Sylvia followed with Shor with her friends, and they were soon in the Castle Ward. Of course, it didn't take long for Sylvia to notice the differences between the Castle Ward and the wards they were just in. This was probably where the nobles lived or frequented. She also noticed how the guards here look better equipped and people here had finer clothes. She ignored the people who looked at them and whispered to each other. But at the back of her mind, seeing them whisper reminded her of her time in middle and high school.

She shook off the thoughts when she noted the large sword. It was funny...for a bit, she had forgotten that was there, but now that she saw it again, she felt awe once more.

She certainly wasn't ready for what the temple had in store for her.

When she got there, her jaw dropped and she couldn't help but ask out loud, "This is a temple? This looks more like a university!" As they walked on and Sylvia saw the fireball, the golem, and people actually flying through the air, she couldn't help but voice her awe and laugh (though she did try to keep her excitement hushed and quiet so as to not disturb anyone),

"Oh wow! Did you see that?!"
"Oh, That is so cool!"
"Ohmygosh! They're flying! They're actually flying!"

She felt like she just stepped into Hogwarts...and it was much more beautiful than what anyone had imagined. She felt like a child coming to an amusement park for the first time.

She then noticed that some other cat like familiars had approached Dinah, and she chuckled "I see you're meeting some new friends, Dinah," She then looked to Pylia, only for her smile to fade.

Pylia had that stony expression and she had her hand on her weapon. Sylvia calmed herself down from the excitement of what she was seeing in this university, and she asked her friend in concern, "Pylia? ...Are you okay...?"
I just realized Najila can still cast Eldritch Blast, since that only requires verbal and somatic. XD So she can attack enemies at the very least.
I will laugh so hard if someone actually rolls a Nat 1 for the opposing athletics check. XD
Najila couldn't blame the girl for her reaction regarding the missing horn. Before she could say anything else, Azzen showed that he was awake by taunting the savage man into ripping their prison door off the hinges. She looked to the half orc woman as she entered the room. Najila's eyes widened and she gasped quietly at the mention that Nadir and Layla would be harmed if they left. She reassured the young girl, and herself, "We won't let that happen. Nadir and Layla are our friends,"

She then answered Orchid, "Count me in. I'm afraid I'm not familiar with those of your caravan. Unfortunately, they took my tome and arcane focus, so I cannot use all of my magic right now. But I can provide a bird's eye view when it comes to scouting ahead," She subtly pointed upwards towards Pythagoras, her owl familiar who waited above.

She then turned her attention to the young tiefling girl. She saw much of her younger self in this girl, and she just couldn't find it in herself to just leave her here. So, she stretched out a kind hand towards the girl, for her to accept, and she suggested, "Please, come with us. We'll protect you, we'll rescue Nadir and Layla, and we'll get out of here together. Besides, you don't want to stay here, do you?"

Er...Lucius? ^^” I think the tiefling girl is in the same cell as Azzen and Najila. ^^”
Sylvia was ready to bash more heads in, but she was glad to see that the people who came out of the box were not more kobolds, but Cera instead! She sighed in relief as she lowered her fighting stance, and she answered her, "Helping out!" as she helped Cera, Kor, and Shor out of the box. She moved the box over to reveal the manhole that lead into the sewers. The doll's words came to mind...

Instead of finding dragons, the Windmill Crusaders found friends instead. The thought almost made her chuckle.

She listened as Shor and Yorik spoke to each other a bit, before noticing Dimos coming out of the manhole next. She answered Dimos, reassuring him, "Patrolling with Yorik. Don't worry, those kobolds won't hurt you," She then gently helped Dimos out of the manhole. She then turned her attention to Cera as she explained the situation, confirming Sylvia's and her friends' thoughts after encountering Erendal earlier. As such, surprise was nowhere to be seen on Sylvia's face. But she was worried, much like Shortfang, when she heard that the Sewer Dragons had protected the group as they ran and fought the assassins.

She blinked at the mention of getting Dimos out of here and to the Temple of the Maker. She looked to Pylia in confusion and slight skepticism. Thankfully, she didn't need to voice her question. Pylia explained that the temple here was much stronger than the one in Cassari, and Sylvia gave an "Oh..." in response. She then looked to Shor as he answered Pylia's question. She rubbed the back of her neck at the mention of Erendal, considering that...well, he is dead.

She answered Shor, "What are we waiting for? Let's hurry to the temple then. However...when we get there, we need to tell you what happened up here while you three were in the sewers,"
Thus far, Najila had enjoyed her time outside of the Cosmological Sanctum. She certainly enjoyed the company of Azzen, Nadir, and Layla. However, every day her words and Ralim's words regarding the deal they made still echo in her mind. Despite her seemingly happy, curious, and yet naive attitude during the day, her fastidious and cautious intellect showed itself every night, whether someone was paying attention to her or not. She sometimes performed rituals that casted certain spells, but she would always, always, write in her large book every night. Her tome seemed to give off mist from its pages, and the covers even appeared to be made of clouds despite that she could hold it like it was any other book.

She had always called that tome, "The Book of Clouds".

Unfortunately, after a long day of travel and finding the cave to rest in, Najila had neglected to put up an Alarm spell before turning in to sleep. She was still able to write in the tome that night, but if only she had taken a little extra time to put up that Alarm...

For when she woke up next, she found that she couldn't see, and she was restrained. She didn't know what was happening. She was scared. It was almost like...and her thoughts didn't finish as she was put to sleep once more.

The third time she woke up, she groaned and her eyes flutter open to take in her surroundings. As she did so, a million questions flew through her head, with her making no sound as they came to mind,

"Where are we? What was this place? We were clearly taken, but who? And why? How long have we been asleep here? How long were we imprisoned? Where's Nadir and Layla?"

She found her breathing quicken in fear. There was no doubt that she felt trapped once more and she didn't like this. She wanted to get out, but she needed to get her bearings first. She then realized that other than her clothes...she had none of her items...!

"My book! Where is the Book of Clouds?! Oh no! Oh no!"

She didn't want to think of what would happen if she hadn't written in that book for just one night....!

"Calm down....Calm down, Najila....No use in panicking....What can I do now...?" Najila silently calmed herself down, trying to keep herself from getting into a tizzy. Azzen was here, so at least she had a friend here. There was also another tiefling girl here...with her horn sawed off! Oh, the poor dear!

Before attempting to speak with the girl though, she thought of another being that might help...

She snapped her fingers quietly and summoned her familiar, Pythagoras the Barn Owl. She telepathically commanded the owl to fly to the rafters and wait for her future orders, if there were any. She was glad she picked an owl for her familiar, for they were definitely the most silent of fliers.

After that, she turns her attention to the girl, and she quietly asked the girl, her voice hushed, but concerned, "Are you alright, dear?" She hoped to ease into the conversation before asking the questions in mind right away. Plus, she wouldn't be surprised if the girl was in pain from having half of her horn sawed off.

Ohmygosh! We're starting? We're starting!!! XD

*Goes to write IC post*
Sylvia had almost surprised herself with how quickly she had dispatched the kobolds, but that feeling didn't last long as the last kobold was ready to attack her in return. Thankfully, Yorik's flail had taken care of it. However, another kobold managed to stab Yorik in the gut and she called out Yorik's name along with Pylia. The last two kobolds were quickly dispatched by Pylia's and Shortfang's swords.

Sylvia hurried over to Yorik's side with Pylia, worried for his wellbeing. She thought he was dying...until she saw the belt. At first she had this dumbfounded look on her face, and after a moment, she laughed along with Yorik. It wasn't a laugh just at Yorik's joke, but it was also a laugh of relief.

"We were worried...over Yorik being pantsed!" She laughed at the situation.

She did calm down, and turned her attention to Shortfang. She nodded and she added onto Shortfang's observations, "That's right. And they have their own custom weapons as well. Just like the Venomfang Troglodyte tribe," When he mentioned that one of the kobolds was merely unconscious and that they should talk to him, she nodded in agreement, "Yeah. We should tie him-" She stopped when she heard the noise and her cat meow.

She turned her attention towards the large box. She sobered herself and she alerted her friends, "Guys. That box. Something's underneath it,"

She then moved over to the box, ready to move it over if her friends were ready. She looked to them to see if they were first.
LOL. That is pretty tough. I'm guessing you're not using separate CS's for Pylia, Shortfang, & Buddy?

From what I remember for the day, Pylia used a spell slot for the Spiritual Weapon against Erendal and his goons, and then a Spiritual weapon for this battle. I think Pylia only did some healing on Sylvia after the fireball...Other than that, I don't remember what other spells she used. I hope this helps. ^_^

I'm looking forward to reading your post!
