_{To be fair, the image is not quite accurate, but it was the closest I could get. So I'll focus on correcting mistakes here.}
The spider hybrid differs from a human in a few obvious points. First of all, there is the configuration of her limbs, them being six arms and one pair of legs. Each of these are covered in chitin plating, giving her the permanent appearance of wearing black upper arm length gloves and thigh high boots. In contrast, her skin is extremely pale, and irises red. Jessamine suspects she may be an albino of her species. Three marks on her forehead are sometimes confused for eyes, but they are merely decorative. She does not have much of a chest for herself, but her silk producing spinneret is stashed at her rump, giving it some additional size. She hates to sit uncomfortably, for pressure on the organ resonates for a long time after.
OCCUPATION:
Jessamine keeps her own seamstress's atelier in Foxbridge.
HOW:
Out there, where one had to hide one's existence, Jessamine wasn't having much fun with life. She had visions, not of the spiritual kind, mind, that needed to be set out there into reality. She wanted to make the prettiest clothes, the boldest suits, the most majestic of gowns, the most elaborate of all embroideries… and she wanted to be credited for her work. All but the last piece may have been possible, had she found an associate to work with in the human realm. But she wanted it all. There had to be a place where it could be possible, and with persistence the search bore fruit. Foxbridge. It took a friend of a friend of a friend of a… frankly, she'd lost count. But she wasn't a happy worker like many of her kind. She was a visionaire!
PERSONALITY:
Jessamine has a strong force of will, and is not afraid of imposing it upon others if she feels they are stomping on her toes. She does things like she wants, when she wants, and how she wants. Rare is the case that someone changes the heart of the headstrong spider, but if one plays along with her forceful personality, they'll find they get along without much difficulty at all. In general, she is the one who moulds, not the one who is moulded.
SMALL BIO:
Foxbridge is very much a dream come true for Jessamine, for there finally is a place where she can bring all her plans to fruition, the many fabrics and threads forming the canvas for her art. Here she needs not be afraid of being found out, and can have all the credit she rightfully deserves. She finds happiness in her work, but even more of it in seeing others wear what she had made or come to her specifically to ask for things. This hole in the fabric of space is a slice of heaven, nothing less.
TRIVIA:
Jessamine's body does not process caffeine well, sending her tumbling into a long lasting fit of headaches. Decaf for her, any and all days of the week.
It is considered quite forward to request her to make anything of her own silk. It's generally recommended you don't, unless she offers to.

Also, we are at another tiebreaker, this time for Brannor @The Harbinger of Ferocity and Torus @Zverda. It seems Brannor has a higher DEX mod, but if you'd like to change the order just be in touch.

I'm thinking of bringing an example with more arms and less legs to the table, so I suppose they kinda would both fit in still? Depends on the level of variety the GM is looking for. I, for one, welcome all the arachnid variations anyone can think of since spiders are cool, but…

You're telling me!

I enjoy playing monstrous and/or generally inhuman characters, so this problem has a habit of cropping up often. Usually I just resort to keeping everything in writing, but this time that doesn't seem to be an option. I'll probably dedicate some time to looking for images in the evening, writing on the other than appearance parts of the sheet earlier on.

I was thinking about a seamstress, as I mentioned. May "work" for the cafe by taking care of their uniforms or something of the sort? Though I definitely feel the picture issue. My problem is that I know what I'm looking for, and if that just doesn't make it extra hard!

On one hand, monsters. On the other, slice of life. Hm. Not really my genre, that. Wonder what sort of a (side)plot one might get going. Wholesome fluff is always a plus though. Yet needing a character image to go with them would be a right pain. The six-armed seamstress seems like a right fit for the bunch though. I'll keep this one in the back of my mind, in case motivation strikes to go looking for possible reference images.

So just so it is absolutely clear, this man with his demands came from the tunnel heading down towards the South, while you have arrived from the stairs leading up from your current position in the East.

There could be traps ahead, or even an ambush. These were the words that the adventurers used to keep each other on their toes for the duration of their break, while the two that would guard them chose to keep their closest watch towards the path that they had come from. Not a wholly unwise decision by any means, what with the drakes certainly residing in said place. They might have a set of keys for them, but they had no way of knowing if it was the only set of keys. Yet there had been something wrong in the steps going downwards. The prints on them had not been clear. It was like someone had messed with them, even if it was not deliberate. The realisation would strike too late, as simultaneously with the first sign of trouble two and two were put together. A flying kobold had flown past the tracks, mixing them up as they passed. So the people that were deeper knew they were here. And were on approach.

In a quite unforeseen manner of greeting however, instead of a zealous charge at the intruders, a strong male voice called out from behind the first corner of the stairs heading down. "We know you are there. I will step out now, and if you have any sense in those heads of yours you will not be opening fire", he informed the adventurers of their current predicament, and did as he had suggested. A man sporting muscle rivalling that of the half orc and beard woven together in braids, equipped with protection in form of many heavy furs and an axe definitely not fit for woodcutting held over his shoulder, its great blade shining in torchlight coming from someone behind him. "Cyanwrath has summoned the champion of Greenest. Follow. We know you are one of them", he would resume, giving them the last moment to consider how to react to this.

What appear to be heavily armed heralds have approached the party from deeper within the dungeon. They have issued demands, but appear otherwise peaceful. For now.
