Sixth off, Grey's a bitch.
no u.
Those character pictures on the top of the Character page tho... Luc, I think I love you.
Thank ERode, he's the one who made them.
Oh my gosh you just led me to the perfect answer zombeh , one simple word. Geass Would any of the gms be against the school using a geass to bind Amon to not harming students? If so I think I might have the last fix I need for my cs.
Eh, like, mythologically speaking you can't really "deactivate" a geis, and if you break it you're basically thrown into shit creek without a paddle. Or a boat.
I'll throw summin' up today or tomorrow thereabouts.
Ello all, Grey's currently in Church, praying to his holy deity. Should be on shortly. Thank you for waiting on his critiques.
Dang flabbit Jed, how are people going to think I'm dark and edgy now that they know I go to church? Anywhooo.... @The Fox Without 1) An crappy electric collar is still not what I would call adequate measure to restrain an inhuman death row inmate. 2) Mana detection is a thing. Your concealment of presence spell is moot point. 3) I 'unno man, the bit about "reversing vampiric nature" just strikes me as really odd. @Card Captor Yeah, basically you don't need to justify having a human form as a unicorn. You can just become one with the unicorn. @Ryonara You're k. @BrodZ11711 Sure.
Thanks, also are partners subject to change at like a mid year evaluation, Each new year, or is it till death or graduation do we part. Also just more to flavor and out of curiosity, do the gate keepers work in teams usually or are they solo acts most of the time
1) New year or death, which ever comes first. Alternatively you could send in a request form, but that guarantees nothing 2) Pairs. After all, just because you have the ability to go solo in theory, doesn't mean you should. Of course, this varies depending on the opposition. Sending in 4 Gatekeepers to clear out a small den of wild animals is probably overkill, while deciding to take on a whole dungeon of boss-tier enemies by oneself is stupidly overconfident.
As per usual, any of you quiet GMs out there can call me out on anything I missed and so on.
Hmm yeah I suppose I didn't really go into that enough. Well since the Lore for Lucis is more or less up in the air I thought I'd add this to it: So I assume that in Lucis magic is a force of nature, like the wind. It's everywhere, but like the wind it is stronger in certain places. Magic is drawn to magic so places like mystical forests, creepy marshes, ancient ruins, these places would have more magic around them. When magical energy clumps together like that it gives births to spirits. Spirits are basically wisps of concentrated magical energy or mana, appearing as intangible floating lights. They show signs of basic awareness and react to the presence of people. These spirits are an integral part of Witchcraft as they are what power the magical enchantments in a Witch's items. Since magic is drawn to magic, the magical nature of a Witch's Familiar is what draws these spirits close enough for the Witch to trap. Edit: Let me know if this conflicts with any of the established Lore.
Bolded is surprisingly close to original lore. Anywho, don't see a reason not to let it pass. But riddle me this first, what kind of enchantments can you do with spirits? What makes spiritual enchantment different from "normal" magical enchantments?
@Grey. Theft skills. It's basically playing dirty like I poke your eye, squint lemon in your eyes and all that. Using whatever you can. It is a fighting style of Taku. Taekwondo is the dominant martial art he has. His combat skills are attained through TKD tournament and sometimes fights in school/public. He can't use magic.
Hmm, guess I kinda phrased it wrong. I meant more along the lines of what you meant when you said:
NOTE: Stealing weapons in the midst of battle, discard and use style.
Does that mean "I actually take it from your hands in the middle of fighting", "I nick your sidearm from your pocket", "I loot dead people," and/or something else?
I edited my CS.
One of us'll check it out when we possess more time.
Just one problem? Well I wasn't expecting that That dragon character is why I thought could get away with a character that had a human and animal form. I'll be honest; I feel a little awkward playing a character that is stuck in an animal form. Is there anyway that I can explain that ability that will satisfy you? How about if he was a half Unicorn who's mom shape-shifted into a human to give birth to him? If that doesn't work, then I'll just give him the human form, with unicorn powers
If you want I can always pick it apart like I do my sources analyses. And: Oh, that's not what I meant. I meant like, Dagny is a dragon. Period. Yet she has a human form. I just mean do the same thing with a unicorn since you don't require a dedicated race to achieve the same effect. So I guess the final of your points is what I'm getting at? Is being a half-unicorn particularly important to your backstory or a subplot you have planned?
Apparently not. All I've heard is "the other GMs will tell you no" and "who told you that you could."
So you want to know the specific reasoning behind why your character wasn't accepted? Or are you looking for clarification on the idea that you suggested to Varionus earlier? I can give you the former, but I'd need to consult the others on the latter.
Mmmm, well depending on how high-tier we're allowed to be, I just might end up changing. Anyway, since the bio I'm making partially depends on whether or not my character becomes a HWMD, I'll just leave this here for review: ESPer Ability: Dimension Shift The ability to manipulate the properties of distance, size, shapes, or anything that can be considered "space" from a physical/mathematical standpoint. His area of effect is anywhere that can be considered "within his field of vision", and areas targeted by his power need not be in that range at the same time. Naturally, as dimensions and proportions are key to this ability, the owner of this ability can discern them at a glance.
Hm? I thought Varionus was addressing your concerns?
If I missed anyone, tell me. If I missed any points, other GMs go tell me. @The Fox Without Still haven't fixed the issues. @BrodZ11711 You also have not fixed the issues. @Tyrant from the West 5th Year looks to be too high tier for your characters' skillset. Don't know if Vari kept it in my notes, but basically third to fourth and fourth to fifth are increasingly difficult tests of combat power, and lots of people repeat the third year because they simply aren't powerful enough to get into fourth, which has the highest death toll of all the years. I'd peg him more as a third or fourth year. But that's all. @Konami Yes, hello, can you please explain this sentient mana business? That's basically all. @Card Captor I think you'll be surprised to say I haven't been able to poke any tiny holes into this boat. Nah, it's just one big one. Basically your race is weird when we have a dragon that maintains a human form while being a normal dragon. Not to mention that it's weird from a biological standpoint too, but that's beside the point. All you really have to do is make him a full-blooded one-horn and that'd rid of most of the complications I see. @Masaki Haruna Where does he get his 1337 mid-combat theft skills? Where does he get his combat skills in the first place? @Daird Does she manipulate existing water, create water, or both?
