I was think a depraved dwarf stripper

Than what will melon play? D=
ALL THE ARENA REGULARS

Well most of them

It's kind of sad that is mostly true. :K

How are we smaller than the tabletop community?

And America dangerous? Pfft, should take a trip to Australia, or Jamaica. Or heck Mexico. And I lived in Brooklyn, than again we did have 'firecrackers' literally every night...

Hmm This looks interesting. Still accepting players?

Sorry Skalla-kun.

You can't be the necromancer this time around.

Plus it's not like I didn't give warning. Also who's next anyway? Willy?

Also, I'd be amused if rain girl lost because she forfeited. We should really implement RP points or something. It will show everyone we're a legitimate RP section.

Probably.
<Snipped quote by GreivousKhan>

1. It was your turn.
2. I know you were online before this point.
3. Its a requirement of this RP to post within the three day limit, don't sign up if you can't meet it.

I can, doesn't mean RL stuff can't creep up that could not be foreseen.

Also, being online does not mean I can post.
Your turn Khan.

Hmm, what? No it's not.

Also, I can post sooner, you just need to bill me the funds for internet. Otherwise you wait on long weekends like everyone else.
Tordor studied these two women who had addressed him. One, as expected, seemed already rather hostile toward him fresh from talking to one of the large pillars of black liquid scattered about the landscape- for whatever reason. More interestingly by the looks of her, she seemed to be a dwarf-kin, much like those who inhabited Rhul in the east. A dwarf being present here wouldn't really surprise him. Yet, there was something very strange about this one. Strange attire and the odd pitch to her voice aside.

Then there was the stunning red-head who by all accounts looked human. However, Tordor could sense there was certainly something off about this one; he could sense a kind of affinity he could not rightly explain. It was at that moment a chill ran down his spine as he keenly felt not so much sensed the awakening of one of his more volatile spirit allies. Though ally was perhaps far too strong a word.

“Why do you still rely on your human senses? I see far more than any mere mortal”

The unmistakable haughty tone of the soul trapped within his sword echoed within Tordors mind. Instead of responding Tordor merely took the advice for what it was. All it took was getting himself into the right frame of mind. He blinked and suddenly the world around him took on strange new hues and colors. The very life force of his opponents became visible to him, or in the case of the red haired women, lack there of.

Amethyst fires blazed in the center of her being, unlike the bright blue auras that centered and pulsed from the dwarf and younger woman. Tordor knew the undead intimately enough to recognize when one was standing right in front of him. He also knew enough of people to realized from her question and apparent confusion, she wasn't aware of what she was apart of. But how could that be?

Tordor fixed his hat to his head more firmly as he placed his right foot behind him, to a keen eyed observer they would see his movement had incidentally made him a smaller target.“Well, it’s quite simple my dear,” He began. “You’ve been forced into a game of sport by some wanker called ‘The Liaison’ who happens to have few things better to do with his time. Still you're lucky, most in this kind of situation would have simply attacked you unprovoked. But I know a much better solution to our shared predicament.”

As he spoke he brushed off his sleeves and fixed their cuffs as if he were readying for some strenuous activity. “You need only vocally surrender and you're likely to be returned to exactly where you came from. The fella hates quitters but he’ll have no choice. Simple as pie.” He added with a wink.

“Bah, foolish mortal sentimentality.”
Hahaha, you remember that, huh?

Well, you'll actually be a bit stronger than previous ones, as is the norma for each chapter.

The thing is, most fnatasy RPs really just let people come in as trained mages and warriors, without regard to the fact most people in a resistance would probably be the every man. I'll have you all be trained in some way by different pockets of the resistance though, so you aren't super noobs.

--
Eclava: Main antagonist in the first three chapters. A drow that joined the Apotheosies at an early date. She is known as the executioner, and favors using what she calls an Executioner's axe to battle. She is adverse to cold weather and has a knack for experimentation when it comes to living subjects. With Ivan, she conquered Port Jinn, and without him Rocoa, and disrupted the summit.

Fananatu: a dragoniod that is a historian. He uses runes as his main form of offense. He is responsible for a jailbreak two years ago, as well as the resurrection of the Rocoan Chimera, which is now under his control. He is now accompanied by a Holy blind Man, that is immortal. He was third in command under Eclava's army, only beneath Eclava and Bastion, who was later promoted.

Saralix: An experiment by Eclava, effectively creating a Naga. She is almost entirely black, and a sexual sadist. She is obsessed/in love with Eclava.

Ivan: The second smartest man in the Apotheoses, and a healer. He is one of the Leaders of the Apotheoses. His main form of magic is healing, which has an addictive effect. The more people use it, the better they are even moreso than before, but he burns up their spirit doing it. This causes the addict to age prematurely until they die.

Bastion: A newly appointed leader, having gained the position two years prior. A master strategist, and minotaur. Current wielder of the Sargas Waraxe, which can only be wielded by those who win it in combat. He got it from killing his friend from behind. Bastion is a master level commander.

Falden: See Depo.

War Lords: There are several warlords, including a woman who slept with her commander to get his secrets, which he gladly gives her to make her seem legit, and a tengu/human pair, that are childish outside of battle. The Tengu manipulates paper, via transfiguration, and the human can affect ally willpower. Another warlord is an Undead Skinbeast, who wants Eclava's Axe.

The majority of the RP will take place in a jungle, picture to come, with a city that was built using the nature land instead of altering it to much, as well as a mountain if we make it that far.

What, being an adventurer is not a profession? :P

Though, logically everyday Joe does make sense, but it comes close to hitting the mark of what a fantasy setting really is. An escape from reality where your not just an average chump. :K

@GreivousKhan I am swamped in research atm. I have a working document on the Angar-Ryllan to give you. Either tonight or am tomorrow.

Perfect, like I said no rush.

Also to anyone who cares in other related news. I've thought up two more factions that should work will, along side the already established Angar-Rylla.

They don't have any ties to Roleplayer names of course. I tried getting a tie into with M.E.L.O.N. But NEVER GOT beyond 'Multiverse Elite Legionary'- bluh-bluh-bluh.

<Snipped quote by Descartes>

An arena based nation rp could work. Only focus on combat while building up small squads to fight for you. It's a fantasy world where the populations are small so the fights are manageable in arena format. Basically we'd be the generals and not the absolute dictators like how most nations work.

No.
@Descartes
@Dymion
I consider low powered to be comparable to Spider-Man.
I consider med powered to be comparable to Colossus.
I consider high powered to be comparable to Sentry.

This is not, however, a unanimous metric. Sometimes people consider my characters stronger, some consider them weaker. There is no unified opinion on the subject.

[EDIT:] And I'll be honest, the fact that people expect everyone to agree on it kind of pisses me off.

[Double EDIT:] This saltiness isn't directed towards the two of you, to be clear. It's incredibly hard to manage a metric among a group of people who, on average, argue more than any other group of roleplayers. Bringing it up tends to result in a long discussion about how it should work, and it ends up as a circlejerk of the same cyclical topics.

Someone has never done much Nation RP's before. Especially sci-fi ones.
