To all the homies in Florida -- stay safe out there. Now is not the time to wrangle an alligator and surf it down the flooded streets. I know, it's hard to resist the urge.

Glad you let us know. I know how that feels.
Real life takes precedence. I understand that just as much as the next guy. If you can manage a post on Sunday, that'd be swell; if not, we'll skip Raelynn for now and I'll just point at someone else that has to post.
Next round of posts starts now. If all of the able-bodied members of the party do indeed pile on the big draugr and attack it, it will die with only a very small chance of wounding one of its attackers in a final act of revenge.
Four draugr were already down, courtesy of Balen, Daro'Vasora and Skall, who made good use of his (and his weapon's) size and took down two of the infernal creatures by himself. Hector had felt Vensor's arrow whizz by his head and saw how it struck the largest draugr beautifully in the shoulder. Its huge sword now hung uselessly by its side. Not one to be left out and eager to capitalize on their early advantage to end the fight quickly, Hector entered the fray himself. Not dramatically, like Skall, or agile like Daro'Vasora, or with the lanky strides of Balen, but instead the practiced march of the Legionnaire -- sword at the ready, shield raised, and measured steps. One draugr turned to face him. "Dir volaan!" it said, squeezing the sound out of its rotten throat, and swung its axe at Hector. The blow glanced uselessly off of Hector's shield.

"Sorry, what was that?" the Imperial asked casually and retaliated. He stepped forward with unexpected speed and drove the steel spike mounted on his shield into the draugr's chest. It gurgled and reared back its axe for another strike, but Hector beat the slow, shambling monster to the punch and drove his sword through the draugr's face. The instant the tip of the steel longsword touched the draugr's brow the blade's enchantment sprung to life and fire spread from the wound, briefly setting the draugr's head ablaze. It sank heavily to the floor.

Behind him, Sjara was too distracted by the panicking Raelynn to notice that one of the draugr had, in its own lowly cunning, seen an opportunity and struck the Bosmeri huntress from behind with its sword. It was a glancing blow because Raelynn's grasp pulled Sjara closer to her and away from the draugr, but it still drew blood, and Hector's head whipped around at the sound of pain. He quickly ran the draugr through with his longsword, flames licking at its torso, before it collapsed to the ground and extinguished. He checked on Sjara quickly -- she wasn't seriously hurt -- and left her in Raelynn's care with a quick nod that said 'You know what to do'.

As he returned to the fight, the effects of the silencing gust of wind wore off and magicka could freely be used again.

Now there were only three draugr left and the adventurers had them surrounded, including the big one. It had dropped his longsword and picked up one of its fallen comrade's one-handed swords to use with its remaining good hand and was now swinging it threateningly at the living. "Faaz! Paak! Dinok!" it said. Even in death, Hector could hear its anger. The Imperial looked around and locked eyes with the others. He pointed his blade at the draugr commander. If they took it down now in a swift and decisive multi-pronged attack, the other two draugr would be a piece of cake.

"Attack!"
Been patiently waiting on @Inkarnate while I've been out living my own life, but if he doesn't post very soon I'll write a Hector post and we can start the next round of shenanigans.
Quick note: it has never been the modus operandi of the Guild mods to be pro-active or "visible" in the way that @Odin means. The staff is around to clean up the mess and move threads when people ask us. Users are expected to handle issues themselves if they don't feel like involving a moderator, because we won't look for it otherwise. If the moderators seem like they're resting on their laurels instead of changing anything or actively engaging with the community it's because that's not part of their responsibilities. Never has been, probably never will be. They're not here to promote activity. Mahz provides a service and we're simply the extension of that. If users don't make use of that "feature", that's up to them. I don't want the moderators to loom over everyone and inject themselves into the community specific and minor sub-sections of the community if they don't feel like it. In fact, I prefer my moderators to be as unobtrusive as possible -- there when you need them, but otherwise out of your way.

And while we're discussing this big list of issues points of improvement, some of which I agree with, others I think are dubious and yet others I think aren't significant at all, the vast majority of the Guild users simply trundle along, writing their RPs in quiet content. They don't need more (or more visible) moderators. In fact, they don't need the existing moderators at all. That's an important perspective that needs to be remembered.
@Hekazu chose to attack the Big Boss and rolled a natural 6 out of 6, which means the Draugr is severely injured and incapable of attacking anyone next round.

Hector hasn't done anything yet, so I'll write a post for him after y'all are done. Might take a shot at the big one if nobody else does, but you still need to roll to attack. It'll be an easy one, but combat-focused characters get a positive modifier.
Reminded me of this classic copypasta.

@Rilla definitely does stuff, you just don't see it.

More chat moderators will be added soon(TM). I need to figure out how to do so, however, because user roles are currently handled by GuildBot in the Discord and I have no power over him, and then I need to make my selections. I have a free weekend ahead of me (at long last) that I plan on dedicating to the Guild.

That's all I have to say for now.

The bunnies died satisfactory deaths, many at the hands of her allies, but Moordekrai herself added to the bodycount by using the simplest of blood magicks; injuring herself to injure them. Except their wounds were far more grievous, of course. As the arrows started to fly, two soldiers in plate armor were cut down by an invisible force that tore fierce gashes in their chests, though none of that was visible behind their cuirasses. To the rest of the bunnies, it must have looked as if they dropped dead and wailed their last gurgled screams for no reason at all. While all hell broke loose around her, Moordekrai dashed forward and crouched over the bodies. She cut another fresh slice into her palm and pressed her hand against their slack jaws, pouring her blood down their throats. A horrible, unnatural light began to shine in their eyes as they opened and the two bunny knights got their feet with slow, cumbersome movements. Using the Speech, Moordekrai whispered instructions in their ears. The two zombies turned on their heels and advanced towards the mages, plodding but implacable, and Moordekrai allowed herself a small smile at the necromancy. Bunnies were always so squeamish around their own walking dead.

Predictably, the sight of the zombies drew an unreasonable amount of attention and the mages, first to realize what was going on, bellowed for the undead to be cut down and began flinging their own spells at them -- but what has already died does not lay down so easily the second time. Animated by Moordekrai's dark magic, the corpses continued onwards even as lightning shocked them and fireballs hit them, and it took the concentrated effort of three living bunnies to hack them apart with their swords, wasting precious time they really couldn't afford.

"Boo," Moordekrai said, having suddenly appeared like a spectre amidst the circle of distracted mages. Blood ran down her limbs as tattoos that criss-crossed her entire body began to glow.

The mages screamed as they went up in flames. Moordekrai pulled back Ghrokesh's seal ever-so-briefly and allowed a single blast of roiling Hellfire to explode outwards from her body, accompanied by a horrifying roar that shook the leaves from the trees with its force and put the fear of God into the hearts of every bunny in a mile radius. The mages had not been expecting a magical attack and subsequently failed to protect themselves against one, and once they noticed Moordekrai had slipped in among them, it was far too late. The very flesh was seared off their bones in an instant.

Before Ghrokesh was allowed to completely take over Moordekrai put her iron will to good used and closed the seal with tremendous effort. Her tattoos burned with bright light and flames danced in her braided hair for a few seconds as Ghrokesh clawed and fought for control, dearly wishing to wreak havoc and sate his lust, but the hellish light quickly disappeared and Moordekrai went back to looking like a normal Orc. Well... as normal as she usually looked. She gasped for breath and sank to her knees. It was a potentially dangerous moment of weakness but her display had frightened the bunnies into inaction, and as the muddy ground returned to its normal state (now freed from the magical influence of the mages) the ranks of Nar Mat Kordh-Ishi were able to march forward. It would have been safer to take them down with blood magic, but this was unequivocally faster, and the opening created by her allies and her necromancy had been too perfect to pass up.
