Current Just ran a stale yellow. Nobody on this website is doing it like me, sticking it to the man like me, blazing a trail against tyranny like me. the only thing revolutionary about you is your rhetoric

Takeru Segawa is the type of man they made myths out of. Intensely privileged to be able to say I watched him burn so bright as he did before going out with a win. I’ll miss you, hero.

Completely fucking up my field sobriety test as i clamber out of the honda fit i've wrapped around a lightpost, staggering everywhere, before finally scoring a big fat goose egg on the breathalyzer

Check out swimming. It's a great source of cardio and isn't quite so intensive on the body as running.

On the Wing-Tsun, that's probably a bullet dodged. The legitimacy of it for self-defense or as an applicable to combat martial art's up for debate, and the fact that SWAT was tacked on to the end honestly reeks of "McDojo BS" to me.

Granted, certain principles are certainly applicable, especially when applied mixed in with other martial arts, but from what I can tell it suffers from it's own mystique of being "2deadly4u" like a depressingly large amount of traditional martial arts. Aikido's another big one in that regard. Way too few places teach you something that you can apply against a resisting opponent, nor do they train with any resistance either.

Radical. Closest place I can find that offers HEMA stuff is 25 miles away, unfortunately. It looks really cool.
I think there may actually be a fairly big HEMA scene over in Germany. I've wanted to try that for a while now...

Archery does sound cool.

Place I go to teaches mainly Karate (Goju-Ryu based if I remember right, it's been a while) and Brazilian Jiujitsu to the youngsters and in the basic teens and adults classes, but I typically go to the BJJ (this one's more in-depth than the usual stuff we go through in the normal classes) and Muay Thai Classes at the end of the day if I'm not already there working.

It's great fun.
My cardio's probably dropped off a bunch too, considering all I've been doing over at school was lifting 3x a week (barring dumb injuries) and sometimes needing to run to classes.

The family's got a pool in the backyard, I think I'll start putting it to good use soon.
@PyroDash888

Damn, that's worse than mine. Mine's a mild case where it closes up if I run hard in cold weather or do a dead sprint for a long time.

It used to be worse, but 5 solid years of martial arts has made me come a long way from then. Maybe try building your resistance up, starting with jogging or swimming? Swimming's actually a lot easier on your joints too, so it's an excellent alternative even on it's own.

Just an idea, though. I'm not too familiar with the science behind it.
My OHP and Bench are laughable, to say nothing of rows which I just dropped completely...

God, as soon as I get back to 100% I need to get my shit together.

EDIT: To get things somewhat back on topic and speaking of having my shit together, how do you guys think I'm doing so far? I'm still sort of in the "feeling out" process of this RP and, to tell the truth, this site in general.
I got up to 215 5x5 on squat which is probably my best lift.

Around halfway through the third set of 220 my back was just like "haha nah man i ain't doin' this"

Not a fun sensation, let me tell you.
It's terrible.

Every time it looks like I'm about to break into uncharted territory, something always pops up, be it an injury, or school thing, or a break were I'd head out to see family. Really hope the summer's kinder to me. I've been hanging around a 2plate deadlift for 5 waaaaayyy too long now. I should be so much further ahead ;__;
I've been picking things up and putting them down for a little bit ye

Fucking injuries have kept me outta the game for the past couple of weeks bro

My right shoulder and lower left back are some temperamental sons of bitches, they get in the way of my progress like you wouldn't believe

I need to shape up my form or some shit. I wanna get stronger already, dammit!
