Jolly Productions presents...

Hank and Eleanor Smith have a… large, and unique family.

When they first got married, they went into it knowing they’d never have children of their own, due to medical problems. However, they both wanted children nonetheless, and they resolved to entertain their idea of a huge family by adopting… and adopt they did. From foreign countries, from local orphanage, the Smiths adopted children of different ages and nationalities until they simply couldn’t anymore.

Other than their large family? There are only two important things to note about the Smiths. One, is that they are rather wealthy — Grandpa Smith is a successful electrician-turned-entrepreneur, and Grandma Smith has been his faithful assistant since before they were even together. The second thing? Grandma and Grandpa Smith, and their children (and hopefully, their children’s children!) are very big on family and the holidays.

This means that every year, for two weeks, the Smiths head up to their log cabin in the woods of Northern Washington to celebrate Christmas as a family. This includes all their children and grandchildren, crammed into the spacious-but-not-quite-spacious-enough cabin, and enjoying time with each other for a while. From home cooked meals, to sledding in the backyard, it’s a party!

For the most part, the family is happy to gather together — not that they really have a choice. The Grandparents have always been rather insistent that their family make it for at least part of the stay at the cabin, if not the whole time. While some of their children haven’t made as good a habit of it as they like, with the Grandparents Smith getting up there in age, this time the whole family has agreed to come for the whole two weeks. After all, who knows how much time they have left together?

Our story will begin with the family arriving at the log cabin on the first day! They’ll come from different parts of the United States, and in some cases, even the world. They’ll bring their families and their significant others… Everyone’s coming. However, our story will focus mostly on the kids, as they embark on a fantastical adventure in a winter wonderland!

More on that once we get the OOC proper up! We’re just using this to gauge the interest in a short-ish, holiday based, family centric, slice of life roleplay.
I'm interested
@Hey Im Jordan

Yes, that is my current plan of action right now :)

I'll be there.
@MissCapnCrunchAre you going to make a Discord or something of the sort?
I'm interested in this, if you're still looking.
@Hey Im Jordan

Your character is a man in his early thirties, who can be quite daring.
He comes from a wealthy background, lives in a mining town and tends to talk too much.

I can do this
I would like to participate in this.
@Hey Im Jordan
Just one character? Which gender pronouns preferred?

@Fabricant451
LOL, the complex generator always makes me laugh: You have to incorporate the following into your character:

Your character is a young woman in her late teens/early twenties, who is very spontaneous.
She comes from a poor background, lives in a houseboat and tends to always say the wrong thing.

i will take one for now and i will be a boy, thank you
If there's availability I also would like to join this.

you can give me the complex set of traits.
