“Would I be correct in guessing that?”

Mako’s perception was sound, Nadra nodding in addition to replying to the inquiry. “Yes.”

Though, she did find it curious how a genin like Kato would have helped at all in the events that preceded the present, especially enough to make an off-hand comment to her in particular about it. Did he need to assert that he had been helpful in the past? She didn’t understand it, but if she was curious enough to voice such thoughts it would have to be done at a better time as the training request from their jonin-sensei was at hand and she definitely should not distract more of her attention. It was then that Nadra intently watched Kato’s tactical forwardness as he went second after Muto Tahekiko.

“I think it is Nadra’s turn.” Mako huffed as he finished his battle, the white-haired girl nodding in mild reply.

“Shizuka Nadra. Your turn.”

The voice of her jonin-sensei did not create a sense of dread, fear, or nervousness in the young genin as she nodded as she took a step forward. Such sense were not reminiscent of a ninja from the clan of Shizuka and this was a blatant fact that the girl embodied as her brows narrowed. Even with her short conversation with her teammate, Daiki Kato, Nadra’s eyes had been noting over each individual duel with her sensei’s shadow clone which brought interesting results as both of her genin teammates took on the offensive which made their energy at the end of it rather tapped, almost pointlessly so in her eyes.

“Right.”

Moving her hands in a defensive stance she attempted to perceive how to provoke the shadow clone to come to her rather than coming to it and wasting her reserves. Nadra kept silent as she began to at a distance circle the shadow clone, though all that did was make the clone itself rotate and watching the girl as it was perhaps used to the genin to charge in so Nadra’s more seemingly defensive tactic was different to say the least. As she bided her time she began to move her chakra forward quickly and efficiently in her body. It did not take long for her jonin-sensei’s shadow clone to change tactics to adapt, of which Nadra believed a good tactic was to use was to use Bunshin no Jutsu mixed with Kawarimi no Jutsu and flanking the shadow clone of her sensei from there with a strong swift motion of variable taijutsu strikes with her chakra infusing each strike. “It could work.” She thought about the tactic she had devised, knowing full well her sensei was more experienced and wiser at that so it wouldn’t be so blatantly simple.

She didn’t have much time.

Moving her hands in the appropriate hand-signs, Nadra went to work and in a puff half-a-dozen Nadra’s were now on the field and through some movement the original, non-clone, was no longer where she was in the first place. If she happened to be struck instead of her clones a chunk of log would be struck instead of her and then she would strike as she had planned—if one of her clones alternatively would’ve been struck she would ignore the replacement jutsu step of her tactic.

The shadow clone moved forward and did as she thought—changing from defensive to offensive and as she thought her true form was not well-concealed enough from their perception; it was a good thing she planned for that and as she jumped back with great dexterity more attacks from the shadow clone kept coming in of which Nadra was dodging well-enough until about the fifth strike at her defense of which her form flickered and the chunk of wood from the nearby forest was struck in her place. It was here that—from the shadow clone’s flank she came in with a powerful spinning low kick, also known as Kumo Reppū, a technique that was created by her father after he had fought ninja from the Hidden Leaf Village and developed it as an emulation. It was pretty much exactly like the Leaf Gale, except Nadra knew the technique. Surprisingly, the blow landed and the shadow clone dispersed as in mid-air his head caught a nearby tree with great force—perhaps only been supplied with enough energy to take a certain amount of blows or even just one? Tahekiko did take it down rather quickly himself after the shadow clone kept up with his strikes for the most part. Nadra did not trust it, either way, and felt a sense of caution would be best from here on. However, unlike Tahekiko she took this calmly and without and air of overconfidence as her eyes moved to her sensei while her ears kept alert for any other attacks—the shadow clone could’ve tricked her into victory. Though when no flanking occurred she walked over to the line and bowed to her sensei with respect. It was only then that she dispersed the remaining clones she had held on the field.

“I anticipate the next one, jonin-sensei.”

What about Wrath?

There's a lot more to evaluate with that one, we'll be sending you a PM as Rade said.

With the gangs & leaders I was just intending to follow your lead, unless you had a storyline you wanted told as a tie-in or something. I just didn't want to mess up any storylines you had planned by mentioning them. I wasn't ever going to say that they didn't exist or weren't a factor at all, just that they're not 'my' immediate focus. Outside Bat-rogues, I figured that hunting down 'The Heart of Darkness' could be a fun time. Maybe he could even be hired to catch certain other targets, like Superman's Bloodsport, or Toyman, perhaps Solomon Grundy would also do well, as might The Flash's Double Down, Deadshot, or Captain Boomerang. If your problems would be easier to digest or are better suited elsewhere, feel free to shoot me a PM.

Lol, I'm not putting my life on a soapbox. Of course a lot of that would depend on core player approval, but as per now looks fairly good so you can get started.

I thought your issues breathing came from the fact you're really a grotesque mass of tentacles?

I like where this is going.

I'm thinking your character should probably be on the same ship as Vakte. That way it's easy to get you both in the game and it gives you two something to write while we get to you!

Works for me.
I'll sit on and think on concepts after I post in all of the ultimate comics games. I think I found a way to combat my writers block. :3
Totally unsure about this PM in my inbox, lul
I want to get Merlin back in swing, but life's a ho.

The comments shot at Kara-El from the super-powered criminals didn’t faze her, of which she made blatantly clear as she kept an un-faltered expression as her eyes shot back at them. The persona that the media expected from Superman and his relatively new sidekick was one that was an unwavering representation of the gold standard of morality—this gold standard was something that was still very alien to Kara, but her cousin who echoed as more of a guardian and father figure tried to make her understand that as best as he could.

Kara’s mind shot to the matter at hand as Superman warned her of the man that radiated crimson but before she could dread or even act about the red-veined criminal he was quickly and efficiently cast down by a lugged cactus from The Atom, this of course caused him great pain but it was his friend that emitted green that Kara had to be focused on and the young kryptonian knew that. Understanding that he had to be dealt with immediately Kara’s mind shot to the thick vault door that could easily contain him until specialized police could detain him which to her was a sound plan, but the fact that they dealt Superman a tough hand earlier caused a sense of intimidating tension in the young girl’s mind. In a blur Kara sped to the metal and retrieved the door as she pinned the green-veined one to the floor with the metal before carefully rolling it around him. This of course, did make Kara rather drained with just being so close to a sensational energy that made her to a point rather nauseated. Backing off, she took some distance and moved her glance back to Superman.

Was that it?

“I think that’s all of them.” Kara stated with a smirk, keeping her composure around the hostages.
I would first-off, respectfully apologize that it’s taken two weeks but you must understand that I have an entire household on my head and I’m still unemployed so there’s a lot of stuff I have to deal with in a day-to-day unless you want me to completely abandon responsibility though I do agree I could devote more time (more than once a day) to my guild duties, especially in the Ultimate games. I did not inherit Ultimate DC to throw it away in a fit of inactivity. Believe me, any thoughts you have are my thoughts. Anyway, on to my thoughts about the CS.

Honestly, I think it’s the best CS you’ve put in that I’ve seen yet, despite some comic book conventions (but are we not a comic book roleplay?) buried in-between. Though I am most curious with how you intend to write/paint Bludhaven with your stories regarding Blake without 100% resorting to Batfamily rogues? I mean yes, this is the city of Nightwing in the comics so this is pretty much a Batfamily rogue-centric city, but I’m leaving a lot of room for imagination with it. How are the refrences towards ultimized Tarantula (John Law) going to fit in? or Black Mask? or Blockbuster? or the weakened Red Hood Gang?

I'm sure Rade has thoughts himself that he could publicly mention but so far its looking real good.
