As dawn neared in the cave, Jason awoke from his slumber, finding that the goblin head had dissolved overnight. Today's first order of business was to begin creating a stockpile of resources. Using the help of his newly acquired [Tremor Sense I], he chiseled out a storage area for his cave, and laid out all of his inventory.

Taking down the rock wall concealing his tunnel, Jason rolled out and peered around the cave. Thankfully, the goblins had yet to stir, meaning Jason could collect mana crystals without worry. Using [Tremor Sense I], he went about collecting as many crystals as he could carry, being careful not to over-harvest. Once his inventory was full, he brought his crystals back to his cave, and emptied them into his storage area, before heading back out to eat a bit more of the two goblin corpses when he heard things around the bonfire becoming lively.

Breaking off a hand to snack on, Jason moved close enough to vaguely hear the commotion.... Crispy was going to be vulnerable? Excellent.

Quickly moving back to his tunnel, Jason hastily re-concealed the entrance to his tunnel, and immediately got to work.

Using the help of [Tremor Sense I], Jason began tunneling at a 45 degree angle in the direction of the bonfire; being careful not to expose the tunnel in the process. Once reaching near ceiling height, Jason leveled out the tunnel, digging, and digging, and digging until he had tunneled up to a position overlooking the bonfire area.

Then, as quietly as he could, Jason chiseled a peephole in the wall so he could look over the bonfire. As he looked through his new peephole he witnessed Crispy giving orders appeared to be giving orders to what Jason assumed to be his bodyguards; he was definitely gonna need to use some of his newly founded crystal stash.

Heading back to his storage, Jason grabbed nine mana crystals before returning to his peephole. Watching, waiting for the perfect moment to strike.

For a moment, Ren had almost been convinced that his call would go unanswered, but that was not so. The god of steel had answered his prayer with both a name, and a blade. Though Ren knew he should feel ecstatic that his prayer was answered, it felt.... insincere.

He would need to prove himself worthy of his god's favor. "My lord Gatoven, I humbly thank you for answering my prayer. With the blade you have bestowed upon me, I shall prove myself worthy. Wolves, the creatures that rule the night in this forest... I shall seek and slay as many of these beasts as I can in your name, and return when my task is done. Ren prayed one last time before taking up his new weapon, and beginning his hunt.

Acquired Skills:

• Defensive strike: this goblin has learned that the best offence is a good defence. This goblin is able to take a defensive posture and still make a powerful strike either in the hopes of killing said opponent or to run away easier
• Military Strategy- Centurian position: The goblins have unknowingly used a formation of perfect defense and defensive strikes. This position when used in a funnel or with a group can wreak devastation to the enemy forces
• Gravekeepers spirit: All goblins are able to feel the strength of those that have long since passed. When near a dead body or a skeleton the goblins are able to draw strength without the requirement of being necromancers. Even carrying a skull as an adornment allows the goblins to be stronger, faster, lighter as they draw strength. However, drawing all the strength of a certain dead body or their parts will cause it to disintegrate into dust.
• Knowledge of the 3: Knowing the names of the god and goddesses of the world they live in they can now properly worship them. Ramos god of light and the sun, Duvelna goddess of death and the night, Shirila the goddess of the earth and nature.

Still somewhat recovering from the effects of the strange crystal, Jason suddenly heard Rain call his name. Though he wanted to tell his comrade about his discovery, he hesitated. This crystal had strange properties, ones that were potentially volatile... He had to intensely study it first, "Whaaaaat Rain? I'm trying to sleeeep." he said, feigning a groggy voice. He would tell her about it once he knew it was safe.

Once he managed to get Rain to leave, Jason reached out and lightly touched the stone for a bit before activating [Tremor Sense I] as he began doze off once again. He intended to have the skill running all night long to warn him of any intruders attempting to invade his hideaway, research on the crystal would have to wait until the morning.
