Sylvia was surprised that she could still smell in this form, despite that she couldn't touch anything. She turned her attention back to Pylia and Buddy, and she was curious when Pylia mentioned that there was one more place she wanted to go to. What could that place be? As they walked on, Sylvia kept an eye on their surroundings as the crowds quieted down. It wasn't until they reached another building that Pylia and Buddy reached the other building that Sylvia got the answer to her own question. So this was a magic shop from Pylia's youth?

When there wasn't a response and the door creaked open, Sylvia commented "Should we really be going in there...?" She figured Pylia wouldn't hear her, and she shrugged as she followed Pylia and Buddy into the shop. She looked around with the others, and as she did, she mentioned "I don't think there's anything left behin-Oh no...Ohhh nooo..."

While she had been speaking, she caught sight of the blue ghostly figure in the corner, floating there looking at Pylia and Buddy. The figure reminded her of The Ring's ghost, which was why Sylvia had said 'Oh no' twice...with a clear tone that showed fear. Keeping her eyes on the figure and tensing up, just in case the ghost tried anything, she told Buddy,

"Buddy. Bud. The three of us need to leave. Now,"

If the ghost attacked...would her martial arts even work on her? Her radiant blasts might, but she wasn't so sure about her martial arts form.
Sylvia gave an interested "Huh..." in response to Buddy's explanation about fiends and celestials. She then heard him speak more and as Buddy continued his contemplation, she came to realize that he wasn't explaining his thoughts to her, he was thinking them. She blinked rapidly, her face one of surprise, and she muttered "Ummm..." Well, this was awkward. Should she break the news to him that she could hear his thoughts? He didn't seem to realize that she was able to hear his thoughts, so she decided to just leave it be for now.

When he answered her regarding following Pylia, and he made his comment, Sylvia shrugged and answered "She probably will," She lingered in the room for a little bit just to take in the room, the familiars, Shortfang, and herself, before feeling herself pulled out of the room. She followed Buddy out and she was glad to see that Pylia was okay with Buddy accompanying her. She followed Pylia and Buddy to the medicine shop. While Pylia spoke with the shopkeeper, and Buddy stood nearby, Sylvia decided to look around out of curiosity. She saw the small child and couldn't help but smile a bit as she watched the kid play with his stick action figures.

After seeing the child, she would leave him be and just continue looking around the store's wares and plants here as though she were just another customer. She was a bit curious about the plants and items that were sold here.
Sylvia laughed after Buddy gave his report of what happened in the room. She chuckled "Good to know..." She looked to Dinah and Syfr and noted the differences in appearance between the two familiars. Dinah was a celestial cat, and Syfr's appearance seemed to be the opposite of Dinah's with the black, grey, and red feathers. She commented "I bet Syfr was probably making sure that Dinah didn't pull any pranks on him. Though...am I right in guessing that Syfr is more of a fiendish familiar?" She remembered her time in that familiar plane and how Buddy had mentioned that he sensed celestial, fey, and fiend presences there.

She looked to Pylia when she started to move. She noticed that she had her empty bag, and she figured that Pylia probably planned to do some shopping. She answered Buddy's question, "Yeah, we should follow her. Don't worry about being stealthy though, I think she's just planning on doing some shopping. I'd rather have someone with her than have her go alone and get ambushed or something without us realizing it,"
Alrighty then! Here goes...

Could I roll an Insight check on Pylia?
"It was good. It was good," Sylvia answered Buddy in a way similar to how she answered her grandparents' question about how her day at school was in the past. She added, "We had a lot to think about, so now our thoughts are...at least a little more organized than they were before," She then looked to Buddy, noting that he was reading one of the books that she hadn't had a chance to read yet. She asked him smiling a bit, "I'm guessing not much happened while Pylia and I were away?"
Sylvia could understand how Pylia felt. Even after being here in Keratia for some time, it was still a lot to take in, and the possibility of never seeing her friends again gripped the back of her mind like an icy cold hand. In some way, Sylvia felt like she was just trying to convince herself of some things as well. When Pylia suggested heading back up and resting, Sylvia nodded and yawned as she stretched, "Sounds good to me,"

She stopped when Pylia gave her a wry smirk and made her comments. She chuckled a bit, "It's kinda the same for me. I haven't done this much back home...I guess being thrown into another world will do that," When Pylia mentioned that she should take care of herself a bit, Sylvia smiled kindly at Pylia, but didn't say anything. Sylvia simply told herself that she was lucky to have Pylia as a friend.

After a moment of silence outside alone, she headed back inside the inn as well and headed back for the room, maneuvering past the crowds of hungry dock workers, and heading upstairs.

As soon as they made it back, she greeted Buddy, "We're back, Bud," She then headed for her bed and decided to lay down and stare at the ceiling in thought for a bit.

Her thoughts continued to rage in her head. She remembered that she still had the doll and she could ask it a question regarding her being in Keratia...but what should she ask? And should she even ask about her being here at all...? Eventually, she would fall asleep.
Sylvia listened to what Pylia had to say silently. Her smile went away at the mention of how going back home meant that she had to leave and say goodbye to her friends. The thought of doing so, of leaving them behind...she could feel her heart start to break.

She wasn't ready to say goodbye....

She breathed like she was meditating and calmed herself down a bit, and focused her attention back onto Pylia's advice. She noted the splinter faction and her thoughts so far on telling Shortfang and Buddy in the morning.

"I agree that we should tell the both of them in the morning, but I think we should tell them that I'm from another world, as soon as possible. As for finding a way back...well, we can say we're researching it, but I think it's still...too far in the future for us to know whether or not I would...never be coming back. I mean...who knows? Maybe the solution will allow me to visit Keratia after I go home...?" She honestly hoped that would be the case.

She continued, "Anyways, tomorrow, we also still need to check with Shor and his team to see if they need our help. Aisha did tell us to check back in, right? We can go to the temples afterwards or if they don't really need our help then,"
When Sylvia saw Pylia close by, she mumbled "Ah! There you are," She listened as Pylia spoke, giving her her own reminders and warnings. She took a moment to think on her friend's words. She then answered Pylia, "Thanks for the reminder, Pylia. To be honest, I think I might be overthinking some stuff in Shortfang's story," She then pointed, "And you do have a point, we still need to visit the temples and see what information they have,"

She then sighed and she explained her thoughts, "However...even if the problems or issues we encounter don't have anything to do with my situation, I still want to help out wherever I can. Might as well before I head for home...right?"

She looked at her hands, her palms facing upwards as she recalled how she was able to fire rays of light from her hands the first time, heck the first time she used ki, and she told Pylia, her voice filled with a sense of hope and inspiration, "....I can actually be of help here. We were actually able to do more good here than I ever could back home. We actually ended a war and saved lives...! We actually inspired someone to become a knight and do good in the world,"

She then shook her head, shaking herself out of her thoughts and spoke once more, "Anyways, about breaking the news about my origins to Buddy and Shortfang...”
Sylvia wasn't so sure if going outside of the Silver Stag was a good idea, but before she even said anything, Pylia already headed out. With Shortfang sleeping away, Sylvia took off the bags and quietly set them aside. She then addressed Buddy, "We'll be back in a bit, Bud. Keep an eye on things here?" After she got an answer from Buddy, she headed out to find Pylia so that they can talk outside. She may not have her tonfas with her, or any weapon for that matter, but she was confident that she can still kick butt if need be. Once she reaches the outside of the inn, she would look for Pylia.
