Hot dogs are already cooked. Might as well just sear them to add flavor.

If you take college seriously, it opens doors. Harvard and Hopkins makes it easier, but you can do well anywhere.

Prefer to brainstorm on Discord for that reason.

Windows 10 is very much like a German prison camp guard, "Ah, I see you are tryink to escape work fifteen minutes early, Herr Colonel Hogan, here ist an update zat vill stall you!"

@Athinar I honestly struggle with ideas of a monk orc, because the company culture doesn't seem overly likely to be so supportive of such a thing. I suppose we'll see what goes with sheets, but I have grave doubts.

@ClocktowerEchos That doesn't say much about what such a character does. So I'm not sure how to react to that.
So I am approving all characters except for the two witches I got because I have to figure things out and want to look over those sheets carefully because I am going to wind up choosing one. It was totally fine to post in the character sheet tab, I just have two people giving me two different characters and I need to look at it from the perspective of how the plot plays out with these characters.
(Yes, we have an RP up and need a very specific role filled.)

Seeking: Heir to a throne, human (well, mostly?) female and of questionable parentage on one side. Traditionally bastards only tend to inherit if they are capable and have an army at their back.

Character would be essentially employing a mercenary company in a fantasy campaign plot. Would have great strategic control over the plot. The mercenary company is powerful, ruthless and dangerous in the field. Its troops are tough, aggressive and ready to fight all comers.

There, of course, is a catch. That mercenary company is Nar Mat Kordh-Ishi.

Also, just saying now, the soundtrack for Nar Mat Kordh-Ishi should be GWAR. Stick to that, please. ;)
Please see the role requests up top on the first post -- those are our needs right now.
Realistically, the characters I need at this point are Jagath and the heir. Beyond that, we're good on characters.

Also, like the idea of elven expats, not so sure how I feel about a friendly company of dwarves. But elven expats is definitely done. I feel like employers would hire them mostly because they think, "ooh, elves."

Meanwhile Nar Mat Kordh-Ishi also says, "ooh, elves," with a very different tone of voice.

And then they water their wargs.
How does a full-blood Orc raised by humans sound? Taken in as an infant war orphan by a mercenary company. Sort of Guts, sort of Worf.

Sounds highly interesting. Human military knowledge is highly prized. He'd probably be another Drillmaster.
Also, just as a setting FYI, warg-piss is particularly repugnant to elves.

Edit: Yes, we're setting up elves as the great evil in the world. A prancy, pompous, preppy sort of evil.
@HeySeuss Excellent. With that said, do you mind if I PM you about some of my character ideas just to make sure they're alright?

Go right on ahead, no problem.
