Finn Mercer, as the costumed hero Sandstorm, walked cautiously down an alleyway on Craig Avenue, looking in every direction, searching for something that may tip him off on his enemy, Drop Bear’s, location. The large, grotesque, koala-like beast had been seen stalking a young couple for hours that morning, and the alarmed cries of the two loverbirds had alerted Sandstorm of the killer’s whereabouts. But, upon arriving at the scene, Drop Bear was out of sight, and the couple was reasonably unharmed and fleeing in terror.

Sandstorm walked to the end of the alley; it was a dead end, and the murderous mutant was nowhere to be seen.

“Bennett! I know you’re here, mate! Come out, you oversized koala!” yelled Sandstorm. Before being transformed into Drop Bear in a freak accident, Harry Bennett was a regular thirty year-old man, working at DSTO, Australia’s version of DARPA. The transformation not only severely changed his physical form, it also damaged his mind. Now only thinking of who to target as prey, Drop Bear actively pursues a vendetta against Sandstorm, who frequently got in the way of him and his prey.

“Look up, boyyyy,” drawled the mutant bear, dropping face-first from above Sandstorm, arms splayed out in front of the himself in an attempt to pin the sand-wielder to the ground. Quick to react, the young Australian hero swept his right arm in an upwards motion, simultaneously creating and flinging tendrils of scorching red sand at his attacker. Drop Bear instinctively put his hands up to guard his eyes from the sand, and, now unable to see, crashed to the ground right next to Sandstorm, who sidestepped to avoid the hulking frame of the man eating brute.

“Bennett, Bennett, Bennett… this is why you don’t support New South Wales. I may be from there, but Queensland will win State of Origin this year. Again. For the tenth time in a row. You gotta pick the right side, mate, and I’m telling you, New South Wales ain’t it,” said Finn in a patronising tone, piling sand down on Drop Bear so he couldn’t move.

“I… lived… in Queenslaaand…” droned the freak of experimentation.

“Oh. Well, then…” said Sandstorm, “Go Queensland!”

Piling more sand on Drop Bear until he wasn’t visible, Finn proceeded to change out of his costume into civilian clothes, before walking out into the Astro City streets, feeling like an out of place outback boy in an American metropolis.
Awesome, I'll try to get posts up for both RPs later today and if not then tomorrow.
I'm looking forward to continuing to RPing with you guys.
I'm sorry to say this guys, but I'm not feeling it for this RP. I love Assassin's Creed, and I love the cast of characters we have, but I don't feel any excitement for this anymore. Once again, sorry. Maybe kill Assim off in a horrific fashion after their first mission goes wrong, or something :P.

I hope to RP with you all in the future.

I'm on the pad...
Name - Kavud Huv (Known as Kav to most)

Age - 22

Sector - 3599

Homeworld - Ven

Personality - Conscientious, sociable, humble. The young Venan differs from the rest of his race in that he doesn't share their natural aggressive attitude. While most Venans would have policed a sector ruthlessly, Kav does so with a kindness, in that he would give people a chance to justify their actions before trying to negotiate a non-violent solution. This peacemaking attitude earned Kav the harassment and scrutiny of others back on Ven, harassment and scrutiny which he didn't miss and would rather forget. These moments of humiliation had helped shape a no-bullying attitude within Kav, one which he carries as one of his responsibilities as a Green Lantern. He also occasionally speaks in Venan tongue.

Experience - 2 months

Constructs - Paralysis Blast: A thin blast of energy that paralyses its target.
Willpower Barrage: A barrage of green energy that explodes upon contact.
Full Power Beam: A beam of energy that requires all of the ring's power. It's a very powerful attack, and factoring that with the power usage, Kav doesn't use it often.
Hand of God: A giant hand which Kav uses to manhandle and defend. Think a giant green floating rubber glove.
Cell Block: Complete with a password lock, Kav uses this to capture an enemy after he/she is incapacitated.

Former Occupation - Was a foot soldier in the Venan Defence Force.

Alien Power - Incredible Strength: Venans can lift over 40 tons, though they're obviously nowhere near as strong as Kryptonians.
Enhanced Reflexes: Venans can often see anything coming, be it a fist, a construct, or fast approaching meteor that was on its way to destroying a planet. However, if something was on their mind at the time, their reflexes would fail them, and they would be like any other person: relying on instinct.

Appearance - Something like this:

BRIEF Bio - Kavud Huv was born to highly-ranked warrior parents on the planet Ven. As a child he was trained harder than most Venan youngsters, treated harshly if he did not do as well as expected. This, and the observation of Venan cruelty on the battlefield, eventually led to Kav's pacifism in his teen years. This pacifism resulted in harassment from his peers, which eventually cemented a general dislike of Venians and an intolerance for bullying. At age sixteen, Kav was inducted into the Venan Defence Force, where he quickly found himself getting punished for refusing to engage in combat.

Flash-forward six years, and Kav is now in a platoon, fighting on the front lines of the second Venan War. Most of his unit was dead, only two others were left alive. An explosive projectile closed in on them from overhead. The two remaining soldiers didn't take notice... They were too busy mourning for their fallen teammates. Taking action, Kav tackled them both out of the way, a large crater now replacing them. Kav had saved their lives, though one was missing a leg, courtesy of the bomb. Later that day, a strange green ring found its way to Kav. Two months later, the young Venan is an active member of the Green Lantern Corps, policing Sector 3599.

Notes - Venans are a technologically advanced humanoid warrior race. Their social structure is made up of two classes- The Warriors and The Peasants, the latter being those who refuse to fight. Being a warrior race, war was bound to start, and there have been two Venan World Wars, if you will, to date.
Guys... I'm lonely and on the titanpad... JOIN MEH!
Sorry man, I have to vamoose to school in five or so minutes. I'll be on later today, if not then I can do the weekend, as I kinda sorta have a date tomorrow. Sorry 'bout that.
Nah, let's do it anyway. I'll be able to titanpad in seven hours, give or take, because school sucks.
The barrage of sound hurt. There was no doubt about it. Andy found himself on his knees the moment he walked into Grant Anders' room. The sound reverberated through his head, each time seeming louder than the last, the pain never ceasing until Grant changed the sound launching from the speakers to something a little more relaxing. Though the calm music was an improvement over the brain-sploding noise, there was still something about it that made Andy rather uncomfortable. After checking the touchpad on his forearm to see if Bill was still functional, Andy obeyed Anders' order to sit, waiting patiently for the intimidating head of FTL to finish doing whatever it was he was doing.

After a short while, Anders turned to Andy and told him to rest his case. The man seemed laid back and relaxed, but Andy couldn't help but feel the slightest bit threatened. 'Ooh boy,' he thought, Here goes my chance of getting funding.

"First of all, Mr. Anders, I am terribly, terribly sorry for barging in like this, it's just that Matheson was being a dick and I thought that you, his boss, would be more understanding of my need for the funding. Now, uh, for my proposal... I'm working on a movie, but I'm completely broke, and I really really believe in this project," Andy began explaining, his speech increasing in speed gradually as his nervousness grew. "The goal is to make the best action/thriller/martial arts movie ever, thraction arts, I guess, using footage taken from real life, which won't only add a bit more realism, but it'll also hopefully wake the public up to see how bad things really are here in Metropolis, and hopefully people will see enough of how crap it is here to take action against it and work together to make everything better."

Sweat trickled down his brow. His chest heaved up and down. Man, this persuading business was a bitch.

"I also have a camera drone, skills in martial arts and free running, which I can use to help you in I don't know what you need help in. Mr. Anders. Sir," he added, extremely desperate for the money. Hopefully it was enough. Andy didn't think he could argue his case any longer. Convincing was a very exhausting sport. All he could do was sit and stare at Anders in a respectful manner, hoping for the best.
Why did I post?
Because no one else will!
