Yeah don’t ever recall BLM charging the US Capitol building, scaling the walls, attacking Capitol police and breaking windows to enter.

@Altered Tundra 7/10, I suddenly want a Guinness.

There Will Be Blood is full of great scenes. It's an incredibly well made film.

My favorite is probably the confession scene. DDL's acting in it is top notch. The looks Daniel gives the preacher as he's forced to confess, the look after the first slap, how he shakes off the holy water and quietly says "for the pipeline".
@StoneWolf Awesome to hear!
Saw this RP and was very interested, didn't get a chance to post in the interest check before the OOC went up.

What is your stance on an android character? Someone that appears human, but is actually an advanced machine. They'd still be learning how to be human. I'd compare it to the Synths if FO4 or the androids in the Alien series. @Midori

If you're not for it then that is fine, I can make a different character, just felt an android could be an interesting experience.

It has been nearly five decades since humanity made the historic first move into outer space beyond their local solar system. Some say it was done in order to save the human race from ending itself on its world of origin, the spectacle of it enough to end all conflicts amongst the species. Others say it was for resources, though we could harvest those from the worlds within the Sol system. It does not really matter anymore why we did it, only that we did do it.

We as a species have spread out since that first move, colonized four worlds, while not bold enough to place large populations of people on any of the colonized planets, we have sent out brave scientist and explorers to live on them. Extraterrestrial life has also been discovered, when it occurred it was deemed one of the greatest moments in human history, alongside the colonization of Mars, creation of warp technology and landing on Pluto. It came in the form of microscopic lifeforms, more boring than little green men, but still, something spectacular. It got more exciting though, more sizable life forms were found, nothing sentient though.

One peculiar planet we took interest in was Elisii Campi, a large frozen world with interesting environmental conditions (Yes, some wanted to name it Hoth, but that was trademarked). Elisii Campi had extraterrestrial lifeforms on it, creatures in the shivering oceans, even predators and preys on land across it. These creatures were all adapted to the world, lived in it and thrived in it. Precious resources below the surface attracted the business focused people, though the scientific minds ensured that would not happen for some time, not until the world had fully been researched at least. A base has since been built on the world, filled with almost two hundred people, scientists, engineers, explorers, all kinds that flocked to newly discovered worlds.

We never knew what we would find on Elisii Campi, none of us knew.

If you're still reading then I'm assuming that you're interested in what this exactly is. It's the interest check for a science fiction RP set on a frozen world. It will be an advanced level RP with a linear storyline, filled with elements of action, horror and adventure. It will start off simply, characters will be already working on the world, biologists, archaeologists, security officers, doctors, the occupation choices are near limitless. Things will take an unexpected turn and the characters will all have to react to it.

Anyone up for it?
