ExpendableIt had been a month and things seemed to have quieted down again. However, Candice's work was never done. She kept herself well hidden in plain sight as a normal citizen, as she spied upon the strangers as they helped rebuild the town and the citizens grew accustomed to their presence. But as her father had always told her, nothing is as it seems. Why did these strangers want to help? ...They must have some sort of insidious plan for the citizens. For now, she can't assume anything though. She had learned of where they were living and how to get there. She wanted to place bugs and cameras in there, but there was always at least one of those strangers in there, so she didn't have a chance. The best she could do was spy on them through the drone.
Today started like any other day for Candice. She wore her comfortable attire which consisted of jeans, running shoes, shirt, and a sweatshirt (for the cold early morning breeze) and with her weapons stowed, hidden, and ready for use should she need to fight, along with her cell phone and wallet, she headed out of her motorhome to go and investigate the Kindergarten area.
The trek was long but as she trekked she was able to answer a phone call from one of her associates while it only seemed as though she was the only person in the barren area, "Ghoste, here," She listened to the caller on the other end of the line, before she pinched the bridge of her nose and she sighed "Dammit Powers! I'm busy with my own mission right now! I can't fly over to Gravity Falls and help you! Just call for some reinforcements! You know the code word. Now don't let Stan Pines get away again! Understand?!" After speaking, Powers answered her and hung up. She sighed as she finally reached the Kindergarten. She looked over the Kindergarten before venturing into the area.
She couldn't help but mentally shake her head at some of her co-workers. How did Powers and Trigger even get hired in the first place? She looked around Kindergarten for at least the tenth time. All of her previous investigations of this place led to nothing except for some small clues and nobody here. She kept on looking until a glint of sunlight bouncing off of a nearby object caught her sight from the corner of her eyes. She looked towards the object and she saw that there was something giving off light from some distance above her in the wall; It wasn't the sunlight! She looked at it in curiosity. It looked a lot like what happened in the footage yesterday...
