"Fine. I'll sit." Killshade stated, eyes looking at Bishop then at Shifter before he sat down in the empty chair next to her, and spoke again to the villain. Pariah's warning sounding in his ears. His mind laying out where the others were in the room in case the mission went south. He wasn't scared of Bishop's threat himself, he just didn't want more innocents to lose their lives.

"Curiosity," Killshade replied, trying not to give away to much information as he looked over the meal Bishop was enjoying. "I wanted to be with people like me and I wanted to see where I fit in all of it."

"Let me ask you this, why are you doing this? What are you aiming to achieve by taking a restraunt full of civilians hostage? Is it the thrill of it or money or some kind of a twisted statment?"

does it feel like DC is trying to do things very different from Marvel? I mean most of Marvel's main heroes are not very diverse unless you include aliens as being diverse.

It really does. They're pushing the grittier, more realistic superhero movies while Marvel is going with the more comedic, more fantasy driven superheroes.

"I'm Killshade, we would like you to release the hostages. There's no need for them to be harmed. They're innocent people caught in all of this." Killshade replied, as he stood, arms crossed, eyes on Bishop, then shifted them in order to glance at the position of every enemy in the restaurant, his mind already mulling over a plan, particular attention paid to the one that had the barrier up which kept anyone from entering or exiting the building. He then looked back at Bishop and continued to speak.

"We can come to an agreement that will make both sides happy. No bloodshed needed." He stated, noting Shifter's position as well.

"So 'cooperate' with the enemy, use the explosives when I get a signal, and at the same time eliminate who or whatever is putting up that barrier, which will then lead to our assault to take the restaurant back and save the hostages?" Killshade asked Pariah, then pulled out the bag which contained the two small, but powerful explosive devices and placed them inside his right boot. In case the enemy tried to search them, which he hoped they wouldn't do. He liked the plan, a little depiction would aid them greatly in this, if they played their cards right, they could take down all of the villains and save many of the hostages.

Killshade grabbed the device, then opened his mouth and swallowed it, then took the small explosives. For now he tucked them into a pocket on his belt, he would hide them somewhere else, later, after the meeting. His mind already going over ideas to where he would put them on himself. He was eager to get the mission going, he was interested in seeing his teammate's powers in full use, along with the enemy's.

Killshade scanned the crowd of League members who were going on the hostage mission alongside him, looking over every one of them in a non obvious way. He noticed Petya change her form to that of a weak man, definitely not someone threatening. Her power seemed very useful for this type of mission or really anything in general. The ability to change to somebody else in the blink of an eye could be used for any number of tasks.

whose going to deal with the hostage situation? because it seems like a lot of people went for the prison break and we might have an overflow of heroes on one mission.

Well, Killshade volunteered. I think a couple of the characters are going on the hostage mission.
